drgnrbrn316
Just got Toyfare today, and they have the pics up of all the DC Minimates. Same pictures as we've seen, even with Booster's crooked mask (even had a funny remark about it in a word bubble). Sadly, release date was listed as "To be determined"
Amazing.JL
Darn Hopefully they can sort out the costs soon an offer them again.
Cyc
I seem to recall people asked why Wizard took them down, that's why.
cdubya
I seem to recall people asked why Wizard took them down, that's why. Why? Because of costs, or Booster's "crooked-goggles"? Or "Why they appeared in ToyFare"? It's very early and I'm a bit confused.
Cyc
Why they were removed from Wizard site a few months back, to allow them to sell us printed versions in ToyFare
Kilgore
Worse still, there'll be an exclusive Toyfare released shortly with variant paint jobs of all the figs so that we'll buy two copies. ... no, not really.
cdubya
Ah, that makes more sense. I really liked the Powerman/IronFist (one of my favorites). I'd actually like to see another, it was one of the best exclusives that they've ever done. C'mon ToyFare, "exclusive DC Alfred/Dick Grayson" for getting our hopes-up with "non-information" about DC's release!

C'mon ToyFare, "exclusive DC Alfred/Dick Grayson" for getting our hopes-up with "non-information" about DC's release! no a variant R.I.P blue beetle & booster gold blue beetle with blood stains and busted goggles and a chunk taken out of his mask booster gold with a ghost rider head just kidding
Kirby
ToyFare is usually at least a month behind the world in terms of information dissemination, except when it is "exclusive," and even then, it is generally 'known' by the time the magazine hits newsstands. But it is funny.
rx78jj
I would love for Toyfare to do an exclusive. How bout Hush as the dead but alive again Robin. Give me a hell yeah!!!!
Cyc
Speaking of which, I was bored at the comic shop today and stumbled across good old #83 where they had their last really large Minimate article (due to the then upcoming release of C3) and Power Man/Iron Fist exclusive. Pity there doesn't seem to be any interest in another one. Too much overstock perhaps?
Jason
To make a KICKASS 2 pack you wouldnt have to look any further then your banner! Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk would SELL. At least to me it would

jodd
Found the pics from Toyfare. Take a look http://www.wizarduniverse.com/magazine/toyfare/001271722.cfm
Deadpool
Why not bother to fix the stupid visor? (Booster Gold's)
TM2 Dinobot
Because for some stupid reason, those are almost the only pics in existance any more. All the other news sites took theirs down and got rid of them. Heck, even I didn't save any. I figured I'd have the toys in a few months
Amazing.JL
Nothing really new, but just got my Wizard and says DC minimates are slated for 2007. At least it was changed from TBD in Toyfare to 2007. Hopefully early 2007.
Jatta Pake
Those look like Prototypes to me. But it looks better than no news.
Amazing.JL
Yep they are still the protos, nothing new.
Lobsterman
I wonder if the final version of Batman will have a new cape, or the same C3 parts shown here. They redid Supes' cape and hair, so I'm kind of surprised they didn't touch Bats.
jadian
NO TOYFARE EXCLUSIVE!!! Remember all the head aches, ulcers, and fist fight offers over the PM/IF pack? No one would pre-order ANY through them because we could get them sooner at a convention. Can I get a witness...... Oh and Bats old cowl is different in that proto pic isn't it? I don't remember any faces painted ON the cowl, they were cut out to show the head under.

The battle damaged Bats has a different face under the cowl than the one painted on the cowl. An interesting take on the mask, but I think I like the three dimensional aspect of having layers with the mask cut out over the face. I always thought that it would have been cool if AA painted two faces on each side of the head(like LEGO) to achieve different expressions. But, I guess this is their mandatory-need to differentiate themselves from companies! It's not so bad on Batman, but this new approach really looks odd on characters like Harley Quinn(the head appears bigger than normal). TBT!
have you guys seen the actual proto's, I mean in the flesh, not pix? The whole Batman mask thing looks fine to me, I thought I'd be freaked but its fine, esp if we get an extra expression underneath. T. drgnrbrn316
I'm not saying the new way of doing it looks bad, I'm just stating my personal preference. Plus, it looks odd to unmask your figure all dramatic like and see part of his face still attached to the mask.
