I love that we have have a Spiderman 2099. He was one of my favorite characters on the Exiles team. Man that comic was great until Claremont ruined the series. His writing just got worse and worse. Also I think the topic creator meant that we should have gotten other more important characters instead of the ones he listed.

Latest custom is up. It is Stratos from MOTU. He has a modified Catwoman mask, a simple face design using Adobe Illustrator, and his body is from Ocean Master. The wings are from a Pegasus from some odd miniature set. The jetpack is made from legos and a few other parts. The two missiles on his back are actually removable too. The leg armor is from Ares, and the arm armor is from Ryu. I think that covers it all. I also was working on a Beastman, but was unhappy with how he looked so I scrapped him. Trapjaw is also currently in the works.

Wow, and I thought Citadel paints were a bit pricey (actually not bad, but when you buy a bunch of them the price really gets up there). I am tempted to get a basic set of them and see if they are worth the money. Time to start saving up.

I'm hoping that DC minimates make a comeback. I'm not even a huge DC fan, but I loved a lot of those minimates that they released. I hope the first set we get is a Batman set. I'd love to get a Mr. Freeze, Two-face, and Scarecrow along with some sort of Batman variant, or a Commissioner Gordon, Even a Knightfall Batman would be cool.

Just finished Ram Man from Master of the Universe. I figured that Nervous has the evil MOTU guys covered, so I am working on the heroes. Stay tuned, more on the way. Here is my newest custom and my addition to the Indiemate contest: STRATOS from Masters of the Universe: I have wanted to finish this one for a while now. I finally got him done about a week ago and he has been sitting around since. This is the old school blade from the old Tomb of Dracula comics. His stakes need to be painted yet and then he'll be finished. I still want to make a Nightstalkers era Blade too, along with the rest of the Nightstalkers. Too bad my computer printer crapped out on me so it is going to be a bit before I get around to them. Thank God I have a ton of other partially completed customs that I can work on. UPDATE: 11/2/09 The star of the movie Predator: Jesse the Body Ventura. You had to have been a fan of wrestling in the late 80's to understand this joke. Can't forget to add a Predator. My camera really doesn't do these latest customs justice. My good camera broke, so I am stuck with this one for now. Here is my vanilla mate entry, that I never got around to entering because I was hoping to get a better camera: Blizzard: Finally the Wrecker: UPDATE 12/13 first up is Warpath in his X-Force outfit. I am surprised that we didn't get this version of him instead of his Uncanny X-men outfit. It would have made more sense since we got Wolverine in that outfit, and are getting X-23 in her X-Force outfit too. No big deal though. He wasn't too tough to make. I just can't decide on which hairpiece to use with him though...any opinions? Next up is Warpath in his old X-Force outfit. I am not happy with this one though and will be redoing the shoulder pads and redesigning the face. Another X-Force member: Shatterstar I figured I would make an X-men villain and decided on Toad. I hope you like him. Also, sorry for the crappy 2 megapixel pics, but I still haven't gotten around to buying another good camera after the kids wrecked my last one

Finished up my latest two. Not as happy with the Mandarin figure as I thought I was going to be, probably throwing him on ebay. I ran out of yellow paint so the yellow on the costume isn't as clean looking as I wanted. Going to go with a more classic look next. Next up is Wendigo. Hulk and Wolverine need more bad guys to fight, so I decided to go with him. He turned out pretty well. I am debating whether or not to give him the duck feet to make him stand a bit taller.

I was just wondering if it ever explains in any of the comics how Gambit went from looking all evil looking when he became one of Apocalypse's horsemen to looking normal again. I don't recall seeing anything mentioned in any of the comics that I read.

Fantastic news. Now I need to start working on custom Skrull bodies for the extra Skrull heads.

The wings for Wasp are from a dragonfly out of one of those 25 cent vending machines. Worked pretty good. I just wish I could make them movable.

