  1. FarmVille player here. Anyone here is welcome to add me. On my profile page here I have the link to my Facebook page listed. If you do add me, though, please leave a small note saying who you are.
  2. *headbang* [rant]Honestly, it's stuff like this that has turned me off of modern comics completely. Things had been going down hill for awhile. Once the travesty that was "Sins Past" (a continuity-destroying, memory-raping crapfest of absolutely ridiculous storytelling) oozed along, I thought things could get no worse...than we get . Makes me long for the good old days when characters stayed dead, the writers didn't insult their readers' intelligence, etc. I miss the 1960s/70s/80s Marvel. [/end rant] That being said, as low as my regard for modern comics may be, there are some great looking characters, including several of the ones mentioned. I'd happily purchase 'mates of them if they were released. Agreed. Not just Enchantress and Executioner, but Baron Zemo, too. The three of them, as a team, were some of the earliest and most memorable Avengers foes. Hopefully, in addition to Melter, they would also release a Black Knight (the evil version) to complement him and Radioactive Man, and those three, with Zemo, would give us the original Masters of Evil. Don't know much about Egghead, but his being a major foe of Hank Pym definitely makes him 'mate worthy in my opinion. No idea who Coat of Arms and Big Zero are, though.
  3. Chrono Cross 'mates might be cool, too, or at least 'mates of the main characters: Serge, Kid, Lynx, and maybe Harle (Dark Serge would be cool, too).
  4. The idea came to me after seeing the name of one our members here. Chrono Trigger was, and still is, one of the best video games of all time, IMO. I know that the chances of this happening are virtually non-existent, but it's fun to imagine. Here are some possible 'mates: 2 packs: Crono & Marle Lucca & Robo Frog & Cyrus Ayla & Kino Schala & Janus Atropos XR & R series robot (the kind fought in the factory) Dalton & one of his soldiers Queen Zeal Hekkran & Hench Zombor & one of those skeleton things you fight on Zenan Bridge Yakra & Queen Leene King Guardia (600 A.D.) & King Guardia (1000 A.D.) Chancellor (either one) & Pierre Johnny & one of his robot friends Doan & Krawlie Box sets: Magus, Ozzie, Slash, Flea Azala, Nizbel, green Reptite, brown Reptite Gaspar, Belthasar, Melchior, Nu Spekkio (four of his different forms) Kilwala, Roly, Blue Imp, Green Imp (or any four common monsters) Male Ioka villager, female Ioka villager, child Ioka villager, Laruba village elder These are just a few ideas. It would be awesome if DST made them someday. We've never had any CT figures in any shape or form, which is a real shame. If they could also make a Lavos (much bigger than the others, like the giant Galactus Minimate), that would be even better.
  5. These figures are great, but there are a few caveats: They are very overpriced. $8.50+? When I was a kid these would have only been $5.00, $6.00 tops. Severe deficiency in villains. For every dozen or so heroes, we get a villain. Or two. Re-releases of some of the same few characters. Over. And over. And over. How many different versions of Spider-Man and Iron Man do we need? That's one of the things that makes Minimates so appealing. Reasonably priced, HUGE variety, etc. Don't get me wrong, I love the MU 3.75" line, and I plan to keep collecting them, but Hasbro really should tweak down the price a bit and stop neglecting the villains.
  6. Thanks! I sure hope so. I'd really like to get a Taskmaster Minimate. Absorbing Man, too. Among others.
  7. The only version of A Christmas Carol that I saw was Mickey's Christmas Carol. I loved that movie as a kid.
  8. Personally, I think the mechanic guy from Adventures in Babysitting (the one that the little girl mistook for Thor) should play the Thunder God. He's got the look nailed, and he's got the build...all he needs is a beard.
  9. Thanks, everyone. Trekker 42, I'm afraid I'm stumped. Which movie/book is that from?
  10. Maximum Carnage boxset Spider-Man Venom Carnage Shriek Carrion Doppleganger Demogoblin I would purchase this in a heartbeat. Edit: I just thought of another one I'd like to see: a box set of the Enforcers (Ox, Montana, and Fancy Dan, with Big Man thrown in as a bonus). The Enforcers are some of my favorite old school Spidey villains.
  11. Would anyone else be interested in (theoretical) Mortal Kombat Minimates?
  12. I would definitely be interested, especially if they included some of the more obscure/underrated characters like Tenshinhan, Yamucha, and Chaozu.
  13. Definitely picking up Molecule Man. Hopefully they'll make 'mates of Volcana and Titania, too (the former due to her becoming romantically involved with Molecule Man during the Secret Wars).
  14. Hey Man, Welcome to the boards! Aren't we supposed to be the ones that ask new folks if they have any questions or "what-not" to ask So I guess the only question I have is which minimates did you start with? and which lines interest you most? T. Thanks for the welcome! So far, I have most of the X-Men Origins: Wolverine Minimates. I have the following 2-packs so far: Deadpool & Special Ops Wolverine Logan & Sabertooth Origins Wolverine & Agent Zero Battle Damaged Wolverine & Gambit WWII Wolverine & Final Battle Deadpool I will probably be getting both of the Dark Avengers box sets for Christmas, if my hunch is right. The Marvel line interests me the most. I just wish I had started collecting earlier, because some of the older 'mates are becoming both rare and pricey.
  15. My top 10 (in no particular order) Daredevil movie edition Kingpin Daredevil movie edition Bullseye Daredevil movie edition Elektra Daredevil movie edition...Daredevil! Spider-Man 2 bank robbery Doctor Octopus (with removable fedora) Spider-Man 2 bank robbery Aunt Man (with a cane for whacking Doc Ock!) Spider-Man movie edition Green Goblin X-Men movie edition (any of the movies) Iceman X-Men movie edition (any of the movies) Mystique X-Men movie edition Toad I figured, since we have movie edition Minimates for Spider-Man 3, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men: The Last Stand, Punisher: War Zone, and X-Men Origins: Wolverine, it might be cool to have some 'mates for the other Marvel films. As far as I know, there has never been a toy of any kind, Minimate or otherwise, of the Michael Clarke Duncan Kingpin, so it would be especially nice to have a 'mate of him.
  16. Hey everyone, just thought I'd introduce myself, being new here, and all. Not only am I new to this forum, but I'm also a new collector of Minimates (having just started collecting this week). If any of you have any questions, or what-not, feel free to ask. Pleased to meet you all!
