  1. Sometimes Hasbro utterly confuse me. I *just* bought a NECA T800 to make myself a dodgy quick custom Pretty Boy when Rektangular leaked that PB would be part of an upcoming X-Villains box set. I just assumed that he'd be a new head sculpt on an old Ultron body... But this looks like a brand new torso sculpt (and possibly new leg sculpt)? Don't get me wrong, I like how comic accurate the chest looks, but I can't think how it's going to be reused to get more money out of the buck? And it boggles my mind that a D-list villain is getting this kind of tooling when people like Jean Grey can't get an accurate head sculpt in the animated line. Anyway - I'm pleased to see that some of the more fun Rektangular are looking like they'll be true. We can always use more villains.
  2. Ooooph - the new Select Blade looks badass! 😍
  3. Tatterdemalion (Arnold Paffenroth) is a supervillain with gloves coated with a chemical solution that dissolves paper products, such as dollar bills. Created by Tom Sutton, the character first appeared in Werewolf by Night #9 (September 1973). What an oddly specific power! Thanks for the hook-up, @Chooch. Rather embarrassed to say I've never heard of him before.
  4. Oh nice! I should have known it was someone from here! Beautiful work.
  5. oh WOW! They are not messing around! They're whole account is 🔥
  6. @DSTZach - With the HasLab Engine of Vengeance loosing supporters by the day, are there any plans to rerelease Mephisto with that sexy throne accessory?
  7. I'm not so sure how many people in this forum have been following the latest HasLab, but it's been something of a rocky ride. Some comments here about the plans for the tiers being rearranged a bit, missing underboob, and the likelihood of unreleased tiers being released if the HasLab fails to launch. While there's some corporate speak and face-saving, it's actually the most direct and open I've seen the Hasbro team.
  8. Ah! good catch. I totally missed that. That's probably for the best, because now it can potentially be used on other DD minimates too!
  9. THIS is the JRJR Typhoid Mary I remember! 😍 I'm loving the 'radar rings' effect with Daredevil. Are they attached to the helmet, or do they slot in under the head on the neck post?
  10. Back with ANOTHER team of c-list villains that no-one asked for: I'm probably breaking the rules a bit here since there have been so many line-ups over the years (many of which included more than 6), but I'd love an Acolytes team pack. Almost any line-up would work, but in my mind it would be Exodus, Cortez, Cargill, Unuscione, Javtiz, & Senyaka.
  11. This is such a good looking wave. I'm loving Kate's bow.
  12. I feel like Venger and his horse count as two. You can see the lower torso piece next to them to make them separate figures. And I suspect that Dungeon Master and whatever his little clear piece is will count as one figure. Looking at the amount of plastic on the villains side, it seems pretty equal to what's on the heroes side. I'd wager that what they've shown is the whole set.
  13. Sunday! That means I have to wait till Monday 😭 Sometimes I hate living in the future.
  14. oh wow - they like they stepped right out of the cartoon! The little unarticulated Dungeon Master is a good way to keep him at the right scale.
  15. Oooooh - I'd be down for an X Club.... especially if they packed in wings for Danger. White Queen and Jean Grey are pretty big anchors, surely? I'm definitely down for more Hellfire club, but i'd want the more colourful versions of the mens outfits. None of this borwn on tan.... Give me fuchsia jackets, green leggings, teal waist coats, etc...
  16. If @Mnemosis were around any anymore, you'd receive a standing ovation for this suggestion ❤️
  17. This is SUCH a cool idea for a competition! And it *looks* like it's open to everyone? (thinking of my fellow non-US citizens here)
  18. Back again with another set that no-one asked for: The Nast Boys! (art created by BeefcakeBoss)
  19. I would LOVE some Gen X minimates... but I'd have to have Penance and Mondo and the team in their Bachalo era costumes.
  20. I love the attention to detail; the tacky former sticker residue and half ripped off sticker are brilliant and remind me of my university days working in a book store / video rental library. I'm sure different stores had different practices. We would have stickers on the outside of the box to denote price, genre, rental length, etc... and then stickers on the cassette/dvd itself with the store's logo and information in case they were lost/stolen.
