yeah i've checked out 5 or 6 here in ne and se portland, and there's not a lot going on.

does anyone else use the walgreens app? i used to be able to get an idea of when a store would restock, but now when i do the search store feature, it tells me there's nothing around. is this an common issue?

I just came here to suggest something similar... maybe changing the name of this thread from "animated mates" to "Walgreen mates" since we now have animated, movie, and comic waves.

The app and website are now telling me there are no stores in my area that carry minimates, so that's helpful.

i popped into a couple Walgreens here in NE Portland, Or. no wave 9 or wave 2 of infinity at either. these were belmont/caese chave & lloyd district. anyone have luck else where?

what makes it even worse is we were teased with Vision... then nothing.

i never saw minimates at walmart but i think i started collecting minimates with the last wave that target had (i got spider-woman and ghost rider there, i think?). i would love if Target started carrying them again!

@Joe Hill those Buffymates in your signature are rad. i still have all my old Buffy palz and was so bummed when the 3rd wave was cancelled.

or maybe wave 77 will be tru wave 26?

with w76 around the corner, i'm kinda surprised we don't know much about w77 and maybe even 78. have we heard anything at all? i haven't had much to buy in the recent waves, so i'm hoping for one that'll really get me excited to spend my money!

i'm re-reading it right now, and was very recently thinking the same thing.

i have team specific display pieces, tho nothing at all as cool as these. i'd love something similar, but think instead of specific character locations, they should just have foot holes. or, maybe not even foot holes, since not all feet are the same. maybe just individual pegs that stick up in random spots of the display. they'd figure it out. i think what they could do is sell it for $25, and we get the base and 2 mates specific to the base. the only thing is, i'd imagine you'd only get 2 maybe 3 mates on one display of Heroclix, so something much larger would be necessary. maybe a wave of three 2 packs, each with a base piece that could stand alone but also connect to another. if we're doing a wave $25 might be kinda spendy per pack... but would y'all cough up $20 a pack for something like this?

i went with OZT on page 2 as well and used 4 of your five. Joseph was still around... in fact i think he'd only recently debuted. I made my own Joseph with a Magneto face, Silver Sable hair, and wave 60s blue and yellow male body. I mean, it might as well be him. I also made Cecilia with a female body Storm head and zombie hair. I would love official versions, tho. I also included Sabra and Iceman, and then Spider-Man and Bone Claw Bandana Wolverine. he's perfect, cuz minimates already don't have noses! i figured they'd be the big names to carry an otherwise pretty C-List wave. I suggested a Prime Sentinle for the BAF, but X-Man would be way better.

i think most of the comic shops in Portland, Or have stopped carrying mates - if anyone here knows otherwise, please speak up - and I'm really only looking for the Jessica/Purple Man set. so if anyone is army building and has extra and wants to make a deal or trade, give me a holler!

if i can't get a Gen X set, I would gladly take Chamber as he's appeared recently, like in Gen X and Phoenix Resurrection. I'd like M in either X-Men or Uncanny X-Men looks. Husk... hasn't had a lot of great looks since. Mondo was introduced late and revealed as a bad guy only 14 issues later... but he was in all the early promotional art and a couple different X-Men card sets so he was still around from the beginning. i remember reading Generation X #25 when it came out, and being shocked. it was such an intense issue, and I did not see Mondo's betrayal coming, even with some of the hints in earlier issues. Generation X, when it first came out, was a hot book. It's sad it fell so far to the way side. I hope Marvel gives them another chance, and focuses on the surviving memeber and not a bunch of new students.
