  1. I will say that at first I did not want anything to do with the Zombie Marvel Heroes. I don't even watch the Walking Dead or any Zombie themed movies/tv shows. However, I really like the Walking Dead MiniMates and so I had to get them. Now, after Marvel Wave 60 and Luke's zombified stickers for the villain, I am digging the Villian Zombies. I just ordered the two existing box sets from Luke. I know Morbius is not really a zombie but I don't have the original release of him so this is great. I will be displaying the Zombie Marvel Villains in my office during October as part of my Halloween MiniMate display I do every year since the Universal Monsters came out. I only wish that I could get a full skeleton MiniMate as well as a witch, a devil and a transparent ghost in minimate form for my display. I will be getting the third box set because I do like the Ultron in that set but I do like the Zombie Pyro I made with Luke's stickers better than the prototype in they pictures.
  2. I agree that DST could make Star Trek a success if they go at it like they did Marvel Wave 60. But I think some box sets could also be successful. If they did a set of four 2 pack, and did it similar to how Marvel Wave 60 was, this it could be something like: Riker (with parts to make LT Junior Grade Worf from season 1) with Gowron Data (with parts to make LT Gordi LaForge) with a Ferengi Crusher (with parts to make Deanna Troi) with Guinan Q (in judges robes with Starfleet Uniform under and extra hairpiece) and Tasha Yar (This would lead to multiple purchases to make all the alternate characters. I would purchase at least four of each set for sure maybe five because you could then use the Worf head and a Data body to make LT Worf and the Gordi head and LT Junior Grade Worf Body to make LT Junior Grade LaForge.) A box set could be done to make say Picard, Data, Riker and Q from the episode "Q-Pid" where they were in a reality Q created based upon the myth of Robin Hood. (Picard was Robin Hood, Riker was Will Scarlet, Data was Friar Tuck and Q was the Sheriff of Nottingham) They could then make a chaser two pack with Vash as Maid Marian (with parts to have her in an everyday outfit) and Worf as Little John. Then they could always do the same for the rest of the Star Trek Series (DS9, VGER and ENT). I would like to see an Ensign Ro with parts to make Commander Shelby from TNG, Deanna Troi in the miniskirt tunic from Episode 1 of TNG, Kira in her uniform from Season One with parts to convert her to the Starflleet Uniform she wore at the end of the series, Odo with parts to make him as seen in "Necessary Evil". I would like to see a box set of the Mirror Universe versions of Sisko, O'Brien, Kira and Worf. Anyway, I would say that if they promoted Star Trek the way they did wave 60 of Marvel there could be a large number a sales to make it worth the effort.
  3. For the 50th Anniversary, they should do a box set of the four to five most wanted characters from each series other than TOS. 1) TNG: Riker, Troi, Data and Worf with parts to make LaForge and Dr. Crusher included 2) DS9: Jadzia Dax, Chief O'Brien, Kira and Odo with parts to make Dr. Bashir included 3) VGER: Chakotay, Torres, Tuvok and Neelix with parts to make Paris and Kim included 4) ENT: Tucker, Sato, Phlox and T'Pol with parts to make Reed and Mayweather included By having the extra parts it would make for multiple sales so people can complete the various crews from each series. I know it leaves out Guinan from TNG, Kes from VGER, Ezri Dax from DS9 but they could be be a SDCC Set or some special assortment at a convention. Ezri Dax would be great if the made her with the child size body they now have for the shorter characters. Guinan would need at lot of tooling for her strange headwear. Kes would be basically an easy make since they made similar looks on other headpieces. We already have Seven of Nine but could do a variation of her in say the blue uniform she wore in an episode or two when she traveled in time. Then if they were really gung-ho, they could make a box set of aliens. Quark, Female Founder, Kazon and Gowron could be in that set. I would love to see a set of TOS aliens: Bele (with parts to make Lokai), Salt Vampire, sculpted head Gorn (or the Gorn as it appeared on the episode of ENT-more lizard-like) Romulan Officer with parts to make a Romulan Centurion. Just voicing my dream mates.
  4. Just placed my order with Luke for the Gotham box set. Now I have to hope he gets the two-pack of Jim and Bruce.
  5. Ooh! I forgot Trelane from "Cat's Paw" and an Andorian army builder! I would love an Andorian from TOS and even Shran from "Enterprise". I would also enjoy an official Trelane from "Squire of Gothos" as well as Gary Seven from "Assignment: Earth" with a black cat accessory.
  6. Would love both sets. The space suit set would be great and could come with an extra body that is "phased" so we can make Kirk from "the Tholian Web". The transporter series would not require any new tooling because all the parts already exist just need transparent limbs in the correct colors. I would buy three of each for sure of both sets.
  7. I never thought of that; maybe I might try it. I was thinking of trying the cutting of the boot and bare foot to try that look for Zombie Blob; however, the bare foot is actually bigger than the boot. I will have to give it a little more thinking before I do go through with it.
