Anybody watch that new GOTG cartoon, yet? It's not as terrible as Avengers Assemble but still pretty bad just like all the other Disney Marvel cartoons.

Yeah, as everyone is pointing out, that Store Locator is pretty useless. Drove to 8 different Wal Greens in the last 2 days and nothing at each store, the staff were mostly helpful that I talked to, only 2 of them offered to check for me in the back but came back with nothing. Everyone kept saying the same thing, that they wouldn't put out any new toys yet until they redid the section and all said come back in a few weeks. One guy was pretty exasperated about the Walgreens Exclusives, I assumed he must deal with collectors all the time. Finally I stopped wasting my time driving around and called some other Wallgreens in surrounding areas and of the 20! in my area, 1 store that's 45 minutes away had a set that they put on hold for me. So yeah, I guess patience and persistence are the name of the game with these damn things. Also I need less annoying hobbies.

So obviously that September 5th or whatever release date was just a suggestion, guess I need to start hitting up all the Walgreens in my area. Still haven't seen any of the new TRU waves at either Toys R U near me.

I mean he makes a good point, a random Hulk personality that lasted for part of a crossover that will never been seen again is definitely more essential to any collection than one of Thor's oldest villains.

And was actually a major character in the story, unlike Kluh.

Singer's horrible taste strikes again. Why do they keep letting him make these damn movies? Since there's no way in hell Fox is EVER going to give up the rights to this IP, I can only hope that Apocalypse concludes this series and we get a hard reboot in a few years with a director that has some actual vision and chops. Oh yeah, please don't make any mates for this movie. Do Not Want.

I would imagine she's a likely candidate for whatever the next comic wave line we get, since it would likely be All-New Marvel themed.

Reed is at the center of Secret Wars but I won't be surprised if both he and Doom are gonna get shelved for awhile when All New Marvel kicks off. If anything Secret Wars seems like Hickman giving them both a big sendoff.

I barely read any of Hickman's New Avengers run and understood what the hell was going on pretty easily. It's no more confusing than House of M or Age of Apocalypse or any other alternate reality story Marvel has told. I dig the Game of Thrones riffs and any story with Doom at the center is always gonna make me happy.

i've only read the 1st issue of X-Men '92, but there's no Morph. it's just the core team.

Population: vague. pretty sure you guys are reading a different comic then honestly I feel really discouraged by the Marvel threads on this forum , seems everyone is so afraid of new ideas that they cant even give them a chance I hope that works well for you, the best of luck to ya Marvel will still be here and thriving when you choose to get on board Agreed, Secret Wars isn't any more complicated or hard to understand that Age of Apocalypse or Years of Future Past. I have always enjoyed Hickman's style and I think Secret Wars is Marvel's best event since Annihilation

Doom and Dr Strange killed the Beyonders and Doom took their omnipotent powers and used them to save what was left over of all the different worlds to form Battlworld. No one remembers anything because Doom used his godlike powers to make it that way, that's why there are walls separating the different regions of Battleworld so that people don't suddenly realize there are multiple versions of themselves running around all over the place. The only people with memories of the old world are the Cabal and the survivors of 616 (plus Miles). My understanding is that after Battleworld we will have a new Marvel Universe which will essentially be 616 with a few various survivors of dead realities like Old Man Logan, Ultimate Spidey, Squandron Supreme, and some more randoms. When Secret Wars ends the All New Marvel will take place 8 months afterwards which will let writers set the new status quo without having to explain every damn thing. People are freaking out about Marvel doing a reboot, but this isn't a reboot, not a real one. As far as I can tell continuity from the 616 is gonna carry forward.

Yeah, i mean I'd rather have Gladiator Captain America, God Emperor Doom, and Sheriff Stephen Strange but I ain't complaining about Maestro and Old Man Logan (even if this is the third one). The Ultron is the only figure that I really don't care about.

A lot of these costume designs are giving me some really bad 90s flashbacks. Is this the lesson Marvel took from DC's New 52? Rehash the 90s?

so I ended up buying 3 complete sets of Wave 60 and I am gonna sell my extra Brotherhood mates (as well as a couple of other lots I have of extra figures). is their a certain thread or forum where people post about lots they have up for bid on eBay?

Thanks The hairpiece came with the TRU wave 19 Wolverine but no ponytail, unfortunately. Those pants belonged to Shaman of Alpha Flight and then I used stickers for the socks.

I did a janky job putting in on, but oh well. nothing a little green sharpie won't fix. now we are one original Sunfire from having the perfect Second Genesis X-Men squad. (i also REALLY need to do something about Cyclops. that is still the worst chest of all time.)

i am hoping we get at least a 2nd Wave out of Secret Wars cuz I am loving this whole Marvel universe suddenly gets turned into Game of Thrones world. I really want God Doom, Sheriff Strange, Gladiator Steve Rogers, Baron Jamie Braddock, and some of these different Thors. by the time this whole thing is done, I will probably want about 50 more.
