I ordered a package from AFX recently. The shipping ended up having some surprising extra charges. It also cost me through the nose just like it did for TM2 Dinobot. Then, when it finally got to me, the variant pack was beat to sh... well, you know. So I will never order through them again, unless they are the only place I can get it, which does not seem the case anymore for their "exclusives." But honestly, I have had problems with Stuckakid (don't use them anymore) and scifigenre. I have even had troubles with my own Comic shop(s) with stuff being weeks or even months late. If it even showed up at all. No sense on getting all bent out of shape about these things. Everybody has a hard time sometimes when collecting toys. It comes with the territory.

Man, that sucks. Last I heard the 24 End of Day 3 stuff was all cancelled. I find BBTS leaves all sorts of cancelled items up for presell. (i.e. Marvel Ghost Rider wave, Spider-man Max Statue, BSG Busts, etc) Strange how they did not notify you.

Hey, thanks for stopping by. Here is the story, I joined another forum for my new little addiction called U.B. Funkeys. In that forum they have a thread called Funkey's in funky places and so I pulled on the ol' creative cap and went crazy. Thanks to the kindness of winkerbean and his backgrounds and the ever fantastic graphic design skills of my soon-wife-to-be, here is my first ever step into the world of custom creations and artwork for toys. hope you all find it neat. I got some great news. My Comic Shop finally got in, well half anyway, my order of Classic BSG. Now all I have to do is wait for my three sets of Heroes. At least I got the villians I suppose.

Wow, somebody else likes the Speed Racer mates as much as I do. They happen to be my second fav line after modern BSG. But I am sad to inform you that I asked this question back in Q&A #7 and here is the answer: With the guaranteed success of the upcoming Speed Racer movie, I am wondering, does DST (after the purchase of AA) have the license to do Speed Racer toys still? With Mattel and LEGO doing movie stuff and JADA doing classic die cast, can DST make any merchandise for Speed Racer these days? DSTChuck: DST has NO rights to any Speed Racer product. ***edit** On second look your question is a little different but will more then likely get the same answer.

There are some 300 Chrome plate ones. But the one you and I have are all numbered 1/1000. The box also shows exact same thing. But you already know this dockingbay97. Does anybody out there know if the chrome ones say 1/300? I would like to know that.

Those 3D images look frick'n sweet, that wood mate is so neat. Not that I am one to give any form constructive criticism about anything but the elbow joints on mates have a curve in front of the arms to make them bend. The images pictured are missing the curve. It seems the images need some extra space for the elbows to bend. Keep on showing us new stuff, I always look foward to the creations you come up with.

I would like to start by saying thank you for confirming there will be a wave five for BSG through a previous answer. 1, Is there any chance you can tell us the breakdown for the BSG Razor cases? 2, With the joint effort by DST and Gentle Giant on the recent Cylon Bust, and how DST has no current plans to release any BSG busts in the near future, has Gentle Giant expressed any interest in picking up the line and making the busts independent from DST? 3, Will we ever see Planet Hulk / World War Hulk mates? I am more wondering if there has ben any interest from DST in making a Silver Savage? It would be nice to see some Silver Surfer Variations. 4, Are there any BSG Exclusive sets coming up in the near future? I am surprised that all we have is the FYE 5-pack and the single Previews 2-pack. 5, I think the Mouse Guard statue turned out great and I am so glad I got it. Has the Mouse Guard merchandise garnered enough sales to continue the line or is what we have all we are going to get? 6, One last very quick question. Will you have any Blue Dress Six Busts at SDCC? Like the title says, how much did you pay for your first Minimate? Was it a lot, on clearance, a gift? Was it stolen ? I think it would be nice to know what everybody first dropped for their first "hit." Guess I will start the ball rolling. The first mate I got was actually two full sets, including the variants, of BSG wave 1 at $9.99 (Canadian ) each. If this idea already exists in another thread, at least this is not necromancy

BSG is a no-brainer for me. But most people know that I am a die hard BSG fan, like.... really bad. Great poll, it is kinda sad there are no Stargate mates to give the poll a third option. (not like they would get the vote though )

Well, I have got my first grail (which was not a big one) which was the C3 throne room. And my second thanks to fugis, the BSG minimates poster, which I am so happy to have. Now my grail is the Chrome Cylon bust. Only 300 were made.
