This trailer has done nothing to allay my fears, movie still looks like crap. The scene where he's showing off his suit to his buddy makes me cringe every time. Really Hal, really? And yeah Karamazov, the CGI looks terrible. The CG on his suit looks like something we would have seen 5 years ago, I can't believe they are trotting it out and showing it. He literally has his skin painted green, no effort was put into making that "suit" even look like a physical piece of clothing that he actually wears.

True. The suit looks waaaay too green in the clips, I hope they tone it down some in post-production, because if these clips are actual finished footage it's going to be very hard to watch this movie. I love GL and understand why they made the choice to go with a full CG suit, but it just isn't working for me from what I've seen so far. At the very least, his mask shouldn't be glowing as bright as his suit. Even if it wasn't garish and hard to look at, it makes you wonder how the poor guy would see anything beyond his own blinding green glare.

Seriously?! The Goblin is so laughably bad I can't believe Marvel even gave the thumbs up on the design and the Swiss Miss? I repeat, the Swiss Miss?!? Obviously Spider-Man has a very short, uninteresting rogue's gallery so Mrs. Taymor felt the need to create a new and exciting foil for Peter in the wonderfully designed SWISS FREAKING MISS!?!?!?!?!??!? Sorry, I really love me some Spider-Man, but this looks like a hot mess that's going to crash and burn in epic proportions. Maybe Swiss Miss can make Julie Taymor a nice cup of cocoa to help her through the long nights ahead.

I love Halo but these minimates just don't do anything for me. I can't imagine these guys are going to be too poseable and they don't even look like minimates any more they are so sculpted and bulked up...I really wanted to want these but after seeing more pics I'm a solid PASS...

Yeah, I'm glad they got away from the rubbery look too. I had similar concerns for Thor. As for the movie, I'm pretty pumped for it personally, though at this point I have a feeling Thor might be a better film...

Hello all, For my entry I'm submitting Big Barda. I'm pretty sure she should qualify for at least a 2.5 mini as she registers at over 7 feet tall (she's actually taller than Batman and Superman by almost a foot). She could also have a pretty sweet variant but I didn't design it because I figured that would technically constitute two different figures. I did it all in Illustrator so if you folks want a close-up on her face or anything I can blow it up for detailed views so let me know if it's wanted/needed.
