AoA Jean was a major want just to keep with X-force....of course, i'd need more than just Fantomex and Deadpool, but still. She was a sharp figure all on her own. White Phoenix i'm scared won't make it, but i'll be honest: i'm glad it's White Phoenix. If it had been classic or Dark Phoenix in her shoes, i'd be really pissed off. Speaking of, i hope when they get to classic and Dark they get new headsculpts. Not too thrilled with White's. 90s Jean is absolutely on her way and i can't wait. Hair could be a bit redder, but she's close to perfect. Cannot wait for my Thunderbolts to arrive this week. Bit the bullet and went the eBay route. Figure it's a $100 set, plus shipping, plus tax, so i might as well pay a slight premium to not sit in front of my laptop and play the Hasbro game just to miss it (or worse, use my phone at work to do it.) The set is one of my most anticipated releases of the year, and Moonstone can't get here fast enough.

But look at the rest of him. Those thighs are tree trunks, his chest is a barrel, and he's tall. If you want THAT Thor, he'll need bulky parts all over. Same costume but by Jerome Opena for Avengers: Pretty proportioned there.

Chuck, we all love you and the team. Keep doing what you're doing, because you're doing it right.

That would look really disproportionate. Thor doesn't have a super muscled physique or anything, he's just big all over. Big arms would look really, really off.

That is more in-line with exactly what i'm thinking. Corrupt JARVIS (or Coulson since i'm still putting money on the LMD/Vision thing) takes over an IM armor and makes modifications like the helmet; i could see it being a mix of Annihilation and Classic armor. Tony making Ultron would completely retcon the entire point of IM3. The Hawkeye news is the best news ever. Not sure it confirms Renner, but any more Hawkeye is good Hawkeye.

These two are pretty damn incredible. Movie Winter Soldier looks leagues better than the current Legends Soldier. And new Black Widow is so wonderfully stunning. Great year for Hasbro, even without AoA Jean and Phoenix Cyclops.

They both are. Superior is Octopus. He's had a few costumes. Looking at better pics, Widow might need a new face. Not "pretty" enough for Nat. But that's no big deal, I've got plenty of extras lying around. Hawkeye is still too cool.

Not that i've heard anything about him being THE main character (Iink please??)...but Logan is the main character in the comic. I'm not sure why that would be a reason to lose interest, if anything any other film where Logan was the main character is far worse than this. But again, i've heard nothing other than him having 2 time period costumes, which means nothing.

Love the new Laras, so happy DST isn't just considering them but doing them. Aviator Lara is my favorite. Skeleton Himiko is awesome too. Such a great line.

Mockingbird? Or Songbird?? ZEMO! Boomerang! Red Skull!! Major T-bolts and Cap villain love this year. Hoping for Movie Winter Soldier today.

This is either really good, or horribly bad awful news. Now, wait, what the hell happened to Thanos.

Ripley?? Are movie Minimates still considered parody? Weaver doesn't sign off on ANY figures depicted as war toys with guns. Curious.

New Batman logo is interesting. As a very outspoken supporter of Man of Steel...I don't have much faith in this.

So, Zach Snyder confirms it's not Superman/Batman. It's Superman vs. Batman. For fuck's sake.

Superman/Batman was one of my favorite books when i was growing into comics. Supergirl made Michael Turner my favorite artist (RIP!) and i loved that wackiness of the With a Vengeance storyline, but i missed the DCD figure. He's got a speical place on my shelf! Aquaman is just JLU to me! The others are just breathes of fresh air after the pretty weak points of the past year. Finishing strong.

Not minimate news, but more (depressing) Legends coverage: White Phoenix, AoA Jean, Heroic Hawkeye, and Bulldozer all moved to "not happening" unless they can fit them in a movie wave. I guess DST was right; it's impossible to do the Wrecking Crew. But, on the Mattel side, Ra's! Ocean Master! Batzarro! Doomsday(s)! Ice! Connor Kent! 90s Aquaman! Arkham City/Origins continues! MICHAEL KEATON! Sea Hawk! Horde Troopers! Blue Stan Lee...? And the most badass Ozymandias i have EVER seen. SUCH A GREAT CON.

Yep. Rebranding the line into movie tie-in lines, more in line with IM3 and Wolverine Legends. Possibly not a bad idea, with 4(?) films next year, and they have the potential to deliver worthwhile characters. I'm pretty disappointed by cancelling Phoenix Five Cyclops. That figure looked incredible. They cited it's because the costume is out of date...but so is the Bianchi one they're releasing. I just hope all 3 Jeans and both Hawkeyes make it out. Sentry and Iron Fist just got pushed to the grey area like the Epic Heroes wave. Sad.

I'm curious to see the mystery figure. Assuming they won't show it if it isn't unlocked. Yay for Quetzalcoatl! Definitely helps me want to pledge...but i was hoping he'd be able to be purchased separately.

Satanna, minus the cape. She's exclusive to the SDCC T-bolts set, and chances are she's the one who won't get rereleased. Moonstone also looks gorgeous, just a tad less. I keep putting off buying Ultron. I want to finish Monger...but i just hate the look of that figure.

That IS the factory mass-produced figure. Opened set from SDCC starting tomorrow, just a night early. That's why i'm so impressed.

The Newsroom is back and once again i feel smart as hell watching it. God i love this show.
