The original images of her made the skirt look more like she had a big arse and crotch piece because there is no definition on the skirt. Once the figure is posed and not just standing it is more noticeably a skirt. Scareglow is an amazing figure especially his reliquary. Merman absolutely surprised me in his awesomeness. :biggrin: I had to send them to you because I have wanted to buy them for so long, but I do not need another toy line to collect so this way I got the best of both. Which ones did you pick up?

My biggest fear is that they will make the character of Hal Jordan have qualities of Kyle Raynor. Reynolds is a great actor, check out his more dramatic stuff like 'Definitely, Maybe' and 'The Nines'. I do not think Reynolds is Hal, he could be Kyle, but not Hal. To me Hal is a Cocksure kind of guy, he is a test pilot for the love of god. Not one person who is willing to get in an airplane that could explode is not an adrenaline junky or suicidal if not both. Maybe Jeremy Renner from 'The Hurt Locker' could be a perfect Hal. But no matter what I do not see a little waif of a girl being Carol Ferris. To me Carol is just as cocky as Hal because she has to run "a man's" business. BTW I am not saying I believe it is a man's business I am just saying what the typical perception is, no crucifixions please.

Me, too! I can imagine a lot of those creatures and plants and although it looked very impressive and very extraordinary and excotic, I see no "evolutionary use" for the split/double forelegs. That is one of the few I couldn't completely come up with a good reasoning or advantage of. The only reasoning I could think of was a defensive evolution to give them stability in a fight and/or a better ability to climb.

You did that just to show how amazing you are and how humble we should be. I do not appreciate that kind of phenomenal brilliance and am totally offended that you shared your greatness with us.

I know I am a late comer, but I have to say I loved it. I saw it today in Imax 3D and it was worth every penny. I agree it is a standard story, but I didn't watch it for the story. I watched for the visual eye orgasms. I was breathless with many of the visuals. Halfway through the film I actually turned to my wife and told her I wanted to see it again. I felt like a kid watching a magic show. I was totally amazed with the whole thing. This movie completely captured my imagination. I have spent hours already thinking of ways that would cause the evolutions of the flora and fauna. Mentally explaining all of the seemingly impossible sights. I rarely fall into a movie but this one...yeah I will stop. If you haven't seen it. Just watch the pretty pictures and allow yourself to fly on a Banshee.

Back to the point of this thread. The postal carrier just dropped off my instant collection of Masters of the Universe Classics. I got 10 figures and am now only missing 3 released characters. If you liked MotU as a kid these guys are phenomenal and should be picked up. They are sculpted by the Four Horsemen and typically come with around 3 to 5 accessories.

Punk was dead well before Hot Topic came about, but you can blame them for the mass emergence of Emo and Mall Punk.
