Just wanted to give everyone a heads up and let you know i'm back. Good thing I have a decent library in Sidney NY. Between losing my power, losing my internet, and getting evicted from my home I think i'm doing better now. I thought I would stop here first to say i'm still alive.

How odd that I live the closest to this and still haven't made the trip. I live in Ok City and if anyone needs some couch space or even floor space and doesn't mind kids feel free to let me know.

I understand where your coming from but my loss steams from a different direction. I'm still playing to catch up game with the bills and such from when I broke the ankle so I have the inability to afford mates at the moment. It also doesn't help my boys (7,8) have over the last month gotten the mates bug (it's what I nicknamed it) and opened packages of mates and some of them not the cheaper (if you can call any of em that) ones. The fact I haven't been able to work on any of my customs (yea i'm sure Antacost just chuckled at that). Nor am I getting replies from people on the want/have or parts. It's a slump I plan on breaking out of. As for me i'll go commando while i visit the site. :biggrin:

I frequent 2 shops in my area one is called Dragon Fyre Comics. Jim the owner of Dragon Fyre woun't purchase minimates but will special order them because they don't sell and they are a bit of of my way. The other shop I visit is New World Comics the guys that runs the store is pretty cool (I know someone else on this board goes there too [CRISIS Survivor, maybe?]) and he not only sells em but he collects them and makes customs too.

NM I got them today from my old address which is what I had for my address for the Target offer. Just a bit surprised I got them at all since we haven't lived at that address since May.

Unless they took down my address after I contacted them about not getting my mates from the Target offer I doubt I'll be seeing anything. Hopefully they will cross reference them with the Radicals and get those radicals that didn't send off for the Target offer. BTW the got a Retail Summit and yellow blank with nothing on it (I can't remember where and when).

Yea I bought mine from Wizard for 5$ including shipping I should have bought more.

I had bought a sealed Nightcrawler/Colossus pack from a friend and when I took Nightcrawler out his leg snapped off. I emailed AA and they got my address and shipped me out a new one. On another subject I also asked about the target offer and they shipped those out to me too.

When it comes to shipping some people either over charge shipping (I bet it's to lessen the auction fees, they don't pay anything out of the shipping charges.) or the item is very cheap and has a very high shipping charge. Make sure folks to check out any fees or even ask about shipping or combing shipping if there is no set price on shipping. It's very easy to get burned on these things.

I always avoided pre orders (to easy for someone to scam you) and the way to avoid the dreaded "I did send it" is the tracking/insurance route. It more of a pain for those that live outside of the U.S. to do these things (not sure how Fedex/UPS works outside the U.S.) In over 200 auctions I've only had three negative experiences (one for not receiving payment, receiving the item, and a complete refusal to pay) and that doesn't include all the feedback I never received. Personal I like eBay but I prefer my mates coming from my mates.
