  1. The stuff I use is Alumalite. It works great. The mold compound picks up the smallest of details: My mold for the big-chest shows the paint tampo for Thing on it.
  2. I'm hitting BestBuy right after work for Venture Bros. Season 2. Even though I've already seen the episodes tons of times, I've still gotta buy the discs...
  3. That's fixed now. Thanks for the head's up.
  4. Anybody else watching this? I bought the first season DVD when it came out, based solely on Dave Johnson's wonderful character designs... I was blown away by this cartoon. It's currently wrapping up it's third season on Cartoon Network... Anyway, the Alien Collection figures are unbelievably awesome. In the span of about two weeks, I've managed to find damn near all of them. I'm just missing a Greymatter figure, and a couple of the newest figures. The Alien Collection is really the only line that interests me at this point. I did pick up the DNA Collection figure of Kevin 11, just cause he's about in scale with the 4" AC Ben. Just this Friday, I managed to find the Alien Laboratory of the Rust Bucket on clearance at K-Mart for $14... Man I was so excited. It's a perfect representation of the RV from the show... Anybody else want to talk about Ben 10?
  5. Thanks for all of the wonderful comments, everybody... I absolutely love the way that Cosmic Spidey turned out. There was a point, when I didn't think it was going to work out, but I think I pulled it off alright. I have had zero time to make anything new lately, I've got so much "family stuff" going on lately, that it's hard to drag my ass into the lab to create. Hopefully, I'll get the drive back tomorrow... If you've ordered something from me, don't worry... Your figure is still on my list. Meanwhile, over on eBay... I just listed three figures. My Dr. Strange, Red Sonja and modern Supergirl are all availabe for bidding (or Buy It Now, if you're so inclined): http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZantacostQQhtZ-1 Thanks for looking, even more thanks for bidding. antacost
  6. Joker looks tons better that way. The actual figure's face is just way too small for my tastes. Thanks for a great idea Tenime!
  7. Nice work Lee. It's always neat to see what you've come up with next. You always pick some very interesting characters to make.
  8. Is it glowing? Or is that just the picture? What the hell was it?
  9. I think my favorite is the guy in the Iron Man mask... Nice look to him.
  10. Not yet. He's on my list of "Get-Around-Toos"
  11. The templates are just the flat plastic green things that you can pick up at Hobby Lobby or most craft stores. They're made for drafting, but come in really handy for about anything else.
  12. The easiest way is to use a circle template. I've got several that have different sizes of circle and ovals. I use a pencil to trace the shape on the figure, then paint over the line.
  13. Yes. The KT figures is what I was talking about. I've got some extras of some of the other girls, if you're interested in a trade... Don't worry about the spinner rack... My wife just won't let me have one.
  14. Prof X's suit? Ultimate Wolverine I think he means JJJ, which is just paint aps I was talking about the suit.
  15. Yeah... It's not really a part, per-say... I just couldn't really think of anything that hasn't been done or is really obvious..
  16. Let's go with the less obvious... Beast and the big chest. How's about: Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)
  17. My grail? an old-school metal comic spinner rack... The dingier white the better. I'd love to have one. My wife says that I can't have one, and I think this time, I gotta listen to her... That would be a little more obvious when she walks into the vault, and there it is... Figures, games, DVDs? There's too many in here for her to notice anything new... Quick Edit: Actually, Toy-wise, I'm gonna have to say the Dead or Alive Trading Figure of Lei Fang... I bought out Suncoast about a year ago of these suckers, and never did snag a Lei Fang... Saddened...
  18. Oh Snap! No e-mail, but I just checked the status on the DST site, and their shipped. I should have them this afternoon... Can't wait. It's been so long since I've gotten new Minimates... The week-long wait from my last batch was killer...
  19. 1 Chase figure per case. Qty 12 2/packs per case. They're pretty limited, but not that bad, considering the amount of cases available. Good luck.
  20. The best thing is the typos... That makes it for me... If only "Shockini" was spelled wrong...
  21. Thanks for posting this T! It's something that I've always wondered about. Now I know...
  22. Thanks guys. I really like the way the figure turned out. The fake teeth are an aspect of the character that I really wanted to work into the Minimate... It's alot easier to strike fear into the hearts of the cowardly and superstitous if you really look like a monster... I've got my newest figure done and posted. You can see him in the first post in yellow, or right here. It was a fun figure to do in my spare time while I'm working on getting the rest of the Onslaughts finished... Comments and feedback are always appreciated.
  23. Actually, in the long run, the manufacturers are gonna end up making more money because of the chases. If there are less chase figures avaible, stores are gonna tend to order more cases of figures in order to have more chase figures to sell... That's their thinking at least. I love that the DC line doesn't have variant figures. It just makes it easier to have a comlete set.
