Welcome Matimoo,the Dr.Who 'mates have gone a bit quiet but they are scheduled for December apparently. Minimates are no longer deemed fit for Europeans so are increasingly difficult to find . Limited Edition (see banner ad)seem to be the 'popular choice', just remember that a 'complete' set or wave contains 4 packs of 2 including the variant & strictly speaking it's still ebay,so I dunno really....most of us buy online from the US .

I loved the DC range, as did many of us here ,but I guess the answer to why they were discontinued was due to lack of sales. A complete collection of DC 'Mates is,literally, just a 'few clicks of a mouse away' online. Everything DC is ,currently,easily available except for one or two items that are beginning to achieve rarity when sold as single 2 packs.

Edge of the seat stuff.....brilliant & next week's episode is 65 minutes long. I know nothing more than anybody else about a 'new' doctor ......but my guess is that Donna will somehow 'save' the current one by forfeiting her own life. I somehow see a final scene where Donna's grandfather looks at the night-sky & sees Donna as a new constellation of stars.

Oh okay, they've released so many non-wave FF mates I get mixed up. $46 for Black Spiderwoman is nuts. I didn't even pay that much for Black Spidey or Stealth Iron Man, and that was only a year or so back... that makes me relieved I've mostly checked off my list of hard-to-find mates at this point. It is getting almost impossible to find old variants at reasonable prices.

After much deliberation I recently secured the 2007 Mail-Away Star Wars 5 pack. I received them today but I just can't bring myself to open the box so here are a few pictures which you perhaps might like to see. OK not stunning pictures but I thought you'd like to see them.

Black Spidey followed closely by Cap. Most valuable? I will have to cheat a little but my 'Carded' set of Bruce Lee must be the most valuable.

Thor is my current favourite along with Cap,New Avengers & Captain Britain. I'm also trying to keep apace with Secret Invasion in general. Thor is exceptional for the first time in a long time.

Welcome to these 'boards' Gluesmate ,hope you can stick it . Couple of people here are a bit stuck-up but most of the forum posts will keep you 'glued' to your screen even though the humour is often tacky .

I bought a case each of the latest MGS & SM3 Kubricks from ebay & secured a chase figure in each. I was disappointed with the 'spread ' of the common figures & alarmed by the scarcity of one particular SM3 figure. The Sandman figure appeared once in my case which I took to be an anomaly with my case. Not so! I trawl US ebay every day (every day!) & I have never seen an individual Sandman for sale , never Sandman is not supposed to be rare but it is. My cynicism towards the way these things are marketed increases all the time & I'll say it again,if you are a completist these f*"king things will bankrupt you,beware. I'm serious
