  1. Heh. Chuck and I are on the same page with Disney Villains. People say Disney is girly! B.S.! I mean how many girly movies have people who want to skin puppies for a coat? Or have animals murdering their own brother. Anyway It's interesting that Chuck hates MJ when that truly awful Mariko exists. Go figure.
  2. Great for you. Play as Link? You use LINK!!!!????? Why Link? He's nothing compared to the other swordsmen like Meta-Knight or Pit. He's like Samus, once they were great but now with the new characters they've lost their appeal after beind overshadowed by characters wo do what they do better than them. Meta Knight and Pit overshadow Link and ROB beats Samus. It's sad but true. Also Lucario rules. I had to say it.
  3. i have one ting to say about the whole quality cotrol vs customer service thing and that's this: If the quality is really good you won't need customer service. I don't know how Nintendo's customer service is because I NEVER NEEDED IT! [Punches desk computer is on.] With a good quality product you will have no need of customer service good or bad. Yes, I'd rather have the quality control.
  4. Devil in the Dark Mini Style A scene from this classic episode of Star Trek is minimatized. It's the Horta one.
  5. Just gt the set and I must say that AF spidey is the best spidey ever. In fact, I have a box of minimates I use with one of each character in it and I have the box of minis that are variants of a type of character. I have now officially removed Series 2 Spidey from that use box and replaced him with AF spidey. It was a momentous occasion.
  6. Sadly not going to be in Atlanta for the 17th, We do however expect pictures of you in your green smiley T-shirt and button-mail-shirt. T. Sorry TBT,but I will never put a picture of myself on a forum. However, if you find the Forsyth Alliance, you will be able to see our award-winning green smiley.
  7. There is a robotics competition called FIRST in town on the 16th and 17th. Basically these are groups of robots playing robot NASCAR with a twist. Hard to explain without a visual aid. Anyway, if you can come, look for the team with the Green Smileys on the shirt. You can't miss 'em. that is the team I'm on. I probably won't be nearby because I'll be referreing the Lego division, but it's a whole lot of fun. Oh, and you get free stuff from the teams. You probably can make a mail shirt of the buttons you'll get. BTW anyone involved with FIRST here?
  8. Quiet you! Don't give them any ideas! [Puts Chloroform napkin to Marvel Zombies face.]
  9. Ramses, it's close. It looks somewhat like this pic which is him from the comics, I think. at least that's what Google Images said and they've never lied before PS That's the first time I've ever posted a pic. Sweet it worked!
  10. Dude... There's more than one character who looks inhuman, you can't have too many armors, and top that off with a new and interesting villain I think there's some potential for not being cancelled. This wave is fine.
  11. It was kinda suspicious, him coming back after, what, sixty years dead. This was, after all, during the time of the Skrull Invasion when they were taking places on Earth. He probably is a Skrull just like it was obvious that Pym was.
  12. So, I again bring up my question, who do you think "He" is? I believe, like Bendis said, it does have some religious undertones. However, I'm going to go out on a limb and sugguest that maybe it's not a Skrull. What if it was a Hero or Villian that we know? We know from #1 that the person they meet with in the begining is female. So it's not her. The sound is like it's something that they worshiped. If we were to think human terms, there are some religious that teach people to kill for their god. Those are the same teachings that those gods love everyone, but they are just doing their part. But, what if their "god" here is actually someone that has turned his back on the Human Race. What is it was, say Professor X. He loves the humans but maybe he has went crazy and thinks they can't manage anymore and need to be eliminated. What about Doctor Strange or Silver Surfer or any number of super powerful beings. What if, at the end of the day, they are behind the invasion. But, in their minds they feel it's the only choice they have left. Maybe in preparation for the Battle he tells the Skrulls, "I do this because I love them." Interesting... The flip side to that is it could be a Skrull god who supposedly loves all creation, but they are burdened with getting ride of a perverse people. It could be a completely brand new enemy, a brand new creation of Bendis' for this very series. So, again I ask the question...Who do you think "He" is? neo DOOM! Maybe. Namor? He would make sense because of what happened in the miniseries. He has no reason to help the human race with anything especially because of what humans forced him to do. The Beyonder is probably the best theory yet, though.
  13. Punisher-It's on Brawlers, I'm on Spring Break, so I'll probably be playing a lot more. hopefully someone will be online.
  14. "He" is simply an innocent sounding phrase which causes everyone to skrullify. I think...
