  1. ? BBTS= $28.99 for a set with variant Sci-Fi Genre= $36.39 for a set with variant
  2. I just noticed that the 'shirtless' version they show has green hands, while the 'robed' shows flesh hands? Maybe that version includes multiple hands? More accessories = more $$$ to produce = variant? The 'classic' version doesn't appear to have rings at all?
  3. Luke, I hope that doesn't screw up your pre-orders too badly. The ones I ordered from your store are for the Dreadnaughts, so I don't care which Mandarin I get.
  4. NICE!!! Congrats on a well-deserved victory!
  5. Thanks gents! Good eye on the X-Force Wolvie, Sam! I got stuck with quite a few of him when I created my Hydra army, and I thought he would be useless, but I'm finding lots of uses for the various parts on that figure. Civilian Blaze is just Champions Ghost Rider with a new head/hair. Civilian Ketch, I'm just not 100% happy with yet and will probably revise tonight. Modern Ghost Rider is probably my favorite one I've done so far. - Switched out the leather jacket for the 'other' T-800 leather jacket. - Added Chun Li's bracelets on each arm - Used the smaller fireballs from the Champions Ghost Rider. - Switched the flame hair back to the Champions version instead of the Invaders. Classic Fury is really simple: Head - Wave 12 Nick Fury Hair - TRU Stretch Attack Mr. Fantastic Gun - Silenced pistol from 24 Box Set 1 All of the rest - Wave 35 IM 2 Happy Hogan Ben Urich...I cheated... The glasses are from one of the Rocky Adrian hairpieces, I cut them out and glued them to a Jack Bauer face. I think the hair is Wave 24 Peter Parker's hairpiece, but not 100% sure. The rest of the suit are various pieces cobbled together from other 24 characters. 90's Blaze is Head - Wave 24 Shocker Hair - Wave 24 Transformation Venom Jacket/Arms - Wave 31 Multiple Man Chest/Fireball - Champions Ghost Rider Belt/Legs/Shotgun - Series 1 T-800 Combat Armor Blade uses the retail Blade as a base, but I changed these: Jacket - TRU Ex. Wolverine Origins Gambit Gun - TRU Ex. Terminator 2 SWAT Officer Sword - G.I. Joe Movie Snake Eyes, a little out of scale but I like it. Arm cuffs/Leg cuffs/Chest/Feet - Wave 29 X-Force Wolvie Punisher Head/Wrist cuffs/Feet - Wave 29 X-Force Wolvie Hair/Jacket - War Zone Box Set Frank Castle Arms/Hands/Chest/Holster/Knife holder - Wave 9 Assault Punisher Legs/Belt - TRU Ex Terminator 2 SWAT Officer
  6. SPIRITS OF VENGEANCE!!!! [Quick Customs] Civilian 70's Johnny Blaze and 90's Dan Ketch 90's Johnny Blaze Updated Modern Ghost Rider
  7. Sweet, I'm going to get an extra to custom into Frog-Man!
  8. Yes, speaking as someone whose mother survived breast cancer in the 80's, it can be done. Remain positive and do whatever you need to to keep your daughters from seeing how scared you are. Try to find a way to not let your mind drift into the negative, as hard as that may sound. Your family needs you to be a rock right now. If you need to vent and let off frustrations/fears, we're here for you as handsomedevil said.
  9. Congrats winners!!! and many thanks to Punisher and Luke for throwing this shindig!
  10. Love it or hate it, there is one "thing" we can agree on, thank god our addiction doesn't look like this! : I saw these at TRU last night when on a Minimate Hunt. That is SUPPOSED to be Liam Neeson from A-Team, it was so bad I had to take a picture with my cell. He looks like a mentally deranged Al Bundy.
  11. LOL, that quote was just the first thing I thought of when I read your post and it made me laugh! It must have been subliminal from Blacksun's sig!
  12. Dr. Peter Venkman: No. Walter Peck: And why not, Mr. Venkman? Dr. Peter Venkman: Because you did not use the magic word. Walter Peck: What is the magic word, Mr. Venkman? Dr. Peter Venkman: [looking surprised] Please! Walter Peck: May I *please* see the storage facility, Mr. Venkman?
  13. Do we have a list of MMMV contest rules posted anywhere? I looked through the various threads, but didn't see one. I have an idea for a contest with some nifty prizes, but before posting I'd like to know if there are any pre-established guidelines.
  14. Cool, will do! Posting my modern Ghost Rider QC in here for posterity's sake (and so I remember what I'm currently working on!)
  15. DST made the "damaged/half arm" for one of T2 releases, so it's possible that they could do a similar alternate arm piece to make Dr. Connors. But if that were the case, I think they would have made human Connors the standard head with a Lizard slipover mask.... but they didn't... so we aren't getting that.
  16. Thanks! No, those are clear Lego dish pieces I got on Bricklink.com. If you aren't familiar with Bricklink, it's an unofficial Lego site that people can buy/sell individual Lego pieces. I've made many purchases on it, and it's sellers are very reliable. The pieces I use are listed as "Trans-Clear Dish 2 x 2 Inverted (Radar)" and "Trans-Clear Dish 3 x 3 Inverted (Radar)" The 2x2 are smaller than the 3x3, but sometimes don't provide as much stability with larger 'mates or 'mates with big hairpieces. That's my OCD kicking in...
  17. I see what you did there... But yeah, RRR was an amazing gaming experience. What things (if any) would you change for the next one? I would like to see more complicated treasure maps, but I thought it was great how they handled that. Maybe it was just me, but when I was in the snowy forest area, I kept thinking how cool would a random Bigfoot encouter be? Same with Mexico, they could have added a rare Chupacabra for the skinning hunts. Sure it would have been out of context with the game, but still would have been fun. I doubt they'll do it, but I would LOVE for Rockstar to develop a futuristic sand box game, set on a different planet. Just think, flying cars, laser guns, jetpacks, weird aliens! They would finally have freedom to do whatever they want without having to stick to a set location/time period/etc.
  18. I think you're going to have a tough time doing good QC's of Harry Potter characters without a some decal/paint customization. There just aren't enough production parts that match up. If DST were to get the license though, Luke's Harry and He Who Musn't...*shrug*...Voldemorte look amazing. If you absolutely have to QC without painting and decals, I'd say start with the Lord of the Rings line and work from there...You might actually be able to get a nice Sirius Black QC started with Aragorn...
  19. Yeah, I just read about it online. This guy details it all out pretty well. I would be really pissed, especially at that price. MFG defects are easier to handle at $6.99 a 2-pack!
  20. Ouch, that sucks. Where is the damage on the figure?
  21. Looks great Luke, but get that guy home before one of your co-workers knocks him over or something!!!
