Thanks for the comments, and it's good to hear some people are familiar with the comics!

Those of you that aren't might be disappointed, as this is all I'll be doing for a while.

A little recap: Scott Pilgrim is a 20 something hipster slacker who meets Ramona, the girl of his dreams (literally). In order to date her he has to defeat her 7 evil ex boyfriends. Hilarity ensues.

Next up in the series is Roxie Richter and clearly I'm going out of order because Roxie is

Ramona's fourth evil ex-boyfriend (who isn't a boy)

The problem I'm gonna have with making this is that every character has so many different outfits. Roxie here is in only one volume, and there were 3 outfits to choose from. When she's around, it was summer, so there's no reason for Scott to have his jacket. Ramona has several looks to choose from in each book! If this were a real series it would drive completists wild with all the variants they could make. And it's gonna leave me with a bunch of customs that shouldn't be interacting with each other because they're all from different scenes.

Oh, and I think I might go add some outlines to Scott's hair like on Roxie's, and I'm never painting fishnets ever again, ever.

I really plan on having almost everyone important. That at least includes....

Scott Pilgrim (Obviously)

Ramona

Knives

Matthew Patel

Lucas Lee

Todd Ingram

Roxie Richter (obviously)

The Katamari Twins

Gideon

Then if I feel like going into the characters that don't go around try to kill people, there's always the rest of Sex Bob-omb and Clash at Demonhead, and Wallace Wells of course.

But I don't see myself making people like Young Niel or Julie Powers

Right now I'm trying to figure out different parts (particularly for hair) and color schemes (not many color references exist for the Twins)

Wow, I'm completely unfamiliar with Scott Pilgrim, but those are awesome miniMates. That sculpted hand on Scott is great. I'm kicking myself for not picking up some of these books at Wizard World this weekend. These customs are making me want to read this series quite a bit.

So...Scott Pilgrim international trailer came out earlier this week. In other words, I got inspiration for more Scott Pilgrim Minimates.

Here we have Todd Ingram, Ramona's third evil ex-boyfriend. Being a vegan, Todd has great telekinetic powers, you would understand if you knew the science.

So, he's not crying, that's supposed to be this energy stuff that comes from his eyes when he uses his vegan powers.

Hope I can remember how to paint normal faces when I'm done with this.

Thanks everyone! I just finished up Lucas Lee, but when it all came together I didn't like the hair. So....I'd like some help!

Does anyone know any Minimates with hair like in the attached image? I'm currently using a modified version of this and it's just too big.

And while I'm asking for help, for the fans of Scott Pilgrim, which look should I use for Ramona?

And also do you think Lucas Lee was drawn large enough to warrant the use of a powerhouse chest?

Thanks!

Thanks punisher! I was actually kinda thinking of that hair.

I'm not sure about that Ramona, she was all depressing then.

I've been leaning towards the book 3 look where she was

fighting Envy with the giant hammer

or one of the ones with the goggles.

What about Rhodey's hair (from IM1) with some slight modifying? It's small/thin enough that you could add a bit to the top for LL's hair & not have it look too big or bulky or weird.

It's what I thought of immediately cuz his hair is thin on the sides (close to his face) with some volume on top/back.

for Lucas Lee maybe go for a cross between the comic look and the movie look and use the jacket that came with the terminator. as for Ramona's hair you could do a little cutting and scuplting on BSG Wave 1 Six's hair.
