  1. No problem my'man. Honestly, I don't think that Minimates are gonna work too well with them. The 'Joes are pretty thin looking. I doubt that a clunk block figure will fit into the "cockpits" too well, but we'll see. I'm sure that once I see some of these, I'll have to get them. Right now, though, I'm holding fast that I won't...
  2. TNI's always got the pics. http://toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=9 Some of it's pretty cool, but...
  3. While there is nothing like a block in a box, I love the blister packs... Unfortunately, I've never seen a DC Direct product at retail other than Suncoast, Sam Goody or Musicland. They're all gone now. I think these are going to mostly be Comic Shop stock, and Marvel seems to do alright with the boxes there. If they're going to put these into retail stores, then they definately need to go with the blister packs. Kids? Hell, I like to see what I'm buying before I buy it...
  4. Ugly isn't always on the outside... Sometimes it comes from within... In that case, I cast my vote for Thanos...
  5. Can I take a minute to talk to you about the Church of Galactus?
  6. Your sled dogs must have been tired after making the trip to Seattle... How long did it take them to pull you there?
  7. I agree with TBT! That's a damn fine lady Minimate... Great work, my'man...
  8. New Characters? You don't want another six Spideys or Wolverines? How about a Clone Saga box set with four or five different Spideys? That's be awesome!
  9. Dang! Where are all of the Legion Fans? This new series rocks and rolls. Nobody else reading it? Power Pack and Next Wave I get... There aren't too many reading Next Wave, which is a shame. It's a great book. I may be the only Power Pack fan in the world though...
  10. Looks good Copycat... Great work all around. I've been wanting a Longshot of my own, but haven't found the time.
  11. As of now, I'm planning on sitting out on the 2.5" stuff. What drew me into the Sigma 6 stuff was the cool as hell 8" figures. They've got a ton more articulation that the 3.75" line that I loved as a kid, and they're just fun to play with. I don't think that the little guys have much, if any, articulation and while the vehicles are indeed awesome, I don't really need them for my Minimates. If we had G.I. Joe Minimates, it would be a different matter. I just don't think Spidey needs a HISS Tank to drive around...
  12. I'll be hitting WW Chicago again... I think. It's still kinda up in the air right now. Hoping to go though.
  13. Yay! Happy Birthday Movie for antacost next year... Just like Spidey 1 was a few years back... It looks pretty good to me. Sandman looks awesomer yet in better quality. I can't wait.
  14. Holy Gods!!! Sandman looks so flipping sweet!
  15. Throw in a PSP port, and I'm all over it... Seriously though, this would be a greatest hit title in about six months. Lego Star Wars is superb, and kids seem to like it...
  16. Awesome once again Luke. I really like this figure. Are you planning a new series of Horror Blocks?
  17. Sure... Blame it on me.... I'm sorry...
  18. That's a pretty good idea. I'm not sure if the Crypt Keeper fits with the other characters, though. I love the Indy-mates. I would love another set.
  19. Fujis, do you ever sleep? Great work.
  20. Make sure it's cash, though... Timbo don't roll with no checks.
  21. Help! I'm currently finishing up some commissions for people, and am at a lost as to what I want to make for myself next. When they quit making C3 figures, I figured that I'd start making my own Justice League to flesh out the line. I loved the cartoon, and they weren't going to make them, so I did. The pending release of actual official DC Minimates has left me dis-hearted and with no wish to continue my line. Here's where you, the loyal members of Minimate Multiverse get to choose what figures I do next. I've picked three teams from each of the big companies that I would love to have, and that there's not a big chance of getting officially. Vote away. The winning team will start getting figures by year's end... Thanks. antacost
  22. That's pretty cool, Kel. Did the regular figure come with the extra arm pieces, or did you have to use another kit? What do these come with "out of the box"? Any pics of a full unbuilt kit that you could post?
  23. I ordered and paid for two sets of blanks on May 31st. A couple of Fridays back, since I hadn't gotten the figures yet, I gave them a call to e what was going on. The guy that handles that wasn't in, but whoever answered the phone was quite helpful, and took my name and info and said that they would get back to me "No later than Monday." Monday came and went, and I heard nothing. I called again on Tuesday. Same guy answered the phone. Guy that handles that wasn't in. He'll call me Wednesday... Wednesday, no call. I call them. Guy that handles it is running an errand. He'll call me when he gets back... No call... Thursday, I e-mail them a nice, polite letter explaining my situation and that nobody has returned any of my three calls. I decide to give them a couple of days to get back to me before I report it as fraudulant to PayPal. I just logged into my PayPal account to start the refund process. There's a new shipping information button attached to the transaction. On Thursday, June 22nd, they finally sent notice that there would be a package coming... Still, nothing's shipped. They've just told PayPal that it's coming... I'm less than pleased with Bad Apple comics. If I don't have a package by Wednesday, I'll be calling them. I can't believe that it's taken this long for them to ship these out. I know UK members have had some issues with these guys. Has anyone in the US had any problems?
