Star Trek Series 5 Minimates Pic and Info

This is an excellent set. Just think of all the customizing opportunities, Picard from Generations and First Contact. Kirk and Spock from The Motion Picture, Sisko from the pilot.......... the list goes on.

That is why i am loving this two waves of Star trek. I think about it put Baltar's head on wave 4 Picard's body you have Riker! Take wave 4 Admiral Kirk put on Spock or Bones head and you are on your way to the full bridge crew!

i think this is why the trek & bsg lines have done so well is because of the ease to do quick custom charaters thus people have been buy multiple sets or even whole case's ....... hands up who's bought case's

I've just seen the pictures of Wave 5 & I just can't think of something positive to say. The 'stock-photo' packaging is lame & wouldn't attract a wasp if it were smeared in honey,f**king dreadful.Since when did Minimates packaging have pictures of anything other than Minimate caricatures ? The figures themselves ? Words for once fail me.

I think I would prefer artwork of the Minimates instead of actor pics, but the packaging doesn't look bad to me. What would make series 4 look better is if they put the Enterprise on the cardbacks, like the Mirror, Mirror set.

Either way the little guys in the package are what matters and I can't wait.
