Not sure what the hold up is on these guys? I walked into my local dealer here.. and he had a ton of them on pegs.. oddly enough and that was last week. I have to say that I was really suprised! I hope you guys get yours soon!

I am in the same boat as you.. started to get the minimates when the very first waves came out.. and I could buy them at stores.. then they all vanished.. and like you I stopped getting them for a few years.. until this year actually. Hopefully they don't make us walk the plank here for it! LOL. I am colletcting the BSG mates.. and continuing with the Marvel Mates as well! Well hi from a Newbie to another Newbie! Matty

Hi everyone.. just wanted to think of a catchy title to introduce myself with here. Well I have to say that I hate minimates.. no clue why I am even of this site.. can't stand the little plastic guys.. trying to look like characters from movies or comics.. or tv shows. They should all be melted back down to plastic bottles.. or something more useful.. door stoppers perhaps! Kidding of course!!! What can I can say about them.. they are rather addicting! I started of getting them in the early days.. when the marvel waves 1-3 came out.. then there was the LOTR waves.. I picked those up and for some odd reason fell off the band wagon. I have sadly missed out on some great minimates. Then one day happened to come into an awesome toy store for collectors and kids called Toy Traders... amazing store.. set up more like a museum than a store.. with complete dioramas.. amazing store.. and while browsing for Star Wars stuff ( my first addiction ) I came across some Cylon singles.. reaching out for me.. as if to say.. "By your command, you can buy me!" So I picked up some.. and a year later I guess here I am now.. still a lot behind... but catching up slowly! Ordered most of the BSG ones.. and now thinking of buying the DC ones.. and adding some more Marvel Mates to my collection.. which I unpacked the other day from moving a year ago. So needless to say I am back on the bandwagon! What else is there to say really.. I am located in BC Canada.. any other Canadian Minimate Collectors out there? Happy Collecting! Matty

I have to say like everyone else that this is an odd and shocking move. I have to say on a few notes here.. that I can't really understand why these mates would be coming to an end in regards to future waves coming out. I say this because DC has been releasing animated movies lately.. such as New Frontiers.. which I would think generate new interest in the DC Super Heroes.. for both young and old. We also have another Batman movie soon to come out.. as I type... the trailer is out there.. so what is DC thinking of stopping this line so early? There are still great characters to be made.. Poison Ivy, Mxyzptlk, the Riddler.. I mean I could go on and on.. but why end the line so early? Disappointing!

I am so glad that we are getting Muffit! I loved him as a kid.. robot dog.. what kid wouldn't want one! I wanted one as a kid when the original action figures came out.. The kid next door to us was a brat when I was growing up .. he would taunt me with his Muffit action figure.. I have one and you don't! So one day I went over to their yard.. and swiped his Muffit action figure from the lawn when they were out.. I was 4 at the time.. what can I tell you. Though I was made to give it back.. but now I can happily say I well have my very own Muffit of my own.. like.. 28 years later lol! With Caprica getting a pilot episode.. and hopefully a series.. I wonder if we well see Daggits in that series.. since it takes place when Adama is younger.. not sure though if he is young as in kid young.. or young as in newbie pilot young. With this show.. we should get more.. vintage looking minimates.. assuming they make some based on this show... episode. I think it will be like how the new BSG was.. a 2 hour movie.. if it catchs on.. make it a series.

Just realized I typed Cyclon instead of Cylon.. my friends keep calling them that by mistake.. I am getting them to watch the series lol. Hmm maybe they will end up buying the minimates too!

Razor is worth watching and buying if you can! Hi to everyone this is my first post by the way lol. I was not lucky enough to see it when it aired on tv.. but rented it at my local video store.. and then bought a copy. There are some interesting developments in the show.. I watched the unedited version.. Six gets around let me tell you.. guys.. girls! The cool thing is yes.. you do get to see the classic cyclons.. with a new CGI look.. but they are still similar to their old school look and ways.. and sound the same.. "by your command" with the moving eyes.. that make that cool sound. Apart from that.. you get to see some of the first war.. and there are a few scenes in there that are out of a Saw movie..when Adama is in that building.. after he crashes. Hmm no Lucifer.. lol! Aside from all of that.. I must apologized that I skimmed through this last page.. but I have seen a posted pic now of a second wave of Razor figures.. and they look good! Not sure though if any of these guys well come as singles.. meaning 2 packs.. back in the day I only picked up a modern cyclon.. and a gold one when they were released as single.
