thanks guys! i'm finishing up a guardians display right now. first time i've bought movie mates, but i figured i enjoyed it and have never read the comics so what the hell lol

i cannot wait for wave 60 to come out. it'll be nice to have official Banshee and Morph's, and of course Forge and Cecilia. I'm about out of room on the Avenger's display, though. i think i'm going to put a 4th row up top, and move all of the flyer's who aren't in the center up there. i thought it was kind of cool how i had the center row set up, and all but one of them are now in an upcoming movie.

i would say we def need a P5 Namor & Magik set. My custom P5 Namor looks fine, but my Magik is garbage. there are only 7 on your list, Cute Cult, that i would pass on or only buy if they came with someone else. the rest of them are must have for me. and maybe once we complete X-Force and get 90s X-Factor, we can start focusing on the other 90s darling, Generation X!

i'm not reading Spider-Verse, but i have read all of the promotional stuff for it, and seen the pictures, and it seems like a no brainer for a full minimate line. so many different, unique characters... Spider Gwen, Silk, SPIDER-HAM!, an updated Jessica Drew Spider-Woman, and updated Spider-Man 2099... the options go on forever. however, i am reading Axis, and even though it's not been great, there are actually a number of characters we could get from this set... White Magneto, Uncanny Cyclops, Rogue in her green hooded costume, updated Wasp, an uncanny Havok, Falcon Captain America, Enchantress, teen Loki, Kid Omega, Kid Apocalypse... those are just off the top of my head and really just thinking about who was at the first big fight, not going forward into inverted characters...

i had this Cable, but he mysteriously disappeared. it's disappointing, because that body would have been perfect for an X-Man Cannonball custom.

i love your TLC reference! when the ToyBiz Storm came out with that hair cut (and the same toy with long hair) i wanted to make custom TLC figures out of them!

as far as X-Men who have not been officially released goes, we have Cecilia, Joseph, Cannonball, Marrow, Maggot, and Sunfire. I made a really easy custom Cannonball using w10 Bishop body, an extra new mutants Cannonball head, regular white arms, and Rachel Grey's yellow gloves. Joseph and Cecilia (and animated Morph) will all be very easy to make once wave 60 hits. so that leaves Marrow, Maggot and Sunfire. I'd also like to see X-Men versions of Husk, M and Chamber, though I would much rather we get a Gen X set first. Since she's been in Amazing X-Men, i took Firestar and popped a red X-Men belt on her, and added her to the team. Oh! I would love to get an Omega Sentinel, too. other than that, there are characters like Mystique, Sabretooth and Lady Mastermind who served as X-Men briefly but quickly betrayed the team. And Lifeguard, Slipstream and Thunderbird III, who were mostly in X-Treme, though i know Thunderbird was introduced in X-Men.

got my set from Luke in the mail yesterday! holy crow that was quick shipping. I ordered them Sunday night! thanks a lot, Luke. the set looks great and I'll be putting in my orders for wave 60 soon!

Luke, I'm glad you think so! there are so few minimate characters with glasses, i think it would really help her stand out.

i'm so excited for this set, i've already rearrange my X-Men display to make room for the 5 new mates that will be joining it (although i only had to make for 3 of them since i have a custom Banshee and Morph). hopefully Luke is able to make a Cecilia Reyes w/glasses face for that custom.

Luke, what about a Cecilia Reyes face sticker with her wearing glasses? i think it would make a custom of her stand out much more than just snapping on a Storm head.

Will these stickers be available for separate purchase? I think I'm only going to be ordering 1 set, as I won't be displaying the Jubilee or Storm, but would like to use 1 of them for Cecilia Reyes. I will however need to purchase and extra Banshee and Wolverine set so I can make a Morph and Joseph.

that would be awesome, but I don't think it would really work for the guys. Chamber and Skin were just too different looking. I would love to see these, though, as Generation X was my favorite series from beginning til end, even though it got pretty bad after like issue 40. My dream wave would be. Jubilee & Synch Husk & Chamber M & Emplate Mondo & Penance w/mini Artie Banshee & Emma w/mini Leech

my comic shop got these in today. i picked up the Luke Cage/Iron Fist set and carried around the Spidey/Cap set for a minute before putting it back. i couldn't convince myself to pay 10 bucks just for Spidey, since the tru Cap i already have is so similar to this one. so, i'll be adding the spider sense Spider-Man to my wants trade list if anyone has an extra and needs something i have. http://www.minimatemultiverse.com/index.php?showtopic=10402&p=322991

oh i see. thanks for clearing that up, Zach. popped into my LCS today. They had the best of wave, but still no 59 (or GoG, or CA:WS). the dude said he thought they ordered them, but would double check. they really don't move too many sets there - pretty sure i may be the only one who buys them - so i'm actually surprised when they get any new ones at all. they still have a mostly full set of wave 50 from last year and whichever the recent set with Viper was.

i cannot wait for these to be released!

I'm curious as to why these sets seem to be so expensive when ordering from certain sites. Diamondselecttoys . com and TFAW . com both have them listed as $119.98... I'm assuming these are for the cases, but why no listings for just the full sets?

that's good to know, Zach. i was under the impression people had found wave 3 already. still, i wonder why no one has wave 59. things from another world got the alien mates in 2 weeks ago, but no marvel. i'll wait another week or 2, and then i'll likely just order from Luke.

ugh these and wave 59 have not shown up at any of the 3 stores that i know carry them in Portland, OR.

i'm pretty sure i'm the only person who buys minimates from my comic shop. and they often get in box sets like the last zombies and alpha flight waaaaaaaay after i've caved and bought them elsewhere. they still have all but one of the Songbird sets (i bought the one). so i'll definitely need to pick up my sets there cuz i'm worried they'll quit ordering them... but because i'll probably need doubles of the x-men suits, and based on the decals, maybe i'll pick my second set up from Luke, too.

i'm going to need extras, too! i remembered Cecilia, but forgot about Joseph. who else has worn it? Anyone?
