Box sets are the way to go. They can focus releases around teams, groups(i.e. Gotham police), and storylines ala Marvel sets. Huzzah!! (cross fingers and pray to the minimate gods)

Nice pic. thanks for the heads-up. I don't know if anyone noticed, there is a Secret Invasion box set listed right below. They use a promo art piece for the picture. Very interesting.

Saw it twice now ....AWESOME!!!! Heath Ledger's Joker= Hannibal Lecture with guns and bombs. Incredible. Next villian Mr. Freeze, suit could be like an iron lung to keep him alive. Cryogenics research could be reworked into a weapon for revenge(watch BTAS: Heart of Ice). Could use Freeze's salvation and redemption to mirror Batman's(from this movie).

My thoughts are that since Mattel already puts stuff in retail stores, DCD probably keeps to the LCS/ specialty stores. What I don't get is that Mattel is already putting out JLU figures, and now this new 4" line is coming to retail. I don't know, I resolved to just keep customizing DC characters on my own. To hell with DCD!!!! :biggrin:

These are on Diamond previews list for this week, no BSG Razor mates though. It seems like previews is a week behind, some comic stores got these last week. Is this a west coast/east coast thing like Marvel?

Diamond previews doesn't have anything listed for July 2.

What he said. :biggrin: So these only showed up in comic book shops, but not online? No one has them listed as 'in stock', that's weird. Oh well hopefully this week + the BSG mates. Ouch my wallet.

I talked to Chuck @ WW Philly, he said if DC doesn't do minimates anymore, they could do them if DC gives appproval they're in charge of the license. But I wouldn't hold my breath, it could take months or years.

DST has a photo of wave 23. Rhodey is the variant. Also they announced the line-up for wave 24- Spiderman & Shocker Cosmic SM & Transformation Venom "Back in Black" SM & Kraven w/ Tarantula the variant no pics yet, but they said there will be extra pieces to make extra mates(i.e. the Avengers and Iron Man sets) can't wait for the pics

If you can't get this in stores or ebay, fisherprice.com has it for six bucks.

It is clear that Minimates, not fat-bottomed girls make the world go 'round. very nice.

does anyone else see a super easy psylocke custom from this figure? I DO !!!!! Plus the double sided face. We need more of these for multiple expressions.( SM3 MJ would have been cool with a smile)
