If I can get this set, I'll probably do what I did to Venom, Carnage, and my Build a Better Octopus program which is use painted twist-ties. I refuse to play with a GameCube controller on my Wii, so I only have three options. I want to try the classic controller mode, but haven't gotten around to it. I can't stand the Wii/Nunchuk set up, it just feels very OFF. What about you guys, what works best for you? neo Gamecube. Sorry. That has been the case with Nintendo going back, at least, to the N64 (though I think the NES and SNES were superior to the Sega Master System and Genesis, too, based on game selection alone), and because of that, barring a while when I just had a 360 and played my room-mate's Wii, I have always stuck with Nintendo over Sony, Microsoft, etc. You may not get as many games, the games may not be as fancy, but you always, always get a few extremely high quality, often console-exclusive games (and not always first party, though the Mario, Metroid, and Zelda games are always high points). Nintendo just knows how to make extremely fun games, period, and they have had a lot of luck with great third party games being released on their consoles. I'm going to upset the Nintendo lovefest... I've not owned a Nintendo console since the 64, yes I loved Zelda (& GoldenEye) back in the day but isn't anyone else bored of them effectively making the same games over and over only sprucing up the graphics to whatever the current standard is? Apart from the novelty controls of the Wii, Nintendo live in their little safe tower and rehash the same old stuff over and over, Mario Zelda and Metroid, seriously how about doing something new? There I've said it... *waits for stoning* T. Think about this: What franchise doesn't. I mean, video games have pretty much reached a standstill. (I too wait for stoning.) Everything that can be done pretty much has. Now all there is left to do is just update them graphically every few years. Look at Halo for example. What was it? It was your average ordinary everyday a;lien invasion game with multiplayer and people called it the best game ever made. So it did it again with Halo 2 and people called it the best ever. Halo three came out and people looked at it, everyone bought it, but it was ditched rather quickly because it was he same. So what you have to ask yourself is "what does nintendo do differently to keep games fresh?" Apparantly they're doing something because people bought Metroid 3, and Mario Galaxy and Twilight Princess and the various pokemon games which still never change and some still play those. Halo 3 is pretty much done, but the Nintendo games remain popular even though Mario changed relitavely little from mario 64. nintendo just does what everyone else does. it's not just Nintendo, but there is one big difference: Nintendo does it right. Well, SMASH BROS RULES! I now have a new character whom I picked out after listning to my friends' pre-release discussion. As everyone spoke of him as the one to not pick and that they would never play as this guy and that nobody would, I now play as Pokemon Trainer! Seriously, if I can master him, then I would be difficult to beat. He has so much potential to kick ass and people write him off as sucky. Well, so much for them. The other characters that I am good with are Meta Knight, Olimar, and still Samus.

To provide a counterpoint, I like Loeb and Sale's Batman work on the Long Halloween and Dark Victory a lot (as well as their Superman for All Seasons). However, I wouldn't say that it's the best comic story ever. I personally don't think it can touch Year One (which Halloween is the spiritual sequel to), Dark Knight Returns, or Killing Joke, as far as Batman stories go. Just don't want someone to get their hopes up too high, only to be disappointed. Its definitely good reading, though. Ah... See I haven't read Killing Joke or DKR, but I think the library copy of Year One had a few pages missing because I was left utterly confused. It seemed to be lacking an ending, so I really didn't like it. Now I need to read Dark Victory. Also, there is nothing that Loeb and Sale have done together that isn't good. Just look at Spider-Man Blue and Daredevil: Yellow. I didn't like Daredevil until I had read that. In fact, I normally don't like DC the only exceptions to that rule being Alex Ross and the Loeb/Sale team.

What is it about Texas? Do you think it's that you get more stock, or that you just don't have as many obsessive "scalpers" and hoarders as we seem to have just about everywhere else? Isn't Wal mart's distribution center in Dallas/Fort Worth Texas. Whenever I look stuff up online, it says Site to Store form Dalls/fort Worth Texas. I guess that's why they have more crap in Texas.

Don't get me wrong, TOS is geat, but series wise, It's gotta be TNG. For movies, TOS. TNG has one really good movie (First Contact) , but the rest range from pure crap (Generations) to OK (Nemesis) TOS films, on the other hand, have good films (Star Trek 5), Great films (Star Trek 4) Amazing Films (Star Trek 6) And films that deserve tobe amongst the pantheon of film Gods (Of course, I'm referring to the legendry Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan. ALL HAIL KHAN!) Also you have the annoying films like Star Trek the Motion(less) Picture (where they haven't learned that a movie does not equal a very freaking long episode of a TV Show) and The Search for Spock (which had no point but to make Star Trek 4 possible. Star Trek without a Spockish character is not true Star Trek) So there you go, TNG is the best series and TOS the best movies. Wow, that was quite the novel.
