The old Beast is the first Minimate I bought and the only reason I decided to start collecting (although I'm now fully addicted) was the upcoming Beast. Thinking about it, it's not too surprising with all of the Mates that are due to come out. That would give a little time between upcoming waves to give people a chance to get them over time instead of all at once. Ah well, just something to look forward to at the end of January. That way, I can have more time to budget for them. Having said that, this is the second most anticipated set in recent memory for me (after the Defenders). I can't wait for that Beast and Wolverine. . .though I could probably live 100 lives and never care a lick for that generic looking, purple haired woman.
