It's bad enough that you can go to China and buy bags of minimates already for about $1.00 each. This is crap! When you re-release rare, or limited runs, you cause the collector value of minimates to drop. 15.00 - 20.00 for a Nightcrawler was because it was rare/exclusive . Do you really feel that your collection is worth anything, if rares/exclusives are mass reproduced for retail stores? Don't see my point? Happy to have them complete your collection or for custom fodder? When they re-release a black spiderman, than maybe the sudden realization will kick in. They need to vary the figures slightly to distinguish them from the first releases. Hopefully when the DC direct mates come out, I become a fan again. I can't believe the thousands I spent collecting minimates. Regardless, I officially quit collecting minimates as of today.

My Toys R Us is a peice of shit. 75th street in Woodgridge. They didn't have any Ultimate 2 sets, but they had like 25+ Dark tide sets. When I asked him to check the back, the peice of shit manager said "We have everything out on the floor,sorry" I broke down and bought the Bestbuy set instead.

I've definately seen better custom minimates on this board than those protos. The decal work on the protos looks like sh*t. But I understand that the finished product will look better.

The dark knight returns is a masterpeice, but all his new stuff lacks even a 1/1000th of the creativity and strong writing. Old stuff was great, new stuff is embarrassing. His work needs to be better edited. All Star Superman, is great!

I'm a Chinese American and having taken various forms of martial arts over the past 10 years, I am also familiar with this registering of hands as a dangerous weapon. Bad move, buddy... Did you know that if you ever do get into an actual fight and serious hurt an attacker, they can use that documentation to sue your pants off? Publically recording the fact that you can be deadly with hand attacks/grapples does not help you in a court of law. Much better to just know you can, and leave it at that. Perhaps this can relate to Civil War. Power registering does not stop accidents or lawsuits. If anything, it would just provide superheroes with health and property damage insurance/compensation. Is that worth the possible death and arrest of earths mightest heroes? No.

I've never seen Battlestar Galactica, or know who those characters are. But I can't wait to get that big robot minimate and customize the shit out of it. Ultimate Iron man and Apocalypse, here I come baby! Also some nice civilain and army looking mates as well. Sorta looks like GI joe minimates

The reson why he looks so small is simple. This entire hair peice and face detail is printed on the minimate head. This shrinks down his features and without a hair peice he will be about 2 cm smaller than a mate with a hair peice. So yes, he is the same size, but the features on the face and lack of hairpeice makes him appear tiny.

I agree with you TBT. It's just really strange how all the villians that recently escaped (See new Avengers #1) are just being ignored/forgotten by S.H.I.E.L.D. If you are willing to gather the Fantastic 4, Iron Man, Ms. MArvel, She Hulk, to crush Cap and friends, than try gathering them to crush the super villians that just escaped. Unless you believe that a bunch of B list villians can hide better than Nick fury and Cap. Accountability and the law.... this coming from government? Laws are arbituraly made based on politics. Think about how stupid this is. Ironman will crush cap's skull in to make a point/stand about accountability and the law? (See Black Panther and Civil War #3) lol Sigh.... Decals are best for customs that are for display only. And viewed from a distance. Upclose it just looks like a sticker on a minimate part. The sticker also peels and looses stickiness with light play. The best durable way is smooth thin coats of top quality model paint with 2+ coats of protective coating. No sticker outlines or peeling off.

Isn't it retarded how a Superhero will be monitored by S.H.I.E.L.D. while beating up villians or bad guys, than sheild sends in a bunch of agents to beat and catch them? Where were the agents while shit was going down in the first place? If survelience is sooo good that smart and secret forces under cap and fury can be easily found, than why aren't they spending this time catching all the super villians that recently escaped? Stopping all Superheroes seems like more work and energy than is really neccessary. I agree, Civil War destroys about 100 years of continuity. Iron man trying to kill Cap?

Iron Man is so out of character. All these characters are on the proregistration act. *SPOILER* Iron man punches Cap's face in and knocks his teeth out. (Iron man could have used a force field bubble or sonics) I hope it doesn't just turn out that MAstermind and Xaviers sister are controlling people. The part that kills me is how much money, time, and energy they are willing to use to hunt down non-registers. This is a would where a recent jail break by electro let loose dozens of super powered maniacs. And instead of hunting them down or worrying about other villians, they wanna fight with each other.

There's now a 2006 new 26 episodes that were released in Japanese TV, they are good, but the violence and gore is tuned way down. The animation is weaker too, but it's done like a DBZ or Inuyasha TV fashion.

My dream minimates would be from the Bio Boosted Armor GUYVER animation/books. This is a great series from Japan. Anyone else know about this series, it rules!
