Apparently, the timeline for Springfield, IL went like this: I call Monday looking, no love. Mates go out Tuesday. I call Tuesday, nobody has any clue. I call Wednesday, Ditto. I call Friday before I drive home, no clue. Somebody buys all of the Iron Man packs. I show up and find one empty peg and all the Hulk ones. I am a very sad Panda. The guy I know who works there says they'll be back in stock in a little bit, but it's still annoying

Yeah, not meaning to be shameless, but look in the trades section someone *ahem* got a large number of P2 Ryu/Akuma sets because the seller misrepresented them, if people need em for collection building or whatnot.

Not enough? Seriously, around 200. Mostly Sci-fi and boxed sets, though I am slowly getting into comic book mates because I can read comic books again without getting fed up. Also, the Iron Man movie made me REALLY want Iron Men All time Favorite: Dead Pegasus Six. She's just amazingly well done from an artistic and design standpoint. It doesn't hurt I'm a huge BSG fan though Second Favorite: Probably Shirtless Sulu because we always used to joke about him when I was a kid growing up. We nicknamed a store "Sulu's intimate apparel" and we made jokes like "Free pointy sword and bottle of veggie oil with each purchase". Obviously, there are contenders for that throne though, I think the War Machine Variant coming up might be a contender if it turns out as well/better than the press photos. I also think Deadpool has a lot of potential, but the fact that DSTMatt said "No removable mask" in the last Q&A makes me sadpanda

Thinking about it, Bond would really only work well if they either had enough money to sink into it to do a TON of custom gear sculpts or if they decided to do vehicles (which have never gone over well the way I see it). I mean, I think they could get enough Iconic characters from both new and old Bond because other than Mr. Bond, enough of them have an iconic look that could easily be abstracted down into a mate while communicating a message. For example, they could do a 2.5 inch overscale, add a bit of silver to the mouth design and have a simple yet effective Jaws figure. A Blowfeld would be easy enough to do on the "clothing" paint alone because the only person in main stream film that looks anywhere near like him is Dr. Evil (IMHO). They are going to be hobbled with the plain looking Bond, which is why I think they'd have to make him good toys to make him neat to play with and pack him with a good mix of iconic characters. Look at what they are doing with BSG for example, there are a lot of characters there who just don't stand out unless you put them into context with a cylon or a colonial uniform or whatnot.

I understand why you British guys wouldn't wanna eat international shipping (now that it's in over there), but why not grab stuff like this off BBTS if you didn't want to wait? I know they've had the set in stock since it came in and they ship internationally. Is there something I'm missing? Am I a bad person for ordering from BBTS?
