  1. NO plans for more building sets, especially for Power Rangers. Trying to get good order numbers for the VInimates. NO plans for Jennifer Coolidge outside our Gentleman Broncos box set.
  2. He's a VERY popular wrestler who got in a real fight with some of the other AEW talent backstage. The other talent have returned, but Punk was injured at the time, so I am hoping they're just waiting for him to be 100%.
  3. Nope, they should be here soon. He's our first Gallery Diorama, as well (due in May), so I'm hoping Chuck knows something I don't.
  4. Marvel Series 83 is in our warehouse. It should hit stores in the next two weeks.
  5. Slightly, but hopefully everyone still likes it.
  6. It's scheduled to be offered in April, but we'll see if that sticks. Waiting on a ship date for 83.
  7. No Action Man or Adventure Team when you were a kid, BHM?
  8. I doubt we'd do them carded, but a Deluxe box set has been discussed.
  9. I think it's just a matter of where and when, not "if". And we may see more than four.
  10. AEW Vinimates were nominated for the Best Designer Toy Category in the 2022 Poppies! Please vote if you want to see them kick the ass of other snooty designer toys. The People's Picks Ballot - the Pop Culture Collectibles Industry Awards for 2022! (mwctoys.com)
  11. FYI, GI Joe Minimates Series 1 was nominated as Best Miscellaneous in the 2022 Poppies Awards. (I know, I know, but they weren't going to win in the Best Construction Category or the Best Action Figure Category, so this was our best shot. AEW Vinimates were nominated for the Best Designer Toy Category.) If you want to vote for the Poppies, even if it's just to support Minimates, the ballot is here: The People's Picks Ballot - the Pop Culture Collectibles Industry Awards for 2022! (mwctoys.com)
  12. Nope, in our company that would be on Sales. Maybe we'd provide them with the art and mock-ups, but Diamond Comics' sales team would run it by the big retailers to see if there was interest. I can really only provide them with anecdotal fan interest, they're the ones who can see how other Diamond-distributed Trek products are selling right now. If we were doing gangbusters with Minimates, and Diamond was doing great with Trek, I'm sure we'd give it a shot, but at least one of those is not true, and I have not seen any requests. With Picard bringing back everyone from the old crew, now would probably be the time to try it, but there's a lot of other stuff going on. That said, I'd buy 'em.
  13. I THINK price has been an obstacle for some, as cool as the packaging is. The number who buy two sets is probably not enough to counter the ones who think $40 is too expensive. And I THINK if we went to a blister-carded four-pack like Transformers, or even a VHS box, we could bring the price down. But that remains to be seen. We're also working on a new retailer customer, so we'll see if that changes anything.
  14. Army builders have been discussed, but Series 3 and 4 are all uniques, and real crowd-pleasers, we're just working on release format. May shift from carded to something else. We'll see.
  15. No current plans, but we'll see! New pics of the Villains set: Dungeons & Dragons Minimates Celebrate the Villains of the Animated Series - IGN
  16. Yes, there are sheets like this for every Minimate. I'd bet there are some old ones that we'd have trouble locating, they may be in a CD-ROM archive somewhere, but I'm sure current designer Barry Bradfield has everything he's ever done. Pre-Barry, Uriel Caton did a lot of work on the line, and I have some of those hand-penciled sheets in my archives. Pre-Uriel you might get to Nelson Asencio, and I don't know how he worked, but I definitely pulled some of his artwork off of discs for use in the 10th anniversary Minimates book. DSS was part of a library deal, meaning we signed a license to draw on multiple movies from a studio's library. A list of what was available was probably circulated to the staff, and movies were chosen that had potential. Sure, it's not a toyetic action film, but being able to produce a Madonna figure is a pretty great opportunity, sales-wise and press-wise. An action figure would have required her likeness rights, unless the studio had them already (unlikely), but Minimates are non-likeness figures. I'm pretty sure Rocky, Silence of the Lambs, Fistful of Dollars and Platoon were part of library deals, and so were some of the great "lost sets" like Godfather, Beverly Hills Cop and Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
  17. Official pics will go up on IGN this week, including packaging, and pre-orders open Friday.
  18. They are still in active discussion.
  19. Wow, awesome! I never watched the show, but those look '90s-tacular.
  20. I believe wings are removable from chest piece/helmet. They peg into the back. I do not believe it is a permanent connection.
  21. I am seeing that Series 1 should be in the warehouse by the end of the month. I am excited as well. New AEW MM solicitation in late March.