Now that we are finally getting more Spiderman villains, how about some X-Men? So far all we have are Magneto, Ultimate Sabretooth, Lady Deathstrike, Juggernaut, Mystique, and Apocalypse. How about villains like Mr. Sinister, a modern version of Sabretooth, Omega Red, Bastion, Blob, Avalanche, Pyro, Toad (a Brotherhood of Evil Mutants would be fantastic), Sauron, Spiral, Stryfe, Exodus, Silver Samurai, Vulcan, Ord, Danger (those last three played major roles in the X-men comics this past year). Also, are we any closer to finally getting Deadpool, Psylock, and Gambit minimates? Also since box sets are becoming more popular how about a Jim Lee style X-men set? I know that you had said no a few years ago, but things have changed since then. We have plenty of different looking Spideys, so why not the X-men. We could get Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, Jubilee, and Beast, or Gambit or a new Wolverine with a retooled mask.

I just started playing a bunch of old Xbox games recently. I forgot how much fun some of those games were. My 4 year old son is old enough now that he is pretty good at playing first person shooters so we have been playing Halo 1,2, and Far Cry. I just ordered Time Splitters Future Perfect off ebay since mine appears to have vanished in thin air. That's another game I know he is going to like.

Here are my newest customs. First off are two different Storm Troopers. I have a few more Storm Troopers in the works, along with a few Clone Troopers. The Lego Star Wars Helmets look great on a minimate body. For some reason my white Storm Trooper doesn't look too white, but he is. It must be my crappy camera and the lighting. Next up is Sleepwalker. I used to read the comics years ago, but for the life of me I can't remember what his powers are. I know that he is an alien and has something to do with dreams. I'll have to look it up. I also made the purple on his costume a bit darker than what it was in the comics. The light purple just didn't look right in my opinion. Next is Sabretooth. I am still kinda upset that we have only gotten the Ultimate version of him. He is Wolverine's greatest foe, yet no official minimate. After Skull Buster's awesome custom I knew I just had to give up waiting and make my own. Finally is a modern looking Wasp. I need to paint one more section to her crotch, but she is pretty much completed. She is one of my personal favorite customs so far. Ignore all the other crap around them. They are all work in progresses (like modern Sunfire using Bizklimkit's design, and my Trapjaw), or scrapped customs. Anyways, I hope you like them all and please leave feedback (positive or negative).

Well, at least it's nice to know that he is around and keeping in touch with some people here. I really miss his customs, and I noticed going through this thread that pics of most of his customs have disappeared. I remember him talking about working on a new Panthro minimate since he didn't like his current one. I wonder if he ever finished it?

Sooo.....anyone know what happened to Josh? I got a feeling that Tony Stark has tossed him into the negative zone. That has to explain his disappearance.......or maybe Skrulls are involved. Hmmm.

I hope they are all Skulls, and one in an Elektra outfit since that is what kinda got everything going. I'd like to see a regular Skrull, a Super Skrull, and two Warrior Skrulls.

I like the Kraven, Black costume Spidey, and Shocker. I also like the Venom over any of the others we have gotten so far. I think they need to adjust the look of his eyes a bit though. I would have preferred a Gargan style venom, but this will do. I'm not that familiar with the Cosmic Spidey, so I can't say that I'm looking forward to that one. I was really looking forward to the Tarantula mini, but I am underwhelmed right now. I think that all of these will look better than they do now once the finished product pics show up.

Fan-frickin-tastic on the latest customs. I have been wanting to make an Omega Red custom for a while now. Yous looks incredible. I am still holding out for the chance to get an official Sabretooth that looks like your custom one. Ultimate Sabretooth just isn't good enough. We need more X-men villians. Maybe with the latest waves including more villians like Apocalypse, Mysterio, Hydro Man, Hobgoblin, Kraven, etc. that we will see more X-men villians.

Usually there are helpful members on here that pick up extras for those of us that are not able to make it. Just stay tuned and watch for a post offering the sets. If for some reason that doesn't happen this year there is always Ebay as a last resort. Any info on extra sets this year TBT?

Any idea when the X-men toon is coming out and what tv station it is going to be on? I'm really looking forward to it.

Just do what I did for my DS and download every game that sounds like you might like it and give them a try. I gotta say the Nintendo DS has a ton of crappy games, but the are some real gems in there too.
