  1. Actually, it's pretty close to the comic version. That's the wonderful thing about the Justice League cartoons, is that they got the costumes right. The detailing on the face is what really would designate it as comic or 'toon... Personally, I think they did a pretty good job fitting it in with the comic line.
  2. For my 100th figure, I wanted to do something special. The Great Machine was originally going to be my 100th figure (Mayor Mitchel Hundred... Get it?) but I came up with a better idea... I loved Paul Pope's Batman: Year 100... Year 100, 100th custom... I absolutely love this figure. You can see it in the first post in purple, or right here at: http://thefmh.com/BatmanYear100.jpg Feedback is alway appreciated. Thanks.
  3. Okay... I'll revise my previous statement. I actually do prefer the fleshy tones to be cast. That does look better. The bodies, look better painted, but like Minivenom said, it does add to some hip problems. So, I guess I'm split.
  4. Actually, I prefer the fully painted figures. I just like the more uniform look to all of the colors as apposed to the shinier plastic/duller paint combo. So, you're not the only one that thinks about this stuff... You're just wrong
  5. I know I'm looking forward to it.... 'Course, I'm a pirate to me bones. Spider-man 3 on my birthday, then capping off May with Pirates 3: May 2007 might be the best month ever! (Yes, my "best _____ ever" comments do get thrown around alot. I'm easy to amuse.)
  6. RTM's Reveal is up: http://www.toymania.com/news/messages/9191.shtml I like them... I guess. I'm not sure that Sandman needs the big-chest, and Goblin looks... weird. Hopefully, the final figures will look better than these prototypes. Other than that, they're pretty cool. Tons of new stuff on Goblin, including his little flying snowboard - no vehicles, huh?
  7. Thanks for all of the comments, guys... Glad to see folks dig the Onslaught... Unfortunately, Yes. They're all spoken for. When's yours?
  8. Nice work Tenime. Hitman looks awesome. No idea who the new 'Former is, but he looks cool too...
  9. Yep. Got my case today. They should be at Comic Shops nationwide now... I've only opened up a Starbuck/Cain so far, but they're awesome. I love my little Starbuck...
  10. Thanks guys. It's always nice to get some feedback. The first production piece of Onslaught is now finished. One down, four to go... I've reworked him a bit from the original WIP that I showed earlier... I'm much happier with him now. You can see him in the first post, or right here at: thefmh.com/Onslaught.jpg Feedback is always appreciated. Thanks for looking. By the way, Onslaught here is my 99th original custom. Hopefully, my 100th should be showing up soon... P.S. I forgot to mention, but the circle on his chest and his eyes glow in the dark. It's something I've been playing around with it for awhile now, and it looks awesome on this figure.
  11. All of them look great Luke... Marvel is definately a shining stand-out to your portfolio. Super, super nice work there... How long did he take to paint?
  12. Man! Some quick costume touch-ups, and you could damn near have an Ultimate Sue there... Great idea Mini_Myte!
  13. Nice work all around Crippler. Can't wait to see that Morbius finished. It's looking pretty damn cool so far!
  14. No. It's not the Marvel Legends one that he's talking about. There was a wave of planned movie figures that included a Doombot, which never made it out in the movie line. It was released (barely) in the Fantactic Four "Classics" line.
  15. Echo and Ronin are also on New Avengers... I think. It's been awhile since I read the issue, but they were definately there on the mission... Who's the new Ronin? Mighty Avengers was alright... The thought balloons were really distracting, but BMB does what he does. And he does it well... I'll stick around for a few issues to see if I get sucked into this book. Probably as soon as Cho leaves, I'm done, though...
  16. Looking good Fujis... Love the designs for the Watchmen Minis. Did you see the Rorschach still in the 300 trailer? Looks pretty cool. Can't wait to see what you've got coming next.
  17. Yes... It takes a little bit of work, and the boil-and-pop method helps quite a bit, but I've seperated the knees with no problem in the past... Haven't done it with any for awile now, so I'm not sure if the newer plastics will work, but they should.
  18. I don't think the neck peg is longer. I just snapped the shoulders and head onto an IronMan that I've got on my desk, and it fits perfectly. Maybe it's just one of those odd misshapes that happens with the molds sometimes... I've got a case of Cyclops/Dark Phoenix figures that every single one of the upper left legs on Cyclops is messed up on...
  19. I think you mean: Not in continuity... YET!
  20. They come off. They're just a little stiff. Try holding onto the arm around the joint, and gently twisting the hand around. That should break the bond of the paint and you'll be able to remove the hand.
  21. Sweetness! I love 'em. Can't wait to get mine next week... Dualla looks great. I was worried about how she'd turn out, and not look "mannish" in the uniform. The detailing there really helps her out. Still don't care for the Admiral Cain or the variant Six, though... Just don't look right. Wait! What's going on with Six's hair? The variant one looks like it's down much further. Is the regular release figure just up high? Regular looks better, IMHO... And again... Looks like the right legs on the flight suit figures are different than the ToyFair Starbuck... TF Starbuck's got more detail than the regular release figures do... Odd. Weird tampo change for a convention exclusive...
  22. drgnrbrn316: I'd appreciate that. Thanks. I am a first print stickler when it comes to books I've got a huge run on... TBT!: You're funny.
  23. The worst thing about all of this is that the Comic Shops didn't even know anything about it. The info hit the newswire before most LCS even opened, so everybody and their brother thought that they needed a copy of the book.... It's gonna be worth something, just like when they killed Superman I don't have the issue. Now there's a hole in my Cap run. I'm really pissed about this. Frakin' money grubbin, non-comic readers...
  24. Keep an eye on eBay... They're coming down in price since they gave them out at the 'con awhile back... Some of them are going for around $10.
