At best, I'm a casual watcher of the show, mostly Xmas specials and the "big event" shows. But my parents love it, so do most of my friends, and most of my friends kids so it's probably got one of the broadest appeals of any franchise going. Heck, if I showed my Nan 3 minimates: one Spider-Man, one Iron Man, and one a Dalek, you bet your ass she'd recognise the Dalek before the others. It's very iconic, especially for us Brits, and I cannot believe these wouldn't sell all across the World. Just look at the Time Squad stuff for something similar, they even had them in my local supermarket and they sold out. With the success of the Marvel army builders, and the new Doctor arriving, this is the perfect time to announce something like this. Can you imagine Cyberman & Dalek army builders!!! Even those potatos in armour looking things (someone help me out with the name, you know what I'm talking about!).

Yeah I'm certain we'll get a redone FF, with that Ben Grimm that was in the secret wars poll, and the bad guy will be moleman leading to the moloids (is that seriously what those things are called!! ) as army builders. My guess is: Reed & Susan Johnny & Moleman Thing & Moloid Ben Grimm variant & Moloid Anyways, went a bit off topic there. For me Lizard is a major want, although God knows what sort of Spidey variant they'd package him with... Toad out of those listed is a "meh" for me, don't really care much about the character at all. Would like all the others but Uatu would be really cool.

Great news on Lizard. I thought we asked about the "no ghost" logo being made into a minimate and we got a "no!"? Hopefully they'll bring that one out if the next wave/boxset sells well and it will accompany Ray/Winston with a slime cannon.

I got the Polar Lights Ecto set off eBay a while back, it's the GB2 version. I haven't assembled it yet, but the scale of it is perfect for the minis. Only problem is the doors don't open, which I'm going to work on hopefully without ruining the kit. Unfortunately it's been years since I've put together a model and so I'm really putting it off. Gonna wire it up for lights too, so need to get them. Rest assured, when I have completed it I will post pictures on here. So expect pics in about 2012.... :biggrin:

That Red Ranger is great. For the Green Rangers "chest shield" you may want to try the piece that goes around the neck of the scrull and then add to it. I can't even describe how crazy I would go if DST got the license for MM Power Rangers!

That's strange - those were the only two sets I could find in the store, too... I didn't look too closely, but of the partial case I saw, there seems to be an abundance of the Egon/Captain set and the Venmak Vigo Set, and the Scolari Brothers sets might be short packed... Without seeing the case when it opened or knowing who had been thru to buy what, I can't be 100% certain... but when I got mine, there was only 1 or each of the courtroom fight sets... but 2 or 3 each of the others. nooooooooooooooo! As if it wasn't hard enough to get these in the UK, they've now possibly shortpacked the two most popular sets!!! Aargh. At the moment my one option is eBay, but i really begrudge paying about 100bucks after shipping for 4 2 packs.

I think you just answered your own question TM2 :biggrin: I'm in a similar boat with a load of my old Spidey stuff (90s figures) they take up a lot of room and they're up in the loft (attic to you US types ) so don't get looked at. I'm gonna bung them on eBay, I'll probably get little money for them, but they're taking up valuable room, especially seeing as my mini collection is growing.

That's going to be a great wave. It's about time we got a Mandarin! And yeah, anyone know how they got around the height restriction? I'm guessing it's because the legs qualify as a stand rather than an part of the figure. Clever DST. Also, great poster, let's hope they start selling them, been saying that for ages though.

There are more figures for them to make if needed. I would love to get a Ray and Winston with slime cannons, i'm sure they could also release some generic ghosts similar to the Washington Square ghost that looked nothing like it did in the movie. So maybe wave 4: Slime Cannon Ray/Janosz Slime Cannon Winston/GB1 Janine Pink Slime Covered GB2 Ray/Unpossesed Dana (and Oscar of course)lol Hard Hat Peter/Generic Ghost That way we get more of the supporting cast. However, I do reckon Wave 3 could be the last. Quit while they're ahead may be the thinking. Hopefully not though :biggrin:

Consider me hunting these on eBay aswell. They look great, and I really wanted GB2 Egon. Also, "Peter Venkman in his "World of the Psychic" ensemble - which of course includes his signature hairless cat!", what on earth will that cat look like in Minimate form?!

Saw these in the UK for the first time earlier. Had the army men set and the RC, Woody & Buzz set. The RC set was cool, even has a pull back motor in it. Didn't buy one though, I needed food more. Also, some cool Toy Story themed easter eggs and sweets etc in my local supermarket. Chocolate Buzz similar to a chocolate Santa at Xmas. Can't imagine you'll get most of the stuff in the US as not sure how you guys do easter? Always figured easter eggs were a pretty British thing? If anyone wants me to pick some stuff up for cost & shipping for their kids (or for the big kids :biggrin: ), or wants more info, drop me a PM.
