  1. Mine are currently on the way from HTS. I should have them in hand this week. Yay!
  2. Yeah, this year is shaping up to be really bad financially for me.
  3. I think it makes a lot of sense, actually. You've got to figure that, holding all things constant, you will get at least three kids/collectors that only want a Punisher for every one that would want a Jigsaw. In fact, people that otherwise wouldn't buy Jigsaw at all will only buy him because he is scarce. So, they maximize the amount of product that they are moving. Having said all that, I'll keep an eye out and if I get a Jigsaw, I'll pick it up for a board member. You are exactly right. If Punisher and Jigsaw were evenly packed, after the initial diehard collectors get theirs, I would bet that you could go to TRU and find an abundance of Jigsaws. It also holds true that some will only buy Jigsaw because he is scarce. While it's a winning strategy for the stores, it sucks for the collectors who miss out on a figure because of the abundance of scalpers who buy up anything that they know to be rare. To you guys who are still hunting a Jigsaw, don't despair just yet. They have only been out for two weeks, and I seriously doubt that TRU would do an exclusive and not order a decent amount of them. Also, keep an eye on their website, as some people on the MMF got theirs through that route.
  4. Jigsaw is definitely rare, and can catch upwards of $30+ on ebay currently. The case is packed 3 Punishers to 1 Jigsaw, so Punisher is not nearly as hard to find. If you are interested in Muggs, I hope you at least picked Jigsaw up. If you're not interested in muggs, he would still be good trade bait. I got my Jigsaw by calling every TRU in my area EVERY day until I got lucky.
  5. Well, I replied on mightymuggsforum, so I didn't post here. You are the man when it comes to getting muggs early, Are-Jay. Looking forward to seeing these stateside.
  6. Yeah, that Serpentor is crazy. The GI Joe line is really impressing me.
  7. Looking forward to that Serpentor. Also, I found Punisher and Jigsaw this evening, so I now have all muggs released to date. Yay me!
  8. I think the guy is pretty legit. I remember a while back he was saying he saw protos of Sabretooth, Cyclops, and Jean Grey, and a month or two later there were pictures released. He also told us of Biggs Darklighter, Teebo, and the Snowtrooper several weeks ago, and in the past week or so the pictures of those have hit the net. I'm pretty excited about the wampa. He was always one of my favorite SW creatures.
  9. Nope. I don't have the Toyfare, but I saw a post about it on mightymuggsforum. I didn't realize the new Toyfare was out. I'll probably go tomorrow and buy it.
  10. Yeah, Thundercracker and/ or Skywarp will be obvious convention exclusive options for Hasbro. I can't believe how good these look in Mugg form. I was extremely skeptical of them when they were announced, but man do they look good!
  11. I won't even bother trying to figure out how much I've spent on LEGO. Was it worth it? I think it was worth it to drop LEGO for Minimates if you're more interested in Minimates. It's all about personal preference. I dropped Minimates for LEGO, myself. For me, I found that I was spending too much on my toy hobby, and since LEGO was putting out so many great sets and the Minimates were having some major quality issues, the choice was easier to make. I don't regret it. Also, the C3 feet do fit LEGO bricks, so you will be able to make your sets Minimate compatible with some modifications. Minimates are great toys, and it sounds like you are done with LEGO anyway, so I would say you made the right choice for you.
  12. I saw these over at the mightymuggsforum and they all look great. I know some people think the Snowtrooper looks kind of bland, but that's the design of the armor. Bossk is my favorite, but I think the whole wave is pretty impressive.
  13. Found all 4 GI Joe Muggs at Target today!! They still have their $8.99 sale going too, so today was a good day.
  14. Speaking of, how long ago did you find Darth Revan and have you seen another since? That one has been eluding me... I found him and shirtless Darth Maul about a week or two before Christmas at Walmart, though I don't remember the location. It was either the Evendale, or the Florence store. They had just one of each, and I couldn't believe they were actually out.
  15. They are all worth buying. Of course, I've got all the Mighty Muggs, so I may be a bit biased. Darth Revan is my favorite of the three you mentioned. Galactus is cool because of his giant head. My Ventress looks great, but I have read some complaints from people who got a lousy paint job on theirs. She seems to be pretty easy to find, at least around here, so I would recommend checking her over before you buy her just in case. BTW, the Red Skull Mugg is one of my top three Muggs. He's just behind Venom, and tied with SDCC Iron Man for second. If he couldn't suck you in, I doubt that any of them could have.
  16. Good choice for your first Mugg. Hasbro did a great job on Dooku. I agree that the styling of the Muggs are pretty impressive for the most part. I'm going to have to hit a couple local KB stores to see if they are running sales too.
  17. Thanks guys. Hit the big 3-5 today. Somehow, when I woke up for work this morning, my joints seemed to creak a little more and it was harder to wake up. Must be a mental thing. Hopefully it's a mental thing.
  18. Here's hoping everyone has a happy and safe holiday season. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
  19. WOW!! Very nice work, there. Thanks for posting.
  20. Wow! I have seen the Spiderman for sale alone for around $1500, but I never even knew there was a large sized Doc Ock. If only I didn't have to pay rent, bills, and buy food, I'd definitely buy these.
  21. Picked up Darth Revan and shirtless Darth Maul last night at a local Wal-Mart. Didn't expect to find those this soon. I have all Marvel and Star Wars Muggs released now. Now I need to find the GI Joe Muggs that I've heard have hit some areas and the Transformers early next year.
  22. Yeah, $20 is high, but the figures look pretty good to me. As a MOTU fan, I think I'm going to take the plunge and order these two. I may regret it later, but it still won't be as bad as that time Shane spent $10 on a Shockini...
  23. Yeah, what he said. The loose joints aren't anything to worry about too much. I've seen a couple with one loose arm, but nothing that can't hold a pose. While it may become an annoyance, the arms or head aren't going to pop off or anything like that.
  24. This is what any responsible parent should be feeding their kid(s) "C'mon honey eat your Mc.Donalds......all 88 pieces " http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=h...active%26sa%3DG That guy's gonna be pissed when he finds out that they won't break a hundred for two coffees. Funny stuff, there.
