Logan
Where did you get those arms for Doc Ock? Those are sweet!
drgnrbrn316
Where did you get those arms for Doc Ock? Those are sweet! I got them from the Megablocks Doc Ock. I cut off the arm hubs for the minimate version, then just applied the connector piece that stuck on the back of the megablocks one. They're flexible, but they won't stay in specific poses the way the LEGO version does. Still, I thought they looked closer to the "true" version, so I went with those. drgnrbrn316
Update! Added images of updated Dr. Strange, Hobgoblin, Dr. Jonas Harrow, and Scarlet Spider (with comparison shots when available) Added images of Battle-damaged Wolverine Added images of modified Rogue, Juggernaut, and Ghost Rider Added images of Leonardo and Raphael Dr. Strange is made of a modified Batman armor accessory (sans armor), part of an Iron Fist collar and fist accessories, and a Wolverine hairpiece. Hobgoblin is made of a modified Dr. Doom cape, part of an Iron Man helmet, and Green Goblin boots and hands. Dr. Jonas Harrow is made of a modified Bruce Banner hairpiece (sans hair), a Samwise (LotR) hand, and a modified Mariko dress. The lab coat was made more 3D by cutting plastic from a blister pack and crafting a second overlapping layer to the coat and pockets. Scarlet Spider is made of a modified Darkseid armor, part of a Blade coat (sans coat), Powerman wrist accessories, and modified Ultimate Storm boots (sans boots). Battle-damaged Wolverine is made of a modified Giant-sized Wolverine, and a modified Wolverine hairpiece. Rogue is made of a modified Ultimate Sabretooth coat and a modified Ultimate Wolverine belt. The belt has the appearance of hanging freely by using part of blister pack to make an invisible "belt" to attach the hanging belt from. Juggernaut is made of a repainted Thing chestpiece. Ghost Rider is made of a modified Ghost Rider chain. Leonardo and Raphael are made from parts of Megablok Ninja Turtles, with Elektra sais and modified Megablok swords. The hands and feet have been modified to have three fingers and two toes.
luke314pi
They are all excellent, but I especially like Scarlet Spider and Battle Damaged Wolverine! Using the Darkseid armor for Scarlet Spider was a nice touch. And it took some guts to modify a box set Wolverine.

drgnrbrn316
Nice spidey!! But...... darn you... you stole my webs as extra arms idea... great minds thikn alike huh ? T. I got the idea when I was taking the picture for my Scarlet Spider. I had an extra web sitting near him and when I looked at it, it reminded me of the arms. I flipped open an issue of Spidey and looked at the arms. They had a weblike look to them and the hooks at the end. So, I tried it out and was happy with the results. I look forward to seeing your take on the new Spidey Timbo!

Fujis
Agreed - great work on Spider-Hulk. On all of your Spider-Men for that matter. I really hope we get an Iron-Spidey complete with arms like the on you've made - it looks wicked! And nice work painting the webbing on Spider-Hulk! drgnrbrn316
Spider-Hulk was a first for me, as he was my first use of Sculpey. I used a Thing chest and hands to bulk him up, then slapped a little Sculpey around his face to give him a real brute-ish mug. Paint and details and I got what you see before you. There's many more Spider-men to come too, so stay tuned. Out of all the customs I've done, only one of them has become an official mate, so I'm thinking that if I flood the market with custom Spideys, AA will be forced to give us something else. drgnrbrn316
Updated with the first two completed characters from my Silent Hill 2 "line". Also added more to the Faces of Spider-Man list (remember, all of these are real costumes worn in the comics!) Finally added the first completed Enforcer, as promised! A work in progress added also, with a Bulked-Up Hulk. I need to work on matching the green hues. On the horizon: More Spideys! More Villains! More Silent Hill! And maybe Red Sonja! luke314pi
Wow, what an update! I am seriously loving Spider-Lizard and James from Silent Hill! You did a nice job bulking up Hulk. I keep meaning to do that someday. It looks really nice.
drgnrbrn316
Wow, what an update! I am seriously loving Spider-Lizard and James from Silent Hill! You did a nice job bulking up Hulk. I keep meaning to do that someday. It looks really nice. Thanks! Spidey-Lizard was achieved in much the same way as my original Lizard. A small hole at the bottom of his back allowed me to attach his tail, and a Venom head and hands were used to give him his animalistic look. I even took some plastic from an action figure box and fashioned the tattered remains of his mask on the back of his head. James is a Bruce Banner hair-piece, Unmasked Spidey head, New X-Men Wolvie jacket, and a toothpick, Punisher pistol, and Lego rifle for accessories. I painted him and Pyramid head with a dry brush to give them the grainy look and feel from the game. That rifle was a pain to fit his hands too. I have the scars on my fingertips to prove it!
