Let's not get too worked up just yet. By all indications this is a legit company making an earnest attempt to broaden the minimates market and to provide us with some great looking characters. They seem to honestly want to provide the convention figures for sale but let's remember that this is a new product launch for them. Some bumps are to be expected.

So Zach said no army builders, eight characters and then in the Army builder contest said someone from that thread would be happy. Blue suited X Men? Or are we overthinking? When is an army builder also a character? Its the riddle of the sphinx. Multiple Man.

The recent Planet X storyline from Uncanny Avengers could inspire about 40 awesome minimate designs.

I was expecting a photo of the Luke custom minimate bound in the spiderman webbing. BTW congrats, I really wish you guys tons of success with this project.

I would love a harness like the one Captain America uses to carry his shield or like the Chris Redfield harness only with two peg holes instead of a peg. This way you could connect accessories where the accessory has the peg to a standard figure. DST could reuse it for scabbards, backpacks, jetpacks, He-Man, Chewbacca carrying C3PO, etc. It seems currently most back accessories can only connect to a torso piece like a cape or a bulked up chest piece and its a shame.

He's in 'Married' on FX. Plays an old man. Think he's getting typecast.

the elf girl in the far left doesn't seem to have a torso cover while at the same time seeming to have a scabbard behind her sword hand. Really looking forward to seeing more detail (hint hint).

Im really curious about the accessories on the 4 pack. Looks like some new harnesses and scabbards. Are there hip pieces that will hold a scabbard? If so does the scabbard have a peg or a hole or is it all connected to the belt/hip pieces.

I don't remember where it was mentioned but I think they would do well to slash pricing on diapers as a way to get parents in the door. For my area, diapers are cheaper at the supermarket where I shop every week anyways.

Just a joke about saying 'too soon?' after saying something inappropriate as if it makes the inappropriate comment acceptable.

Thanks for posting. The figures look great and I hope you have a lot of success. Q1) will there be any other accessories not shown in the images? Q2) depending on success of these sets, do you think future sets/figures would incorporate new parts? Q3) any character types (armored knights, dragons, something else) that you, personally, would like to see developed?

We had other plans for it. Minimates were never the focus. Also, we had other lines to work on that were more time-sensitive. We've discussed who would be in Set 2. This set is Season 1 focused. I have a couple of questions for anyone that may be able to answer. Has the small sword from Nychirix been used for any other figures? Does anyone keep track of female versus male accessories? For example, the sword above has a hole instead of a peg, but in the same Antalor/Nychirix set there is a horn (pictured below) that features a peg instead of a hole. This type of information would be really helpful when trying to figure out what pieces can be used for which figures. Hail Ivan

Zach do you have any info on the accessories for these? In the four pack picture, the elf girl in the back left appears to have two knives on her belt and perhaps a scabbard for her sword. She may also have knives attached to her harness on her pack. Are the knives removable? Does the scabbard hold the sword and attach to her hip? The guy second from the right is holding his scabbard in his hand. Does that attach to his body anywhere?

Obviously, Norm MacDonald has been cast as Dr. Strange.
