Anybody else have trouble with America's shield? I tried my best but I couldn't get it to go far enough up the arm. Was afraid it might rip. Cap is the best in the set despite that though I think.

I watch both series and am looking forward to the forthcoming Stargate: Universe (or whatever the third series ends up being called) and would buy SG minimates. As others have said there are infinite characters and variations to pick from. Though you can easily custom them up if you have some BSG minimates I've noticed. Duella's body plus White Queen's head and hair and makes for a nice Sam Carter. In fact I've been thinking about customizing my spare Thunderbird into a Teal'c, the face is just right I think.

Wow those are downright perfect. Sailor Mars especially. The paint apps are spot on and they look like a real quality product, not customs at all. Love the anime expressions. Nice job!

Mine were cheaper too isn't that great? I hope all new minimates are being reduced in price. My LCS charged a bit extra for the two variants but that's okay because I'd end up paying a lot more for them on eBay. Saw the Dress Uniform McCoy there for $30 US and that's way too much. I really can't say how much less I paid because I bought the Rocky set as well plus picked up my comic account and it was all added up together and then my discount was applied. But I did get each set (Trek and BSG) for under $40 (tax included) so that's pretty cool.

Very interesting topic. Always interested to know how others are coming along in their collections. Lets see, I started collecting Minimates a few years back then had to stop when I moved. But when I came home again I was able to get into it again and catch up fast thanks to somebody at work who was getting out of collecting. So thanks to that I now have all of Marvel and DC except for the Gold/Silver SM and the C3 Batcopter, now that I've finally scored a Batcycle and Stealth Batwing. Once I have the next DC and Marvel sets I'm thinking about retiring from collecting as I will now have every character I want. Going out today to get the Trek and BSG W2 figs.

An Alan Scott minimate would be kick ass. His original look from back in the day of course. Perhaps paired with Dr. Midnight? Ever since getting Wildcat I want a complete JSA. Look here! This new wave looks amazing, I have been hoping for a Sinestro, ever since getting a Hal GL. Wave 8? I am really behind in the updates, I wasn't even aware they had announced who was in seven let alone seen a proto pic. Can anybody tell me who is in wave 7?

Thanks for all the pictures guys. A Romulan would have been nice especially since you could swap heads with Sarek and make a Commander Keras minimate (the Romulan played by Mark Leonard in "Balance of Power"). But still that is a great assortment for S3. I don't think Spock in a dress uniform will be the chase just because DU McCoy will be the one in S1. I mean "Naked Time" Sulu is the chase in S2 right. Yeah my money is on "Spock's Brain" Spock being the variant for the third series.

Well they aren't due out until the 25th anyway so I don't see how you could have them by now. Unless there is an early release planned for some WC locations? Haven't heard anything about that.

I've been chasing a MIB Visionaries Dagger Assault for years now. Shipping is usually like fifty bucks and every time one shows up in auction (which is like once ever six months) the sale price rises 30-50 dollars so I doubt I'll ever get one. Last one went for 174.00.

I saw those on eBay that Prime is very cool. Expensive but they seem so posable they would look awesome on my G1 remakes shelf. Wish they would come out around here like the reissues.

I'm hoping there are more accessories in the finished product then shown in the picture. U.S. Agent is a cool repaint. Any idea when these will be available? My LCS gets all the previews stuff usually but you need to know the date to reserve.

Yeah I heard that you can't use mp3's as ringtones because of some legal issues against playing them in public place or some garbage like that. Stupid.

The X3 minimates came up awhile after the dvd hit. So I don't think they care about matching merchandising. Does that change mean the new BSG minimates are coming next week? I hope so. Just got a promo Starbuck in the mail and am planning on a display that needs Adama. Not Lee. His dad.

They may never even say which Flash it is. Just that it's Flash. The presence of Grodd with him suggests he is Silver Age Barry though. Now I want a Johnny Quick (Crime Syndicate version) and a Professor Zoom.

According to what I've read the sequel will involve the Dinobots being built to combat the threat of Soundwave and the Constructicons. Least thats what it said on Wikipedia. Can always trust them right?

Nice shots. I like how getting the variant will give me an extra Scotty because with a simple head-swap I can make a red-shirt Security guard all ready to beam down and get slaughtered.

I'm getting them. The variant too. Really like that new GR and despite the fact that the movie was awful I want some Nick Cage minimates. Perhaps a custom "The Rock" Cage mate or even a "Con Air" one can be made. That would be cool.

Yeah I just think that Steel Minimate is fantasic. I'm working on some action shots of him duking it out with Lex and Cyborg right now. I'd love for them to do a Metallo minimate preferably based on his Animated look.

Oh so it's a giant monster attacks NYC movie? Wasn't paying complete attention because I tuned out when everybody at the party kept saying what a great person the guy was who the bon voyage party was for. It was that whole house warming thing in MI3 all over again and I hated that movie. Doubt this is Godzilla and I expect it's something they made up and not somebody elses liscense. I hope the film itself isn't all grainy first-person documentary style. If so they've 'lost' my ten dollars already.

I feel the same way as well. While I like the zombies I would really prefer to get normal versions of say Giant Man first before this undead version. But hopefully it will be like the C3 Batgirl. First we got the Cain one and then now we get the proper Babs version. But any new minimates is a reason to celebrate.

What a great set hard to find really any faults with any of them. I give Flash, Batgirl, Wildcat, Cyborg Superman and Steel a percect ten out of ten. As for Bane (one of my favorite characters) while I think his figure is very accurate it seems to me to be too big. I know what they were trying to accomplish but he seems way too large to me, they might have gone with a big chested normal sized mate. So I give it an 8 out of 10. But that's most likely due to personal preference. Deadman and the Spectre, they're nearly perfect just find their Peter Pan feet a little clumsy. DM doesn't seem to fit into them right and Spectre's bump against his cape and make him lean forward a bit too much. Other then that perfect so I say 9's for them. Five 10's and two 9's make this the most impressive set so far in the new line at least for me. Heres a picture I did.
