I agree. it's not about the concept (which is awesome) it's about the characters. I don't want to go see a seth rogan and steve carell movie, I want to see a bill murray/dan akroyd/harold ramis movie. that being said, i'm going to try to reserve judgment until I see anything material from it.

those customs are AMAZING man, just amazing. I especially love the 2099 doom. and the re4 packaging looks great. your packaging always looks very professionally done. I remember when I first saw your psycho set, I thought it was the real deal, but unfortunately it was not, and i am without psycho mates

What I'm trying to say is that they're trying to get you into buying into the most prominent line: Marvel XD Once you see the overwhelming number of characters, you feel like you have to get as many as possible. And I don't think it would be fair to have a poster of all moviemates including BTTF as that wouldn't be fair as the first box set is impossible to get >_> ok, that makes much more sense in retrospect haha. when I first read it, it seemed like a random quote tossed in there, in place of answering the question. haha, so I threw in one of my own. but yeah, it is weird about the random poster in there.

I would have liked a more alex ross-looking captain marvel. a more obtainable catwoman the phantasm (from the animated movie "batman: mask of the phantasm") mr. freeze/scarecrow updated man-bat/mad hatter hush/poison ivy red son batman/ red son green lantern what's that, a vertigo line at SDCC? swamp thing/john constantine and of course, the exclusive box set of "the endless" I want all of these =(

no you aren't. I am totally excited about it. not just the mates, but the bust, the keychain, and um... what was the other thing? OH YEAH, the game, whoops. I think the only thing I don't care too heavily about are the gamer skins, but I might put one on my system regardless, we'll see I have the ps3 version pre-ordered, and when it arrives, I will squeal like a girlie.

Raising Arizona, Fargo, Big Lebowski, O Brother, Where Art Thou?, No Country for Old Men, Burn After Reading, etc. Surely you have heard of one or two of these? I liked "o brother", "fargo", and of course, "the big lebowski", but other than that, I don't like the coen brothers much. "miller's crossing" was alright... but meh that being said, I love toy story and I love toy story 2 even more! so I have been thoroughly excited about toy story 3 for a long time now.

no kidding. and from what I gathered looking around at their website, TRU isn't planning on selling any other ghostbusters stuff. so that means no anchor toys. I mean, if you go to the marvel minimates and look around, they're surrounded by bigger, more space consuming toys to initially get people's attention, then BAM! you find these (in)glorious little bastards. but I remember at my local TRU when the speed racer and SF mates were released, they were tossed into the clearance isle when they were first stocked, though they clearly were not on clearance.

that's lame, I hate when they don't get painted well =( you know, I hadn't even thought about that idea until you posted it. now red skull is out one coat piece and there are spare t-800 parts laying about

all my LCS had left this morning was a Rulk/skaar two pack and the red skull/cap two pack. so I snatched up the RS/CA two pack, as it's the only one I planned on getting... though I was tempted by the other pack. what I was not tempted by were the wolverine movie mates. I um... don't want those.

what a twist! yeah tv commercials would be way too risky though, alot of money and no guaranteed return. maybe comic book advertisements though. at least then you are shooting the target (marvel) audience in the face! but instead of a bullet, you're using an advertisement for an awesome toy!

If you think you can re-sell the game for retail price, that is. To do that: a ) the game has to be good enough that people will want to buy it; and b ) you will have to sell it fairly quickly. The value of video games on the secondary market seems to go down very quickly. I am sure that some will pay a bit for the Slimer statue. But my fear is that if I order this, I then won't want to sell the statue or keychain yeah, no questioning that there wouldn't be really any way to make all your money back, or a guarantee to make any back... you'd definitely have to take a financial hit. unless we rob amazon's warehouse *shifty eyes*

I got all three packs today, and I am thoroughly satisfied. I think the t1000 and BD ahhnold is my favorite pack of the bunch. mini-gun= best accessory ever, hands down.

well it's not like you can't resell the other stuff if you do that i'm sure there's people out there who would pay to get the slimer bust and by reselling the extra game, you're automatically making back half edit: I know myself well enough to know, I WILL be opening mine.
