I was kinda hoping Magma came with a human head.

I was looking for a picture of Avengers minimates just like that one! I don't collect Avenger minimates but I kinda wanted to since I saw the movie, but I want to collect the comic book versions. Those new Avenger box sets are a perfect way to get started!

So I had to jump on the band wagon! Why not?! I want Rogue, with the rest of the brotherhood, Pyro, Toad, Destiny, the Blob, updated Mystique!

Thanks for the compliments guys. i had fun making this. I did see Dazzler's alternate look Zach, but for some reason I've always liked the arcade look for her. Did someone say minimate poster contest? I had no idea there was such a thing! 90's X-Factor minimate poster, hmmm, now there's a possibility.

To celebrate my favorite era of X-Men being transformed into minimates, I made some artwork. It's a minimate version of Uncanny X-men 238! Personally, I think every wave should have some cool little poster, kind of like the Secret Wars one or the Marvel vs. Capcom 3 poster!

Outback X-Men are my favorite! But am I missing something? That list by DST doesn't say when this wave will be released, and where does it say that Storm and Havok are going to be in the TRU wave? Personally, I'd like to see a picture of this Betsy with Havok, Brown Wolverine, Mohawk Storm and Colossus with his red Chest piece off. I was kinda bothered by the puffy sleeves at first but I think the hair bugs me more. They should have sculpted that weird old English hairdo she used to rock. Outback X-Men fan here! :biggrin:

No I didn't those are illustrations by Paul Smith. I believe he was drawing issues of the X-Men around the time Rogue joined.

So just like everyone else I was very impressed with these customs especially the Classic X-Men. So, being a huge X-Men fan like most people I was thinking,"Which X-Man or woman would I really wanna see as a minimate?" And then it hit me, it was Rogue when she first joined the X-Men. We already have all the characters from that era including Storm with a mohawk. So Psyguy, please make a cool Rogue! Maybe she can even have a hood that hangs on her back like the brown Wolverine minmate or that Captain America minimate stuck on ice. We've seen her in the Secret Wars poster but we know yours would be so much cooler! So yeah, just a suggestion!

He he he he - i've been playing it too. I can't beleive how short a game it is though! it used to seem so long and brutal at the arcade. I guess having unlimited 1-ups on the PS3 helps. Love your Konami collection Hope we get an offical Dazzler as nice as your one with a Disco Dazzler variant (or vice-versa). It IS a short game isn't it? But it's so much fun online! It was a quarter guzzler back in the days. I could never get to the end with the amount of money I had. I did see a Lizard and Spidey 2 pack but I'm mainly an X-Men fan although the Cannonball and Shatterstar don't interest me as much. I know I'll end up regretting it since I've been reading the complete New Mutants series and I think I might end up reading the complete X-Force series after that. Then I'll be thinking, "That Cannonball and Shatterstar sure looked cool."

I completely skipped the AOA boxed sets and now that this wave is on its way I'm gonna have to retract and get those boxed sets. I love Blink and AOA Sabretooth!

Well I finally found the "Brown" Wolverine and I mainly wanted him to round out the old school X-Men that I have and especially this team. Since I've been playing the old Konami arcade game On my PS3. I also got Magik and Warlock and I'm just gonna have to get an extra set of New Mutants to make that awesome Doug Ramsey that MsMarvel fan made.

I checked for these this past weekend and Toys R Us was a mess and it was crowded. It's the whole Christmas shopping craziness of every year. I kinda wish these would pop up after the holidays.

Ha! Those are some great customs! That's the exact same formula I used to make my Dazzler custom, Except once the 90's X-Men came out I added Rogue's jacket to give her the X-Men Konami Arcade look! I love the decal you used for her, haha! Great job keep them coming!

I too am exited about the Outback X-men. I recently added a brown jacket to my custom Dazzler and she looks awesome. Just like on that old arcade game! Wolverine is going to look awesome next to her, Betsy, Mohawk Storm and Havok.

So isn't the rule of thumb that once we see the packaged pictures it takes about 6 weeks for them to hit the store shelves? On another note, I'm glad Magik has that Shoulder pad thing on her metallic arm. She didn't have that when we saw the prototype pics and I think it's a nice little detail.

And here is how I picture Magma. Hopefully we will get the rest of these minimates.

Wow. Those look amazing. I was just thinking how the New Mutants aren't the New Mutants without Dani Moonstar. That's exactly how i pictured her in minimate form. Here's my take on her. Great job Iron Cow!

Has anyone tried making a Magma using Karma's body and the Invisible womans Head and hair?

Wow these look great! I can't wait to have Magik and Warlock next to these. Did this box set come with a poster of the marvel minimates? The one with the 90's X-Men in it?

I really didn't want to get a second pack of New Mutants but that idea of making Cypher with that head that comes with Warlock sounds like a good one. All we will need now is Mirage and Magma!

I like the New Mutants but I wasn't planning on getting this set....until... I saw that Magik and Warlock will be available! So just to get this straight, where can I purchase this box set. I noticed Luke will have the AOA mates on his site but what about the New Mutants?
