Iron Man Armory

Recommended Posts

Sharing my WIP Armory.

I still have to extend this armory upwards and sideways to make way for the other armors, Tony's rides, and his other toys.

Well, I'M impressed. Totally looking forward to the additions. Bonus points if you choose to make that underground "wine cellar" and find a nook for Cap's shield. ;)

Thanks for the appreciation guys!

Mysterious Stranger, I too, am combining several sets in coming up with dioramas.

MisterPL, I see where you're coming from. A straight-up display of armors would take up less space but a diorama would be more creative. IM struggling to find a balance betwwen the two. And wow! That's an elegant set-up you have there.

Very cool setup! The only thing that would put it over the top is some LED's

I had been playing around with the Lego Digital Designer program a while back and came up with this as a possible display for my ironman mates(until i did a price check to see what all the bricks for even this unfinished hall would cost). I was going to make a rotating platform in the middle that lowered and raised up to each section since the floors of each one slide out with the armor attached.

That's awesome! Dare I ask how much it would have cost? :D

That design would have to be hundreds of dollars.

I really like this Lego Armory that someone did; it was probably the first one I saw that convinced me you could do one with Lego that would look great with minimates. I'd hate to see the actual price tag though.

Just the unfinished part alone was $248, so needless to say it was some major sticker shock. tongue.png
