(As I've observed with my boys and their female friends/cousins, Wonder Woman seems the easier "sell", since she's a super hero and a Princess. Not sure what the deal is with little girls and princesses but t's apparently very important. Except to my cousin's oldest girl... she insistes on being Hawkgirl and smacking people with sticks.