  15. Wait a second, low-class bad guys? The Brotherhood is one of the premier Super-Villain teams in their heyday and in Ultimate U. they're still going strong. Think about it, there's Magneto one of the mos powerful vilains ever, there's Sabertooth, a merciless moster, Scarlet Witch, who decimated the mutant population, and Quicksilver, who is so fast it's not even funny. Avalache is cool and the Blob is going to take a very second-string role so he doesn't appear much. Also we could put Havok in the Brotherhood to add conflict there. No, the Brotherhood is not low-class. What say we make this it's own topic, eh? It's kinda cluttering this one.
  16. There is a HUGE downside to this idea though. Imagine day 1 of the release of say GTA4 where they could have a million users all trying to download 4gb's of data at once.... That's a HUGE amount of data and bandwidth even by todays standards. There there's storage costs, every game is perhaps 4gb and there could be thousands of games and movies out there. not such a bad figure in itself but to have that as nearline storage where it's accessible by hundreds of thousands of people is not cheap. I haven't even mentioned those who don't have an internet connection or wont connect their 'boxes'. Or those like the members above ( and myself) who dont feel they really have something unless they have something tangable in their hands. I feel contrary today so I'm really just throwing some mud at the perfect picture that's being painted... T. I'm right there with Timbo (For once. We usually agree on nothing). I don't even buy online because I'm so damned paranoid that I NEED to have the thing in my hand when I pay for it instead of paying and trusting someone to get it to me later. Unless they're family, I can't pay without complete certainty that I'll get the item. Family I'm a little more trustig with.
  17. YES! YES! I was RIGHT! I knew was a Skrull. Look at the other thread which discusses Skrulls. I predited it from the announcement of SI
  18. I personally have a huge problem with downloadable content in one simple thing: If the games are stored on hardware and the hardware is destroyed, there goes your games. With disks, the games are relatively safe and if the hardware dies, you can replace it rather easily without rebuying games. In the download thing, would you have to rebuy games too? MORE FRIEND CODES!
  19. But if this tall blue guy with blond hair shows up with giant metal wings and the X-Men have these horrified shocked looks on their faces, wouldn't people pretty much know that It's Angel? Also what do you think of the Brotherhood? Perhaps a spin-off. BTW Title it "Mutants" as it is what Stan the Man wanted to call the X-Men originally.
  20. If you read the holiday joke special, it is revealed that there is , but I doubt that that thing is canon because it has Spider-Man getting a picture of Wolverine baking a cake and selling it to the Bugle, and Wolverine gets Iceman to create a big ass snowball to hit Spider-Man with. It's the funniest thing I've read in a long time.
  21. Sorry, but honestly I wouldn't use one or read any. The Multiverse topics are enough for me.
  22. I just thought of this, so bear with me. Maybe instead of an X-Men show, make it about the Brotherhood and its beginnings and its views and its occasional conflicts with the humans, Sentinels and, of course, The X-Men. The pilot would have to be all Magneto of course. And Neo, I like your idea but instead of killing beast have him survive and Angel is captured and no seen again for a while then pops up as Archangel in Season two's finale. We should consult and make a full-fledged script and let Marvel see it, see how kick-ass it is, and then make it and pay us a lot of money for wirting this thing
  23. Heroes tops my list. End of story. Anyway, I was wondering how kick-Ass it would be if marvel decidedto do live action shows of characters like a live action X-Men. Think about it: X-Men has too much to it to be covered in three-to-eight movies, so make an X-Men TV series and be done with it. That way, you can have the original X-Men team for one episode fighting Pyro (seems like a good first enemy), in Episode two bring in Wolverine and Magneto and for the rest of the season do the brotherhood. Season two is when all hell beaks loose because the Sentinels are unvieled. Deal with them for a while then begin the Apocalypse Saga, then Phoenix, then end the series with the return of the Sentinels who attack Asteroid M during the final episodes and it crashes to Earth with the entire brotherhood inside. The series ends with the acceptance of a new student into Xavier's school who happens to be, I don't know, Gambit. I'll flesh it out more when I have more time, but for now, does that kick ass or not?
  24. They finally confirmed these at ToyFair this year and showed off the first wave of figures and the Build-A-Figure Fin Fang Foom. More Hulk figure goodness here As much as I'd love a Fin Fang Foom figure, I can't see myself buying all these figures just for him. Especially if the rumored price increase to $15 a figure is true... Wait... On the bottom of those pictures... Could it be? It is! ULTIMATES
