Boxset = Meh Wolverine is only good for some parts to swap onto the original X-Force Wolverine. Archangel is nice but those "movie sabertooth" hands are horrible. Thankfully they can be switched out. The other two are boring. I understand why DST is putting them in the boxset since this is the "New, New" X-Force lineup. But I would have preferred characters such as Domino, Elixir or Wolfsbane from the "New" X-Force.

Well my choices aren't very new or exciting but I want Wrecking Crew and Brotherhood of Mutants boxsets. But with DST's obsession with Wolverine/Spiderman and sometime lack of villains I don't see either being made anytime soon.

Hmmm....Chuck said in the latest minimate Q&A the "TRU FF wave" and the doombot and thing from Wave 37 round out the TRU wave. Sounds to me the whole wave is a TRU exclusive.

Yes, they are good thing because they give the line more exposure to the general public and more attention/sales. Also, it shows TRU supports minimates and has faith in them being good sellers. Without TRU support the amount/variety of minimates per year would decrease. Are they a pain in the butt to find? Yes. But relative to other exclusives (DC Universe Walmart waves, etc) they aren't that bad.

That's what it looks like, which wouldn't be a bad thing in my opinion. If you look back at the previous waves, the ones that peg warm are the ones that were covered in the LCS waves as well. That's partly from scalpers nabbing all the exclusives and leaving the rest of the wave to rot, but I imagine the fact that the overlap also takes up most of the case, they aren't moving as many as they could if it was another unique figure, or at least a hard to find rerelease. Hopefully you are right. I would love if they got rid of the crossover minimates since I've found as well they are the slowest sellers. Also, with no crossover it means more new minimates for me to buy!!

I thought that DST was trying to have the release of the TRU wave and LCB close together so they don't take away from the LCB sales? Since none of these figures are in Wave 37 I'm assuming this wave will have some crossover with Wave 38. However Wave 37 won't be out until Sept-Nov which puts Wave 38 release around Dec-Jan. It usually takes 5-6 weeks from the packaged pics being shown to the minimates showing up in the stores for TRU waves. I wonder what is going on? Are they removing the crossover minimates between TRU & LCB waves?

That picture is a minimate wave in itself Spidey-Ironfist Electra-Daredevil White Tiger-Hand Ninja Classic White Tiger-Hand Ninja (Variant Set) i would love a classic White Tiger Minimate Replace Spidey with the new "Power Man" or a redone Kingpin (who appears in the background of the picture) and I'd gladly buy this assortment.

Got my "Ready to Believe You" set in the mail today and it is a total disappointment. No ghost sniffer for Ray, no colander helmet for Lewis, nothing good at all. Don't bother buying this at full price, it's not worth it and will most likely be sold at TRU.com for $8 like the SDCC exclusive from last year is currently.

The TRU SDCC items weren't supposed to go on sale until Wed (21st). They probably just disabled the buy option until then. Putting them up over the weekend was possibly a mistake.

I noticed a drop off in customer service from DST when the layoffs that eliminated Matt and maybe others took place. The firings also appear to have had other effects. The Art Asylum website updates are now very basic with html errors, the DST site has been completely abandoned and there are more quality issues with products.

Got an email from TRU.com that the Mayor/Subway ghost pack I pre-ordered was shipping. No info on the other sets but they will probably follow shortly.

Good to hear they arriving before the TRU wave. I always cave and buy the repeat packs at TRU before my set arrives from online/LCB. Damn my lack of willpower!!

Well this wave is full of suprises. Glad to see they are finally going with bulky arms. No claw hands or slide over face for Lizard is disappointing but it's still a solid mate. What previously released set does the Warparth figure round out? More than half of modern X-force hasn't been released. 6-armed spiderman is awesome and this means DST will probably release a Spiral minimate! Also, if you take the 6 arm attachment off it makes for a good Spiderman & Friends spidey.

The AFX sets are now up for pre-order for attendees and non-attendees. They also have the 90's Xmen for preorder as well. Unfortunately their shipping rates still suck.

Mixed bag. Bishop and Jubilee are welcome additions. Proto pics usually aren't as good as the actual product so there is still hope for improvement. I've never seen that Magneto costume before and into the parts box he will go with wolverine. I can see why they aren't putting a new Brown Costume Wolverine in a SDCC exclusive. It should be a good seller and makes more sense to be released in a standard wave. So after this we'll have almost all the 90's X-Men can we get some X-Men Villains???

Disappointing. Domino and Feral are good additions but Deadpool is dull and Cable is a big Who needs a third Cable especially in such a lame costume??

AFX's blog says they will reveal their SDCC exclusives tomorrow. There is one Marvel and one Ghostbusters boxset. What's left to release from Ghosbusters???

There should be an announcement soon on these packs. So what do you think they will be? Fantastic Four? X-Force (90's)? Inhumans? Kang through the Ages? I'm guessing there will be - Fantastic Four Set - (Reed, Johnny, Sue & She-Hulk) - X-Force (90's) Set - (Cannonball, Shatterstar, Domino & Feral) - Iron Man Set - (Iron Man variant, War Machine variant, Comic Iron Monger & Whiplash/Backlash)

Evidently voting for this has been open at toysrus.com since May 1st. Good job on promotion DST. You can only vote for one but the top four get made into the boxset. WWII, Suspended Animation and Armored are at least new figure possibilities.
