  1. Wow, that's, uh...wow. AI suppose I also forgot that Mezco is doing a Poop Soldier in their upcoming Axe Cop line. Maybe Hasbro or Mattel should make a Poo Fighters line-there seems to be some demand for it.
  2. I thought they were announcing Golden Girls finally. Now I'm confused.
  3. I always think the difference is that smalelr companies like DST have to actually manage their business to survive. They have to know what the market is, what it wants and how to get it to them best. I swear if Mattel or Hasbro came out with a line of toys called Poo Fighters that were sculpted to look like piles of crap with weapons that most retail stores would carry it because of who was selling it and the clout that they have.
  4. Another movie license I really couldn't care less about. However, I'm still digging new movie sets since they provide more celebrity heads for my SHIELD agents. As for more movies, call me when DST picks up the rights to Bill & Ted or Mystery Men.
  5. Looking at more of their news, I just realized that Cloak and Dagger (along with Abomination and A-Bomb) are mixed variants, similar to what they've been doing in Marvel Legends. You know, because that's been working out so well. If anything, what DST has done with Minimates shows that a company can have the Marvel license and continue to make toys the same way and still keep fans happy for more than ten years.
  6. I believe that it will only be Avengers related characters, then X-Men the following year. Or something. My guess is that they'd have to do a massive recall of all of their peg-warming MU/IM2/Thor/Cap/Spidey/Avengers/IM3 stuff and start fresh. I doubt they'll do that though. I'd swear the way things have been with Hasbro over the last few years you'd think they were following the Mattel business model for selling toys.
  7. Also, the Moon Boy and several other of those figures are customs. Sorry to be the bearer of other bad news. Perhaps this time around Hasbro can figure out how to successfully sell their toys to people that want them. They seem to have forgotten that recently. In related news, I ordered the three new(er) figures through Amazon last week (Elektra, Mysterio and the new Rhino). They shipped on the 12th from their distribution center one mile south of my house. The package went from there to Kentucky and then back to my post office where it has sat for two days now. So even when Hasbro does make new figures, I still can't get them thanks to Amazon and the USPS. I ordered 9 days ago and I still don't know when they'll make it the long one-mile trek to my house.
  8. Hopefully a TRU Thor 2 wave is announced also. I'd hate to be stuck again with the Warriors One-Third in my collection.
  9. I'm wondering how much will be revealed in the panel that isn't on display. There's really no Marvel boxsets on display besides the Zombies and other than T-bolts I don't think there's been anything else announced, right?
  10. Minimate collectors are the best panel-note-takers in the collecting community. And if we can see a bat guy with a robin guy, I'm going to start pushing for a squirrel girl Battle Beast.
  11. I'm highly doubting these are finished products. DST wouldn't have items for general release close to shipping without having announced them. With the exception of what we've seen tray shots or packaged pics for, I believe these are all just paint samples.
  12. I believe this is specialty and that things haven't been planned out for TRU yet. However, I could be wrong and I expect more info to come from the panel. There was control art at C2E2 for a Giraffe, but I doubt that would be exclusive to TRU...
  13. I'm very unistered in this line, but do hope there will be a 2-pack of Marv and an electric chair.
  14. It's my favorite Toybiz figure they ever made. Maybe the Minimate will have nipple-missiles also. And is that one Absorbing Man trying to grab Thor's butt? Or is he trying to absorb the powers of an Asgardian fart? Electro is cool, but I'd much rather see that kind of effort and effects put into Zzzax. 54 regular waves and 18 TRU waves and the only all-Hulk wave was for the movie. Aren't we overdue for an incredible wave of Minimate Hulk lovin'?
  15. So, has anyone compiled a list of how each Marvel wave breaks down?
  16. The last couple of exclusive have been revealed to be a gitd White Power Ranger and a GoT Ned Stark with removable head. Totally the best thing they have to offer (other than the 9" B&W SDCC Freddy Funko they also have).
  17. See, I married my highschool sweetheart and as of next Wednesday we will have been married 19 years now. I never even dated anyone else other than her. If that's your analogy of SDCC, then that explains why I have no desire to go or can't figure out why so many old school fans still go. And for anyone looking for reasonably priced Minimates from the con, there's a seller who's got most of them for very good prices with free shipping: http://www.ebay.com/itm/THE-WALKING-DEAD-HERSHEL-S-FARM-MINIMATES-BOX-SET-SAN-DIEGO-COMIC-CON-2013-EX-/281131616987?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item4174c00adb#ht_247wt_1057
  18. I prefer 'DrJango Unchained' myself. Oh, and amazing work on those customs. I think they really set the bar high for future BB customs.
  19. I'm just happy to see that the unlocked figures are $12 cheaper than the regular ones (although I'm holding off to see if they offer a set of them for cheaper). And I love the idea of releasing Seventh Kingdom stuff through Kickstarter. I missed out on a lot of the figures, but have a hard time paying what the prices are on ebay when there's such widespread breakage.
  20. Can I ask a favor? Can someone please PM me when there's news about the boxset? I still plan on reading Age of Ultron at some point and can't seem to read anything in this thread recently that doesn't ruin some of the plot points of it. Thanks,
  21. What bothers me most about SDCC is that so many companies focus their presence/exclusives to that show while there are several other locations starting to grow that get no attention. From all that I've seen in the past few years I can never see myself trying to go to SDCC in my life. Five years ago maybe, but not now that it's gotten all of the Hollywood/media attention that it's seen. I'm not quite sure how anyone can actually enjoy being there, but I guess that's not my thing. But, to each their own. I do look forward to next year when Indianapolis gets its own con because I know it won't be packed, however I doubt there will be any big name company presence and expect zero toy exclusives.
  22. No, they don't have fifty exclusives. That'd be crazy. They actually only have fifty-nine exclusives through Funko this year. Of course, that doesn't include the six Funko exclusives not available at the Funko booth. And oddly, some of the exclusives still haven't been announced yet. Well, I say oddly, but up until last year they never gave out specifics about their exclusives and only gave clues. Here's a pic of everything they've announced so far at their booth:
  23. Happy birthday to our Fearless Leader. Hope it's a great one for you!
