It is going to be the completion of the riot gear group with Hershel, Billy, Maggie, and Andrea. Making all the extra riot gear Ricks I picked up pointless.

Unless I plan on using the head without a helmet or hair again I prefer to drill a hole. I'm not sure about the size of the bit, I just slide it through an existing peg hole to find the correct one, but rather than trying to mark the top of the head I go through the neck hole. It makes it easier to center it up by sight alone.

Thanks Nervous. Unfortunately eBay is a no go for me though I may try bricklink. I avoided Bricklink back when I was collecting Lego but that was a long time ago so I can't remember what the reason was.

The knife and sheath are from the a Spawn figure, I think it was either Commando Spawn or Pilot Spawn

Thanks,ElGallo21, at least I'm going to take your comment as a compliment. Though I'm still going to keep my head down to avoid any custom throwing stars made from minimate stands. If it helps I only have two customs that I need to complete another Nova that is in need of a body and a Shield Agent G.W. Bridge in need of a head. I have no current plans for customs from the next couple of waves or the Thunderbolts/Invincible/Thief of Thieves/Zombie Villains box sets so if do end up doing any customs from them it'll be a sudden impulse build and not due to any nefarious plot to force you to buy any of those minimates. Oh wait, I do plan on doing up two more Walking Dead Riot customs of Maggie and Tyreese but those have been on my list since Riot Gear Rick came out. And thank you, Captain Paco. Now that the Thundercats line has ended that is probably the last of my Thundercats/Silverhawks customs that I'll be doing unless we get the odd animal themed Marvel minimate. However the A51 line will continue as long as Lego continues to produce New Chima tribes (I really can't wait for the new Saber tooth, Panther, Mammoth, and Phoenix tribes and I'm still disappointed that they haven't released a member of the Bear tribes yet) as well as animals/aliens in other lines. As it is I have to keep telling myself how stupid I'd be to pick up the larger Lego sets just for the minifigure heads especially the TMNT Lair set just for Master Splinter. Fortunately I'm not going to be going out and molesting any more minifig blind bags for a while since I've already found the panda and the next series is going to be Simpsons themed.

Interesting, from the looks of those gauntlets he won't be using his own claws. Though I suppose that makes sense considering the amount of damage that the claws must cause when he does extend them. Still, without his healing factor Wolverine is just another human; all-be-it with an unbreakable skeleton, decades of military training, and a membership card to every team in the Marvel Multiverse. Ah, I get it, that isn't armor. Those are pockets with all those cards so he doesn't need all the 90's era pouches or to carry a man-bag.

Well, as I'm sure you're aware, the Zombie Kingpin is pretty much a self portrait should a zombie plague breakout and I know the last thing I'd care about is how well dressed I am. Joke may look simplistic but it took nearly two weeks of constant part swapping until I settled on that look. It's funny at times how complicated looks come together rather easily but to do something understated is really difficult. Thank you, Imm-Age is a case where I hadn't planned on doing the custom but after tossing the spare parts in a box for later sorting the AoU Iron Man body and Nova Kree head were right together and looked like they were designed to go together. After that I gave him a big gun and an axe that lets him channel his blue lightning abilities.

I'm still around and working on customs and I've even reached a milestone of 400 customs before the end of 2013 so I'll be posting a bunch of pictures in the next couple of days. For now here is a small taste of what I've been up to. The Thunder Roller is a Power Rangers tank that I've modified, using Legos, to seat a minimate. It goes really well with the Thundercats Thundertank. I ended up running into the same problem. After two days I gave up and called the 800 number on the More Marvel site and they worked with me to do it as a manual phone order. If you continue to get stuck in that loop you might want to give that method a try.

I've seen that on quite a few mates. Since it just wipes off I figured that it was just a new mold release substance.

When I have a peg or shoulder socket that is loose I take a small tab of tissue paper and place it in the socket. It's less messy and much more forgiving that super glue or paint.

It just seemed like the next big thing that will have "real life changing consequences" for all of the characters of the Marvel Universe. If there is a universe were nearly everybody is "better off" if the heroes correct the time-line then they will be doing what is right but maybe not what is best. The only problem is that the end of the story is set since if everything was for the best there would be no incentive to continue reading. The only other way to fix this mess is for someone to get a hold of the Infinity Gauntlet and remake the whole 616 universe from the very foundation. Of course once you start the ball rolling on a Crisis it just keeps going where every decade or so there has to be a new crisis to fix all the errors. Not that it seems to matter considering the fact that every two to three years it seems all comics have to have a reset back to issue one since no one can count higher than 100 anymore.

I get the feeling that having the original X-Men around is just begging for a convoluted unreadable event where someone, likely either Jean or Kitty, wakes up and discovers that everything has changed (again) only this time it will be "X-World" where Xavier had to build a new team composed of humans, super humans, and mutants to find his missing students. However, he doesn't get them back and as time progresses they create a better world. The problem being whatever is stopping the X-Men from returning to their own time is resolved but how will they go back knowing that they will be responsible for the destruction of the world they had been fighting to create?

As soon as the Thor wave comes out I'm planning on using Heimdal's head with a bit of white paint.

Another way of looking at it would be that the 616 past hasn't been altered and that is why the original five couldn't go back because they never left. Instead a new alternate time line was created the instant Beast went back and brought them forward in time.
