For anyone looking for a particular set, TRU.com must have gotten one case in. Hopefully it isn't a phantom inventory item but don't be negative at me if it is or is gone.

This is going to be a fun set. I still have some nitpicky gripes looking at this final product. More weapons, no detail on legs except bands. Chest color mismatching. What can you do? But overall, I can live with them. And I'd normally hate the hole in Kidpool's head, but he's going to get the propeller thingie instead of Headpool. I want now!

Zach, I think you lost the support of the Kang Koalition. The Kang petition has been going on for years, it seems. Then the Gideon Gang comes up in one day. Unless Kang is part of that wave. Not like I care either way as long as more Spideys keep coming. I'm sure Firefighter Spidey is the start of a new Spidey line.

Well, I'm happy to report that the Betsy/Nightcrawler pack has officially sold out at TRU.com. Yesterday there was only 2 left. Today, gone. So it took about 3 weeks to sell through that boring set. Yeah, I've been keeping tabs on it just to see how long it would take to sell out. And I haven't even opened mine yet...

So any guesses on what the "slight modification to the usual package, all in Deadpool style!" might be? I'm thinking something to do with the Brady Bunch? full quote below (from AFX facebook comments):

Yeah, it sucks only because Dogpool isn't in the set. But I am still getting it! Does DST still have an unannounced Marvel 4-pack? Or is the zombies and Firefighter Spidey sets it? If they do have a 4-pack left, I'm saying Deadpool TTA.

Their little, tiny, eensy-weensy leprechaun swords. Can we retire that mold, please, and get a decent-sized katana? Kidpool looks to have the biggest sword compared to all the toothpick swords. I'm guessing he's the alpha-pool? And I just noticed that from the waist down, all the figures are the same (except Headpool and Kidpool's slippers). Would have been nicer to have some variance, but I don't remember if the costumes in the comics had much variation either.

I second that complaint! Dogpool couldn't have been hard to make, right? No Dogpool ruins the set for me. But finally this set has been made. This was a no brainer to do but I think the Deadpool ship has kind of sailed. I still like the set for the Deadpool and Kid Deadpool and Headpool. And umm... did the Deadpool Corps have something against guns? They sure like their swords. Hopefully this set will have lots of guns too.

Psyguy, your customs look GREAT! This is making me hate DST for not doing YA. I love all the little details you put on them. Especially that none of the YA's hands is a solid color. If you lived near me, I'd break into your home and just take those specific figures. :tongue:

I only got Detective and Action. Detective was good and I preferred that over Action (I like Batman more). I didn't know what to make of the ending. Not in a bad way, but in a wow, cliffhanger way. Action was surprisingly better than I thought mainly because I don't like Grant Morrison's writing. So this was the best Grant Morrison writing I ever read in that it didn't seem like the weird stuff I'm used to reading from him. But I'm still not sure if I'm going to pick up #2s or even stick through the first arcs yet of all titles I'm sampling. I'm leaning towards TPB later. Overall, keep up the momentum DC! You got this Marvel zombie very intrigued!

Who loves going to Walmart during off hours? I do! Seriously, so much easier to shop with less people. So yeah, there was Series 2 and barely any left. I got the IM mkV and the Drone. No Series 1 Spideys or Wolverine. :sad: And my Drone has two left thighs. Took me a while to figure out why I couldn't bend the right leg. And both left elbows can't easily bend. Not a great first impression of this line. These are fun little figures but they won't be replacing Minimates at all. I don't have the need to own them all and I don't need to keep their packaging and thus can save lots of space! But I don't think they are as cute as Minimates. Well, Red Skull looks pretty darn cute. Much appreciated for the heads up, Mattallica! I'll definitely be watching out for these figures!

I didn't know of these blind packs before. Now that I know, I may have to get some... TRU doesn't have these, right? Never seen them, at least.

I only have interest in the big name characters and plan to pick up their books just to read see their status quo myself instead of reading online summaries. But it'd be a hard sell to get me to pick up #2s of any of them other than JL, which was okay. Even then, I'm just waiting for Jim Lee to exit the book so I can drop it. But all this speculation stuff is almost making me to pick up titles I wouldn't want. And I have to stand back and think, why am I buying it if I don't particularly care for Batgirl? Yes, I get caught up in the speculation side sometimes and I have to curb that bad habit. Anyway, I'm a Marvel and I wish DC the best of luck in this bold endeavor.