  8. I never thought of that; maybe I might try it.
  9. Luke314pi if you were talking to me, Thank you. I don't own any Marvel Zombies so these four are my first.
  10. Not sure I will be working on them any more. However, if I do, I will share the pics.
  11. I finally got a picture of my Prom Zombie and the date I made for her.
  12. I did a little reworking of Zombie Pyro, Zombie Avalanche and Zombie Blob. I did some cutting of the harness on Pyro, I added some bloody spots to Blob and I cut Avalanche's shoulder harness and gave him a zombie arm for some more variation. Destiny was not changed from the first image.
  13. Here are a few other customs made from the parts included in wave 60 and with decals from Luke and other parts I had on hand. Unfortunately, I don't have any spare trenchcoats or the like to have given Gambit that look. I got as close as I could.
  14. I did try to make Pyro's hair look more dirty because we all know Zombies don't take proper care of themselves. I darkened it with a mustard colored sharpie pen, but I also made the mask part more orange than it was as most zombie minimates seem to have a coloring that is just off from the normal minimates. Here are a few customs I did with parts from Wave 60 and some decals from Luke. Yes, I did two Gambit customs, one to pay a little tribute to his classic look and the one with the parts to use on Banshee's body from the package. Kitty is on a Storm body. I only wish that Doc Oct was more yellow for Banshee. I am going to use Iron Fist's body parts for making Siren.
  15. Just thought I would share this here as well. These are the custom Brotherhood Zombies I made from Marvel Wave 60 with the help of decals from Luke at Luke's Toys Store. I did use a couple of parts from other sources. The Blob is nibbling on a fleshy hunk from the Pathfinder Ghoul, and Avalanche has a Zombie Thug's legs while Destiny has the Biker Zombie's stub where a hand should be. I did cut the helmet for Pyro and Avalanche to show the detail of the facial decals Luke made. This picture is also posted in the Wave 60 thread.
  16. Here is a picture of my Zombie Brotherhood Mates. Thanks to Luke's decals and I enjoyed tweaking Blob to make him look like a Zombie and ripping open bodies to consume flesh and brains. I even gave him a fleshy hunk to nibble from.
  17. Made the zombie versions of Pyro, Avalanche, Blob & Destiny today but forgot to snap pictures. Will do so on Tuesday and try to share with you all.
  18. I got shipment from Luke today. I got a full case and two sets of three two pack. Luke advised me he needed to alter my order to help him fulfill another customer's order of just one complete set. Anyway, I opened my two partial sets. I made the three alternate X-men and a custom Gambit. I will be tinkering with Luke's decals. Will post what I have unless someone else posts similar one first.
  19. Just got a message from Luke that my orders are awaiting shipment. I am getting a full case and then one full set and then a set of six (No Jubilee set). I will be keeping one set sealed in packages. I will then have one set for display and two sets to customize with the sticker kits and then some extras for further customizing of other characters as needed. I can't wait to see all the cool decals that Luke is making for us. I only wish I had an older Jubilee with the yellow jacket so I can make her in that format. However, I am happy to get her in the format we will be getting her as part of this wave. I thank you DST for this version and for Luke in helping make alternate versions of the extras.
  20. The local TRU here in Bloomington/Normal, IL just got the four pack and so I got two sets one to give my godson who is 4 and loves SpongeBob and one for myself to open an use as the needs arises in my customizing endeavors.
  21. Can't wait for the Gotham four pack, then I will retire my Gordon, Essen, & Nygma customs. So please share the release date!
  22. Okay, So I have be tinkering with Goblins. I shared some already but here are all the ones I have tinkered with. This is the Goblin from the Boxset with a cape and an axe instead of the sword he comes with. Then the two Munchkin Goblins I have modified. This is the Konkrud Goblin and the two Konkrud Goblins I have modified. This is the Dogslicer Goblin and the two Dogslicer Goblins I have modified. I will be getting the promo Goblins some day next week and I will see what I can do to modify one or two of them as well. I am not aware of exactly what the role of the characters from Pathfinder really are, but I am liking the Goblins and can't wait to display them all at Halloween with my Universal Monsters.
  23. Nothing much for my recipes: The Konkrud make-overs: 1) I merely changed the chest block with that from a Tomb Raider Storm Guard. I then also just accented the black facial lines with a darker green to give him a little different look as well as making his earing golden in color. I did also add come darker brown color to the skirt. 2) I used the chest block and skirt from Phoebus. The Munchkin make-overs: 1) I used chest block, skirt and shoulder covers from a Tomb Raider Storm Guard. Then I used a marker to add toe nails and finger nails as well as added needed details to the face to make it look less cartoonish. I also made the earring more of a bronze color to go with the colors in the skirt. 2) I used the Human Ranger chest block and skirt. Then I also added finger and toe nails; as well as details to the face to again make him less cartoonish. This one is my favorite make-over of the Munchkin Goblin. I do have a Dogslicer make over (merely a modification with a paint to change the red to yellow) but the paint is drying and needs a touch up.) I will also work a couple of Promo Goblin make-overs once I get them from Paizo.
