  10. ^correct. It's in case people want to recreate one of those large interior splash pages. Also if want to recreate a series of panels showing a sequence of actions but limit that to 2 page spread. And no picking and choosing from different panels throughout a comic or another comic book. Sequential panels from one comic book.
  11. Correct. Please submit your entry in this thread and note on it that it's your official entry. Also include the original cover/panel or a link to the original.
  12. It's been a few years since we've had a comic cover contest, so let's see what masterpieces everyone can come up with this time. Please submit your entry in this thread and note on it that it's your official entry. Also include the original cover/panel or a link to the original. 4.) This must be a new creation from the start of this post. This doesn't mean that everything in it must be new. For example you can use your figures or old customs. It can be done in any format: picture, drawing, crafts, etc as long as it is a recreation of your selected cover or panels. Photoshop is ok. If you have more questions about this please ask. 5.) 13. Congrats everyone! Agreed, that was fun, good job Geo!
  14. The best use for a spare Vigilante Spider-Man body I've seen so far.
  15. I call shenanigans! What proof do we have that your yellow minimate is in fact 50% translucent? The entire lower body is cut off and the left hand is not shown. That would make it 7 out of 15 parts* translucent or only 46.666666%. One could even argue that the lower half of his left arm is not fully shown either and may not be translucent. However that fact is not needed since we're already below the 50% threshold, just like the fact that the torso and head make up a majority of the mass but we're going by parts not mass so ignore this whole sentence. I know what you're thinking, the torso is translucent so the waist peg must also be translucent making the waist translucent as well. But look again ladies and gentlemen; these minimates have no waist pegs!! Clearly they are held together by magic. And as you all know, magical figures have to be less than 50% translucent otherwise we would have had a fully translucent Scarlet Witch by now. So in conclusion: 46.66666666%, magical, Scarlet Witch! *15 parts: head, torso, upper right arm, lower right arm, right hand, upper left arm, lower left arm, left hand, waist, upper right leg, lower right leg, right foot, upper left leg, lower left leg, left foot
  16. Stretch Punch Mr Fantastic & Puppet Master
  17. I'm trying to stay optimistic, but if this ^ goes down, I'm walking out.
  18. "The backhand heard 'round the alternate dimensions"
  19. ^you never know, he's always been a fiesty one
  20. *MinimateMultiverse takes no responsibility or liability for any broken laws, damage or general mayhem caused by this contest Photoshop allowed?
  21. How about the actual game, how is it, pros/cons, what do you guys think about it? Yeah, I can read the reviews on IGN but I want to know what reactions you had and more importantly your kids. My kids have been asking non-stop for this game (ages 9 & almost 7) but we're on the fence about adding it to Christmas list (along with WiiU). *so PS3 or Wii/WiiU version
  22. Iron-Cow has some DC ones & Doctor Who (heartbreaking, I know). If you scan through some of the old Marvel wave threads you'll see a few scattered here and there. Also Google search can be your friend. On the old Art Asylum website the gallery used to have a bunch of the control arts from different waves too. I would imagine there are a few members here who have saved most all of the control art seen online over the years .
  23. Ok, this should be getting better now. Be sure to check out the tags on the posts; they'll help a lot. For example check out this classic review, if you click the tag for mw16 you'll get all the sets for that wave. Same thing for the tags like Hulk or Avengers; all sets with those related characters will show up. I know they're not perfect, especially with the way characters bounce all over to different teams but I tried to go by a core "this is what the character is mainly known for" or at very least the related team for that pack. Essentially finding groups/waves/etc should be much easier (except for those TRU/LCS crossover figures/sets; still working on those; god bless MMDB as a cross-ref for that!). You want all the Marvel variant reviews? Baammm! all the Marvel variants! All Marvel Movie figures reviews? ... magic!! A lot of the classic reviews are on the new site now. I'm still working on transferring a few of the Marvel waves and then we'll get Trek & BSG moved over too. Speaking of reviews: New Review Best Of Daredevil & Venom
