Sorry. It's been a crazy hectic week... and I fear that it's only going to get worse from here on out, until Christmas is over. I'm sorry that I didn't have the update ready for this morning. I usually try to get the friday update posted before I go to bed on Thursday night, but things have not been allowing me to do that. I've been trying all day today (and all day yesterday) to just sit down and get everything finished, but I keep getting interrupted. Anyway, I am currently finishing up the photoshop work on today's strip... give me a couple more hours (I still need to put it all together and get the words punched out and all that) and I'll have this week's and last week's issues posted. Though, unfortunately, I won't have that bonus ready that I mentioned last week. That will have to wait till next friday (or sooner, if I can get it done in a timely manner). I do apologize to everyone who has been waiting so patiently for my updates... I've been caught up in other *more important* things, as well as self-made distractions. I will try to get a reign on my scheduling so that this won't happen again...

That's kinda how I feel a lot of the time, but I post anyway. Part of the thing that makes this place great is the interaction and getting to know fellow 'mate lovers. So feel free to post when the occassion calls for it And let me be the first to say: Welcome! Make yourself at home

I have picked up a couple of specific figures from a few other toy lines, but I've never gone all out and set myself on a mission to collect every single figure released from any one given line... except for minimates. So, I would say that that simple fact is enough for me to be able to claim that minimates are my favorite toy line ever.

Sorry guys, I fell behind a bit. I have other priorities that I need to be taking care of this week before MMA, and I'm still not done with them I normally try to stay ahead by at least 2 weeks, so that this kind of thing doesn't happen, but unfortunately I fell into a 3 week writer's block, and couldn't for the life of me come up with something worth making an issue out of. Which stinks, cuz it caught up to me this week But I have this week's issue in-the-works, and hopefully by next Friday I'll have a special bonus for you guys...

Here's an idea.... find an address of someone you know (like a family member or a friend) who isn't part of this community, and use that (with their permission, of course). That way, if you have to have an address, you won't be running the risk of being found out - if your recipient does try to find out who you are, they will be chasing a wild gosling

I have an mp3 player that holds 128MB (it was a gift... I couldn't be picky ) but it has a slot for an SD card (which is great) Anyway, I am constantly shuffling the files around, cuz even a 2 GB card doesn't hold as much as I'd like. And that's without the option to play video. My 'lust after' player is definitely the iPod video (80GB)... My friend has one, and I love using it. I too was looking into the Zune player, but I've been hearing some negative speculation (nothing confirmed though)... but like JL, I'll have to wait and see it before I make a judgement. anyway, I would say go for the iPod video. But then, I don't care about the 'hassle' of encoding and all that. I love the video aspect, and having portable video access is a wonderfully fun thing

Yeah, Sundays aren't so great for me, as I am busy literally all day, till about 9:00pm (New York time). Saturdays would probably work best for me as far as the weekends go... but there's still that pesky business of what time ...

Wow. Those entries are beautiful, guys! I dont think I even need to worry about making any at this point, cuz I dont know how well I could compete with those... And Fujis, if you can give me like 30 minutes or so, I can get a high res Minimates logo to you. I have to go run some errands first, but I can jump on that as soon as I get done...

Nah, you're not alone. I'm a big hip hop fan. And everyone is always amazed when they find that out, cuz I'm whiter than Shawn of the Dead But I like nearly everything. There are a few styles I don't care for, but even those I can still listen to and find some kind of enjoyment out of. I think there's one or two country songs that I listened to where I was like "hey look at that - I'm not trying to kill myself. neato" umm.. but Polka is one that I definitely don't like.
