haha. the marvel minimate god must hate us all. the last wave of marvel mates hit store almost a year ago now. jeez. Uh, actually the X-men 3 mates hit in March. lol I guess I just wrote those off. I don't like movie mates. I don't know about anyone else, but I would much rather have new COMIC characters than movie versions of figures that have already been made. plus I play with mine, so like... the mates wouldn't look quite the same lol

I heard from my LCS that the release on the avengers set was pushed back as well. that's just what I heard though. i've just been tiding myself over with dc ones.

I look at it as a chance to get Peter Fonda & Nicholas Cage minimates. It makes it more interesting. haha! that made my night, no joke. I am happy to see these mates... but I really hope they won't make it their wave 15. on the other hand though, I know they will... which bums me out. I mean, if I hafta choose between unseen comic characters (in mate form) and some movie line, which am I gonna pick? hmmm....

How can someone not like Iron Maiden ? Me though, my musical taste is pretty much the same, mainly black/death/thrash/heavy/nu metal and rock with the occasional industrial thrown in for good measure... do you like amon amarth? and it's the dickinson's vocals what drives my distaste for iron maiden Being quite honest, i was never really a big fan of the whole viking metal scene, give me some Emperor or Darkthrone any day As for Dickinson's vocals. Dude, that's what makes Iron Maiden the great band that they are. I deliberately missed the whole phase they went through of having Blaze Bailey as vocalist because he was naff as a singer and wasn't good enough to shine Bruce's boots... darkthrone is awesome. as far as metal goes though, i'm more into math metal and metal-core... that stuff

so those of you who loves music as I do, what is your chosen preference? mine varies from time to time, but it never strays far away from the metal genre. pretty much any genre that isn't power metal (iron maiden, dragonforce) does it for me. but then other times, I dig on such bands like the killers, yeah yeah yeahs, dashboard confessional, hawthorne heights and other stuff like that. so I guess it's pretty much all on the "rock" side of things but yeah, how 'bout you guys?

I voted yes, purely based on the fact that some people don't pick up easily on an intended tone, or a subtle sense of sarcasm. I am fairly astute at picking up on these, but others are not... and chaos ensues. thus, I vote "yes"
