I am enjoying mine, but I also dislike the way the figures sit inside their boxes. The plastic shell they sit in is too high, so you can't look at the alien or predators straight on. I think having more window would help but I see why it has what it has. Also for the alien, his head is sculpted facing down. I have to constantly pick it off my desk for people to see it right. Then the predator has a permanent back arch and when I put his head down to his chest I messed up the paint on his face. Neither figure look good when viewed from straight ahead. The masked predator exclusive is very cool as well.

I bought a half off dutch and predator from tru the other day, and i liked them enough to leave them on my desk at work, Id like the aliens but I cant find that battle damaged gamestop alien, and I havent seen to others since before xmas. The ghostbusters are cool but already too many to keep up with. Ive only seen 2 guys at tru and no others yet. I am looking forward to the DC ones and several of the other lines though.Sure would like an Anti Monitor for the comic line.

I want these new classic turtles, But more than anything I want DST to finally learn some lessons from poor wave planning. Everytime we get something good going it gets canceled and most of the time you can pinpoint the poor decision that lead to the poor sales or cancellation. Not to be a huge downer but Ive got a running tally of this stuff over at the side and considering how the toy markets work, and retailer/consumer behaviors, and the fact that minimates are already so niche, it would be great to have any other line go past 10 freaking waves. Blind bags with no pictures on the bags of possible contents, army builders in a box set instead of blind bag line, godzilla in every damn box set when mecha godzilla would have counted as an anchor then add in some poor character choices, Civilians, civilians, and even larvae!. Your basic line plan for most long lines is four 2-packs, so you take half of that away and stick in 4 turtles in each wave so we get that many waves of turtles, then repeat the same damn side characters over and over instead of drawing people in with new characters like playmates has been doing for 20 years of success, you over saturate your limited niche releases with the same turtles and civilians over and over??? Then surprise sales didnt do well for some reason. And comic shops already cant compete with TRU, so why not make it harder on them and irritate the hell out of their customers with blind bags of the same crazy repetitive lineups and lose money on the comic shop orders because their customers can go pick the turtles they want from tru and even check for better paint apps. Im curious how many people would have bought 4 waves of turtle variants after getting their first set if they knew how DST was going to ignore more important characters that could have been made. I think the new classic turtles look great but the first though I had was that they would be canceled after those two waves. They may require less sculpting than the nick turtles but there is a history of this stuff that seems to happen way too often.

Has there been a definite reason why no more nick turtles and no more TRU turtles are a thing? The TRU backing out and allowing DST to focus on my fan requested characters, is that only going to be classic 80's turtles? how much effort is DST going to continue to put into classic turtles after those 2 waves? There is potential for more mutants with less sculpted parts, so I would hope there is more effort, but DST has done a great job in the last 2 years of canceling every non marvel line that reignited my original minimate spark and I can't say I like that very much.

I'm super excited about the DC vinimates, they look fantastic. I have a whole set of custom flash TV mates so having an official flash for my work desk will be great. I'll take what I can get that's not Gotham.

I did see new turtle sets yesterday with the construx label and cringed. And I remember mattel buying them out well before the turtle stuff was made, and was under the impression that they were the ones that moved the line forward. Their concept castle grayskull they showed off looked fantastic like the turtles stuff and while I generally dont support mattel anymore I do feel like they have been great with some of their lines. Also I had a roommate who bought the mega bloks halo stuff for years and I was buying some of their marvel stuff for set pieces with minimates. Mega bloks have always been substandard to me, bricks that cant stick together and fall apart for no reason. I havent liked mega bloks or been impressed by their sets/quality until I tried out a turtles set I wanted to use with minimates, and now Im so impressed with the turn around that Ive bought several, and I would LOVE that technodrome to go with my mates. However If that really was the old bloks crew responsible for that then I guess Ill be saving money again soon, but I really hope the turtles quality continues and the rangers are a crappy one off.

Just saw these in stores last night and was wondering if they were new mega blocks/mattel product. I don't think they are and really hope they are not a mega bloks rebranding. The packaging looks like cheap bootleg garbage and the figures themselves look like they are taking a huge step back from the strides mattel has made since they took over mega bloks products. The current TMNT line is fantastic and even the new products just now coming out feature the same excellent packaging and figure designs. These ranger products just dont cut it.

I seem to remember guardians of the galaxy being part of this license, but haven't seen anything else from that show at Walgreens. Curious...

Im really let down by the change to the prosthetic legs, but I am really digging these and still plan to get them. I have read any of the now books but I really like these designs. The space venom design is especially cool, but so are the rest!

Any word on when this series is going to TRU? series 4 got pushed to next year which sucks and halloween has already passed, I really want those witches and some extras.

So when are these supposed to hit tru? My local comic shops have started passing on most minimates and Tru is now my only real local destination other than one shop that has had most of the blind bag series so far. I need the rabbit and regular cat!

The other vehicles were 15 at comic shops and tru, the apc is the same size package as the different enterprises which were 30, tru really just offered it for a great discount.

I've yet to see these hit tru around here, I need the extra cats!
