I did not know that there was a manga version out, is it being carried by a major retailer? So registering went fine, the problem ended up being that there is no way to follow the link to the contest you mention. The link you use put me at a page where it said "you are not authorized to access this forum" Any answers?

I agree with Aapje on this one.... some span of time longer than a week would be courteous, though not so long as to drive the staff out of their minds, or at least not past the outer limits! ^_^ Or something like an auto pm that reminds you when your want/have is more than two months old? (Is that even feasible? I don't know...)

Ditto on the Salt Vampire!!! Its accesory could be the vial of salt tablets! Oooh this is such a warm fuzzy feeling inside, all this talk of Trek Minimates Klingons would be nice, especially if hoardes of them could be built up into conquering forces...it would be sad to have the commander with no-one to command. I would love to see some of the animated characters and villains come up, but I'd be happy for whatever!

If they made a new series with better cars maybe that would peak interest? As fun as the little car is, the minimates just don't fit in it very well. Poor Racer-X can't even fit under the steering wheel!

No basic airbrushing experience, I'm willing to see if its a route I would like to travel, but that also means I have no set preferences or skills! I was hoping to do general base coats for the figures, and then go back and do details by hand, maybe do decals. Fine detail work seems beyond the capabilities of airbrushing at this scale, but correct me if I'm wrong...

Hey guys! So here's the deal, I'm interested in customizing some minimates, filling them with love, sanding their hair down etc. etc. I was wondering if anyone out there has some tips/hard-headed notions/opinions/facts about a decent basic airbrushing system? For instance: Any preference between compressor vs. can of air? Brand of paint? Colors that will stain the equipment etc. Info that most guides just don't get into. But also, best place to get a set, any way they can be repaired. I'm hoping to be a good consumer, and I hope you guys can give me the info to do that! Thanks a bunch in advance, and Happy Holidays!!!

Yup! Those are them! I squealed like the fan-girl I am and stalked the auction till I got them. Glad you posted a pic, I don't think I happen to have one... Hell, someone here probably made them! There's quite a lot of talent between here and the MMHQ. But no officially licensed "Hellboy minimates" have ever been produced. Heck yeah to the talent here! I saw some of the staff's customs at SDCC, WOW!!! Of course up till then I didn't know you could cut up the sweet little plastic guys, a life changing revelation

Yeah, I was. It was a blast. You guys are hilarious. Not just comics, Hellboy just happens to be the one comic that I both collect and read. But as to the rest I'm basically grabbing up whatever catches my fancy, maybe with an eye to one day start customising, but other than that... Right now I'm enjoying the Star Trek releases, working on finding a varient Sulu...

Hmmmmm, no I do mean minimates. I guess I got lucky and got someone's customs. Could explain the odd lines under the paint on Lobster Johnson's chest!

So I was wondering when Hellboy minimates came out? Somehow I have them but I am really having a hard time finding any information on them, anyone know something?

Glad to be here! I've browsed a long time, finally saying hi! I've had minimates for quite awhile but it was at this years Comic-con that I was introduced to the wonders of the multiverse as well as minimate customization. Hope everyone has a wonderful Spock with santa hat filled Holiday season!
