But I agree, Sixth Sense was really nice, Signs had an interesting plot somehow, haven't seen Unbreakable yet, but the Paul Giamatti Movie - I really loved him in Sideways and American Splendor - was just terrible. And talking about the twist ending thing in the Happening: it wasn't a real twist ending at all, because (I guess by Mark Wahlberg, who usually sucks, except in I ♥ Huckabees.) Oh, and on a separate note - if I got it right - BHM will scan your post and talk about you frying people that defend Mr. Shyamalan. :biggrin:

  9. Hey, you made some really cool pics there. After reading your post, I just wondered how my personal ranking would look like, so I counted the pics I used from erverybody. Just for fun. Max Carnage: 6 Blacksun and Ivan: 5 VBPanizzi and ResurrectionBob: 3 MiniEspo: 2 NightViper, Godmagnus, Skullbuster and Jcastick: 1 So max is my hero!
  10. I used my laptop as a background for the videogame challenge (Bioshock) and for the Sentry Pic I used in my video link. That's a nice and easy way to add some special backgrounds, but it's hard to get a nice and warm light using it. I browsed all pics and made up a personal best-of, which you - if you like to - can view here. There are some awesome pics and I tried to come up with my personal favorite for each challenge. I also tried to comment on every pic I've chosen. Certainly I did not add any of my own pics in this hall of fame thing, so you're free to say, "Bob, your image for challenge #XY should definitely be added to this selection of pure awesomeness"! :biggrin:
  11. The two Godzilla movies I enjoyed most were "Son Of Godzilla" and "Godzilla Vs. Gigan". I think I saw both of them when I was around 10 years, so of course, I really was into monsters! I really liked the mantises in the first one - there is this scene, when three or four of them play with Godzilla's egg, which I really loved - but were a little afraid of the giant spider Kumonga. The second one features one of my favourite allies, "Angilas". There is this scene at the end of the movie, when Godzilla smashes King Ghidorah and Angilas uses his spiky carapace and kinda drives against the three headed beast. I loved that sequence! Yay, Angilas! :biggrin:
  12. Yay! I made the 4th place! Congratulations to the other winners! I just started browsing the pics and there are a lot of images I really love! (especially Ivan's No-Go-Area (!!!), Max Carnage's Dressed-Up Pic and VBPanizzi's video game stil!) Well done! Hej, I don't want to offend you, but you only completed 10 out of possible 30 challenges, so it isn't said, that the ones you did were terrible. If you try to get as much of them as possible next time, you won't be 17th best! I sign that! Probably in my Top 5. We'll see, I'm still browsing. And of course: Thank you very much for the credit T!, so if you like to watch, here's my mate's commentary on the Hunt! :biggrin:
  13. Man, I'm really looking forward to see all of your pics! Especially the ones that might ask for some artistic arrangements (like #2, 9, 16, 19 etc.)! And the dressed-up-like-your-mate challenge! And maybe there are some cool links posted as well! After seeing the few teasers already posted, I'm sure there'll be some really awesome images! (enough exclamation marks!) I'm glad that you'll make it at latest on monday, 'cause tuesday I will go on holiday for a week. Bad thing is, for me living in another time zone, I'll most likely be asleep when you guys start cheering for the winners. And on a separate note, I join vbpanizzi applauding TBT! for all the work he has put into this amazing contest so far!
  14. I would love a Falcon Minimate as well, and apart from the West Coast Avengers (whose members were pretty much all "regular" Avengers at some point, anyway), I agree with you. I don't need any "Young," "Ultimate," or "Kids of the" Avengers in my collection. You can count me in here as well - although I really like the Ultimate Thor desgin - I'd definitely buy a Falcon!

  16. That is anything but a "bad attempt of translation"! Maybe "Umsetzung" is more like "realization" and I guess "umwerfend" is a bit more enthusiastic tahn amazing, like "awesome" or "mind-blowing" might fit better.
  17. That's a very nice idea, maxcarnage! I'd have done that, but since I'm a total newbie here, everybody seems to be an honorable old timer, so I just went for a pracical name to complete that challenge. Anyways, we have some multiple votes for buttheadsmate and maxcarnage and a few single suggestions for several other names, soooooo?
  18. Well, crap! I'll have this song in my head for weeks! And, on topic, heroes mighty be pretty cool, but i guess I'd buy Futurama Mates without hesitation! (Altough I am more into the Simpsons, I guess I'd prefer the Planet Express crew as Minimates much more.) Like: Fry - Bender Leela /w Nibbler - Dr. Zoidberg Hermes - Prof. Farnsworth All with nice accessories and gadgets. We also have to get Amy in there somewhere, but she can't be a chase, because - check this out, this is really awesome - as chase, we'd get this exclusive Hell Bender Mate!!!!!!!111 :biggrin:
  19. And a nice one, too! My first suggestion for the challenge itself was karamazov80 - not to be mistaken for "karamazoff" - but my idea of emulating it was hard to realize or that is to recognize. (At least with my cell phone camera not being able to do real close ups...) But I ended up arranging the same idea with , which - hopefully - went very well! So my suggestion is one of those two. Or buttheadsmate, just to follow the crowd.
  20. Jenny, if my GF also COLLECTED toys like you do......I would propose to her....lol!!! I must admit, if my girlfriend were into mates - or even "pieces of all shapes & sizes" - I'd be a litlle afraid of our home getting much too nerdy.
