I've got tickets to see it at Movie Tavern tomorrow. I don't normally buy movie minimates but I'm currently on the fence with these. Looks like we're finally getting a decent pony tail hair piece with Zealot!

That scares me. My local Walgreens are finally cleared out and haven't restocked in a few weeks. I was hoping their next restock would be with Squirrel Girl and the rest of Series 3.

Did we ever get a release date for 3.0?

I've been eyeing these up for a LONG time in my local comic shop. They look amazing but they also look like they won't be able to stand on their own. How's the quality on these? p.s. Did you guys see that there is a new Batman The Animated Series comic book crossover with the new Nick version of the Ninja Turtles? It's a 6 issue series and the first issue comes out in November.

I'm still hoping for Mortal Kombat at some point.

What are the exclusives for the Hot Topic wave? My local Hot Topic has these so I can probably grab them for anyone that wants them.

It looks like Super Shredder is going to be in the newest season of the Nick cartoon and if they're looking at that season for Series 6 then we might have a shot at him.

The Power Man/Spidey set seems to be the most popular of that wave based on what I've seen so far.

There were people that were adamant about it being made one way or the other so of course there would also be complaints about it being articulated now. I prefer the original non-articulated Rockets because they are more in scale. I would be perfectly fine with an articulated Rocket if the proportions didn't look so off.

Here's an idea for the future... There was a Father's Day set that had proto pics released a long time ago that had real small children minimates. Can we get Rocket on that small child body type but with a shorter version of those wolf legs? It would eat up some new tooling but it would also make a bad ass and more accurate Rocket figure. I think Rocket can work as an articulated figure and I get the Rocket/Groot size argument but I have a feeling this Rocket isn't going to look right based off of how those legs look compared to the rest of the body.

I realize that Parallax and Green Lantern are the same guy, that's why I used that as an example. How about this for a better example using Marvel...that'd be like saying we don't need a Professor X or Magneto because we have an Onslaught. (Or we don't need an old school 80's Hulk Hogan because we have an nWo Hollywood Hogan). I guess I'll just change my main entry to the Great Lakes Avengers then (Mister Immortal, Flatman, Doorman and Big Bertha). I'm pretty sure they've never been represented anywhere! p.s. I think Flatman could even be done as an accessory.

I know there's a Penance Minimate but I don't count that. That's like saying we don't need a Hal Jordan Green Lantern because we have Parallax. (I was trying to stick to a Marvel reference for that but I couldn't think of a good one.)

Do those two have the shorter arms too since they don't have to hold a big weapon? I'm interested to see what they look like.

Speedball? I don't think they ever made a 90's Toy Biz version or a Marvel Legends. Callisto? Shadow King? Arcade?

I didn't have any expectations at all. I'm just not familiar with it so that's why I was asking. So it's basically just a big accessory. I hope that means that we can get some similar stuff in other lines like a Danger Room for the X-Men or something.

I'm not entirely sold on these. So they're just like...statues?
