    seems like the negative feedback TRU has received on their(actually NOT theirs as items are sent via UPS to your local usps hub and then repostaged and sent out to your home via USPS) shipping service and the horrible condition items are received in due to the "bubble envelope" packaging. today i received 2 12"x 10" x 4" boxes each containing 1 minimate two-pack, now its over kill!

    this is a very common practice on most if not all toy lines, i guess DST just need to add that "final product may vary" line that most put on their packages to satisfy the folks that are easily upset by change.

    kind of a neat Mecha for Cap or an Avenger team this Transformers crossover Captain america i gave it a re-paint but its pretty well colored right from the package

    i was sent the wrong item, i had to return it, now i have to wait 3+ weeks for the returned item to be "processed" before they will send out the correct item,if they have any left in stock. they donot respond to emails and only barely to calls(the girl answers like she is asleep, then offers no assistance or information) ask to talk to someone else, the owner perhaps, and you are told "he doesnt talk to customers" ask about a refund and you are told "too bad". Im glad you have had better experiences with them but check out their feedback(wish i had) seems im not the only one whos had bad luck with them.

    be sure to check out some of my other customs on page 17 and before New customs 8/17/09 i just watched thenew DC DVD movie "Green Lantern : First flight" and had the extra Killowag body hanging around so i decided to make this "other" green lantern just for fun got my son a nintendo Wii for christmas and myself the Lego Batman game but didn't get around to play it until recently, a great game it inspired me to make some more DC 'Mates Ras Al Ghul Hush Not happy with the one from the new boxset heres my Weapon X wolverine 8/17/09 New Customs posted on page 20 Caps Hightech Ride so im not usually a big Transformer fan, but i do love Captain America and H1 Hummers so i pcked up this rig gave it a repaint an Voila! Ultimate Ironman as he appears in the animated movie ( I actually prefer this to the comics version) I did the same thing to the Marvel legends version a few years back another one inspired by the Lego Batman game Killer Moth I never liked the white suit Penguin we got, with his stupid grin and "floating" hat. so i chopped his head down a 1/16 of an inch and repainted his face and Tuxedo a More Savage looking Beast the ORIGINAL Ghost rider Terminator : the Sarah Connor chronicles Sarah Connor John Connor Cameron Derek Reese Cromartie Catherine Weaver ARNOLD! BTTF custom "Silence, Earthling! My name is Darth Vader. I am an extra-terrestrial from the planet Vulcan!" it's Marty! I really liked the show "The Land of the Lost" when i was a kid and even more so the Sleestak (lizard men) that were the villians in it, now i'm not talking about that Crap re-make in the 90's or the Will Farrel crap movie that just came out(although the sleestak look virtually the same in it) but the original, and i had a few extra movie Abominations lying around and got to thinking... Sleestak the one in Red is ENIK a smarter/friendlier version of the sleestak that would help the humans in the show

    Ill do my best they seem to fall between 1.5" - 1.75" tall depending on character and pose they make me think of the pieces from the "Marvel Heroscape"board game but are larger(see pic below) but about that same consistancy of plastic. Likenesses seem good and there is some nice detail, these could easily be painted up like metal miniatures for D&D and such and would look pretty nice, overall i like them and may look to pick up a few more packs to get favorite characters, thats another good thing the characters are easily(except the hidden one of course) identified while in the package so you can get ones you like or color. -M

    so i was walking through K-mart toy aisles tonight(yeah i lead an incredibly cool life) and i spotted this weird little pack of brightly colored marvel figures. they are called "handful of heroes" and are much like the M.U.S.C.L.E. figures(all be it a tad smaller) of my youth so i had get a couple packs just to see(like i need more things to collect) kind of expensive at $5 for a pack of 8 (7 regular and 1 "hidden" ) of these lil' guys but....... i actually got two hidden guys in one pack so i currently have 17 of these things. if anyone wants to trades duplicates id be interested. currently i have doubles of Cyclops and Magneto here is the complete list of 40 different figures( some characters appear in more than one pose and there are some odd character chioces included X-Ray from the U Foes?????? each are said to come in 3 colors Cyclops Nick Fury Beast Hawkeye Doc Ock Green Goblin Dr. Doom Mandarin Black Panther War machine Venom Nightcrawler Iron Man mk 1 Wolverine Thing Sabertooth Classic Hulk Abomination world war hulk gladiator hulk Magneto Colossus Dead pool Angel Iron Man Spider Man (crawling) Classic Iron man Spider man (standing) Captain America Spider Man (standing 2) Astonishing Wolverine Classic Wolverine Rhino Absorbing Man Iron Clad Armageddon Red Hulk Juggernaut Hulkbuster Iron Man X-Ray

    Anyone keeping a tally on the differences between Toys r us releases and their regular wave versions? i havent really looked into them much but noticed wave 23 war machine has the tops of his legs painted dark grey to make for a nice speedo while his TRU counterpart mearly has the t shaped crotch piece in dark grey. wave 25 Bucky-cap comes with black gun and TRU version is silver wave 25 Aim soldier comes with black rifle and pistol where as the ones with the TRU version are dark Metallic Blue Just to drive completists mad i assume
