Curious: What parts did you use to make Doomstar? I see Hobgoblin's face, and Kraven's left arm and Captain America (IW) chest, waist and legs? Is that the Collector's cape? A SHIELD Armor Spider-man helmet? I am thinking of making a version of it myself after being inspired by yours. Also, what parts did you use on Gun Tiger? I see Kraven's chest piece and feet, Hobgoblin's chest, Sabretooth's legs and arms? Whose's head, and hands? As always, I do like your work.

As always, Great job on your newest customs, I am always in awe of how you come up with such good names and quick background info. I like them all and wish I had the funds to get the fodder to make the all for myself. Really like the Hot Tub Hulk, he could almost go with your Avengers/X-Men Calendar Men you had a while back.

Would like to get the Star Trek The Next Generation Data figure.....but have not seen them around here in Bloomington/Normal, IL.

I was inspired by Prowl-Ar's Borg-Pool. And being a fan of Star Trek and staring to really get into Deadpool, I made two of my own. The first one is not an exact copy of Prowl-Ar's but I really liked his and the second one is I figured why not as I had the parts.

My vision of Loki as the God of Thunder..... I used AoA Rogue's cape, Loki's head and head piece and Dark Avenger Thor's body and hammer. I am working on Thor King of Hel as well but need to figure out the head to use and wait on the Blood Hammer to turn out.

Here is a custom mermaid I had made long before undersea gal came to Minimates. I used Marrina's chestblock, arms and head and a trident from Shapeways. I then used Model Magic to sculpt the fish tale.

Here is a Hawkman that I like better than the standard issue. I used Night Owl's legs and hip piece and then the top half of the original release Hawkman.

Here are some images of customs I have on display in my office along with all my Star Trek minimates. First is the Masters of the Universe....some are still Works in Progress and they are not on display (Buzz-Off, Clawful, Faker, and second Evilyn). Man-at-Arms, Teela and He-Man The helmet and chest piece for Man-at-Arms, the staff and headpiece and waist piece for Teela, The sword, chest piece, waist piece and shield for He-Man were all from Shapeways. The rest are parts I had on hand. May change out Man-at-Arms face at some point. Skeletor, Beastman and Evil-lyn Skeletor's cowl, waist piece and staff, Evil-lyn's headpiece and scepter are from Shapeways. The rest are from parts I had on hand. Stratos Stratos' helmet, waist piece and jet pack are from Shapeways. I gave up on Stratos wings from shapeways as after three sets they kept breaking, so I used wings from a spare Falcon I had parted out for some other custom.

Here is my Creature from the Black Lagoon part swap of the Creature's head on the Undersea Gal's body.

I figured this would be a great place to start. I had and extra Gorn and an extra Undersea Gal. I swapped a few parts and had some fun. I made Gorn-maid and Mer-Gorn. I will not be keeping them this way but was merely having some fun and could not resist the urge to share. I hope they don't look too dorky but I I do sort of like them. I do have a Creature head on another Undersea Gal body but don't have a picture available at this time.

I also tweaked the 1,000,000 BC Phoenix Force. I gave her an orange flame stand, Shanna chest block, and then the Phoenix head and hair from wave 59 Marvel Girl. Feel this is a more primitive look. As for the 1,000,000 BC Ghost Rider, I altered him by merely changing the yellow head flames for a classic orange one.

I tinkered with the "What If....?" and made a version of the Peter Parker as the Punisher. I don't have many Punisher parts as I was never really in to that character but liked the image I saw online so I made my version of him. I used a Fear Itself Spider-man head, arms, hip and legs and the Punisher chest block from wave 76. I believe the belt is from Agent Venom and not sure where I got wrist-guards.

Well, I had almost given up trying to find any new Walgreen's Minimates in Bloomington/Normal, IL. There are six Walgreen's in these two towns (twin cities as they are referred to from time to time.) Two are harder to get to for me as they are on the very opposite side of town the I normally travel. Anyway, of the four I can frequent, one is not very often. The three I can get to without much effort have pegs that hold some of the very first two or three waves of Walgreen's exclusives or the Movie mates that are also now just hanging on and not selling. Yesterday I ventured to the fourth location I try to make it to but is on the fringe of my domain. This one store happened to have one full set of Avengers of 1,000,000 BC and I snagged that whole set. They also had three of the second wave of Infinity War mates (I got the Hulkbuster set and the War Machine set, but skipped the Gamora set.) Also found the Kraven set, the new Collector/Quill set and the new Skurge/Enchantress set.) This particular Walgreen's had the endcap display as referred to in a previous posting. The other three I frequent did not have any new endcap displays or any of the newer mates. Now the remaining two stores in town may have the new mates, but I will not be able to get to them anytime soon to check them out. I opened the 1,000,000 BC set I got. I like the primitive Black Panther and Ghost Rider. Starbrand looks like a Hulk only not green. Iron Fist is sort of cool as a female and her ponytail is an interesting part. Odin could use a better helmet/beard combo, but a nice figure. Agamotto is a nice figure as well, but the antlers fell off already. Phoenix is cool in all but the fire bird is attached to her hair and makes it a part that is very character specific and not usable for any customizing outside of a Phoenix character, but the primitive appearance is nice. As for the Fallen, it sort of looks like cross between Iron Man as Sentinel and a transformer. I like the use of the wristbands on Phoenix, Iron Fist and Ghost Rider and even Agamotto (but his are a different color). I will say overall I would give this set an 8 out of 10. I am going to display them after Halloween as my display location at my office is currently overrun with Nightmare Before Christmas mates as well as Beetlejuice and Universal Monsters. I wish I had been able to get a second set or at least a third set as I can see some parts being able to be used for other customs.

I never knew this thread was out there. I guess my Children of Oberon would sort of fall under this thread. While the characters are not my original ideas, the minimate embodiment of them is. I may have to tinker some and share but since Photobucket now charges, I am not sure how to get Google Photos to show properly.

I would really love to get my mitts on that Battle Beast Black Bat. I have been wanting it since it was supposed to be part of the next wave of Battle Beasts that was cancelled. I did not have an extra of the first bat released or I would have customed it to look like this Black Bat. I did work a number on one of the extra Merk's I have and made him look like the Robin that was to be part of that wave, but I really would die for a Black Bat. I have been collecting Star Trek since I can really remember collecting anything. I have all but four of the 4.5 inch Playmates Star Trek Action Figures. I typically keep a full crew on display but we are preparing to sell our house so they are all packed up now. At my office, I have most of my displays. I have my Lego Minifigures. I have the complete Justice League as complete as I think it is. I am happy that we could all connect on another front. I enjoy your posts about MiniMates but I do like having you as friends on Pokemon Go as well. I only wish we were close enough to actually trade pokemon as I am sure you all have many that I don't have.
